    Denver seems like the best place in Colorado to live in with coffee shops, good restaurants, bars, and breweries within walking distance of lots of houses there.

      It’s not. Denver has gone to crap over the last decade or so. There are homeless camps stretching several city blocks. Be prepared to walk through them with your family while people do drugs right in front of you if you want to visit any of the state buildings. Last time I was there I had a work function at one of the nicer parts of downtown and we were stepping around human feces on the side walk right outside all the really nice restaurants. Crime has shot through the roof too. I would look for somewhere else to live. For how expensive Denver is, it should really be a LOT nicer.

    Actually, Denver has a pretty great climate with 4 seasons. Since it's dry and not in the super humid eastern half of the U.S., snow isn't wet and heavy like back east. It also melts quickly due to the nearly constant sunshine...over 300 sunny days a year. Colorado winters aren't as long and cold as other northern and midwestern states and spring comes early, in March, compared to them. You can even get uncommonly warm days out of nowhere during the winter.

    Does it get super cold there in Denver?

    • @amberlynny
      @amberlynny 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There have been a handful of days below 0 degrees since I moved here in 2021. But cold is very subjective. I'm from Georgia and I think it is pretty cold often.

      @destinationdenvercolorado  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Denver has its days - and as Amber mentioned, I think it depends on what you think cold is - but overall I think Denver’s winters are pretty mild aside from the occasional handful of snow filled days or short periods of 3 or 4 random days in the winter when it drops to single digits.

    • @dcwwilliams93
      @dcwwilliams93 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes but not often I'm a native and during the months of January and February we get single digits and sometimes even blow zero, November and December is mild usually around the teens and 20s. And than lastly sometimes we get cold fronts that will drop us in the single digits for a week or more

      @@amberlynnyI need your help. You moved from Georgia and I'm contemplating a move to Georgia, but have a few reservations. What led you to leave Georgia and what made you select Denver?

      @@brucegoolsby1470 Atlanta is hot and humid (which I love) with lots of sunny days and very close to the Blue Ridge Mountains. I enjoyed my time there and only left because I like to move around.

    Moving to Colorado from out of state isn’t realistic unless you make at least $300k and bring a war chest. That and the current homeless/migrant situation is making it unlivable.

      Colorado is not a cheap state, no getting around that. I know plenty of people who have made the move making less than 1/3 of that amount though - it just depends on their lifestyle and where they want to live.

      Thank you for the positive video. I don’t get people that are so negative about a city which has been one of the go to places to live for the last 25-30 years. Funny thing is… Most of the time it’s people with their geopolitics that’s driving the negativity yet the places that match those mindsets…nobody is flocking to. Where are the how great it is to live in cities in Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky & Arkansas, TH-cam videos?
