I was looking at the heat index in the Dallas Fort Worth Area, and I don't want to do that. Temperatures easily get into 105 - 115 for days and days. Naw, I don't want to do that. I would end up spending at least a few hundred dollars a month on A/C Electric bill. Gas heaters run much cheaper. I also run the risk of breaking out with a heat rash that I have had before.
I use to say I could live anywhere, then I visited Texas in the summer, lol.
Forget that, too hot.
I can't do that kind of heat - you just do not want to be outside!
I have seen two homes in the green mountain area, over the last few weeks, sell for 100k over list.

Is demand really that high right now?
I think it really comes down to the area, and GM is extremely popular. The house on Vivian I know well, I walked by it on the way to school for many years - and it blows my mind to see that neighborhood so in demand.
