Thank you for watching, be sure to subscribe so that you don't miss new videos coming out every week!!
My husband is a special ed teacher and I was recently offered a job in and around Denver. We both grew up in Alaska, and sadly there is no job growth/security there. My husband says he needs to live around mountains and the outdoors, so Colorado is on top of our list! Thank you for the information!
Thank you so much for watching, I hope it’s helpful!!
Our family on our way up in approximately 6 weeks. We're very excited about this new adventure.
Congratulations, that is exciting news! Where are you coming from!?
I was visiting this week and was offering a job and the idea of moving seams very appealing. I'd be making almost twice as much as I am here in San Juan but I'm worried about the cost of living in Denver.
I'll be visiting and probably moving out there to rent by the end of the year. I'm thinking about welding school and getting into a welding job. I also like mountains.
That sounds like a good plan, welders make a good living! Thank you for watching!
Nice video! By the way, fun fact: the clip from the segment about traffic congestion seems to be from Brazil. When I saw it, it looked very similar to what I experienced a lot over there (then I confirmed by the names of the buses routes). I hope it's a bit better over there in the region (Denver metro -suburbs). How would the traffic be between the Littleton area and downtown Denver?
That is a good catch, I’ll have to see what my editor used there! Our traffic gets tough but not THAT crazy. Littleton to Denver is a pretty easy drive!
Love your videos! I will be moving to the Denver area this spring. I look forward to contacting you in regards to my move soon.
Thank you so much for watching, and absolutely - I’d be happy to chat!!
I also knew a girl full scholarship to Humbolt Uni and she went back home because the bullying was insane she was also Mexican, I want to move to another state but I am afraid of getting bullied.
Hi! Do you think you could make a video on the Northern Suburbs by any chance? I'm saving to move to Denver in the next 5-10 years, and the northern suburbs seem have some of the best housing prices (particularly in the area around Federal Heights). I'd love to know more about the area!
Absolutely - that is my #1 goal as soon as spring gets here and I can get some good video of those areas!
@@destinationdenvercolorado Sweet, thanks!
How is being Hispanic living in Colorado? I have family friends living in Whasington and she tells me they treat her really bad because she’s Mexican.
I appreciate you watching and for the question - that’s definitely important to know. My wife is Venezuelan and we spend a lot of time in the Latino community. In my experience and hers, there has been a welcome feeling with certainly some occasional exceptions, but nothing that has ever given us pause. Denver has always had a large Hispanic population, so at least for my wife, she felt she was in a good place when she arrived to Colorado.
Visit but not really my style
That’s fair, definitely a lot of people prefer to visit rather than live here and I don’t blame them! Thank you for watching!
Too crowded, too expensive, too much crime. The mountains are great but don't go there on a weekend or holiday because you'll just be stuck in traffic.
If you are super Lib, then sure
Otherwise, run away fast
I appreciate you watching!
Im afraid of the future of Denver with all those illegal immigrants and micro-housing them in good neighborhoods, like Overland Park, near Wash Park …
The city is definitely in an interesting period of time - I still see a ton of potential and the fact that so many companies continue to come here is promising.
Dont move to Colorado.
Thank you for watching, Brandy!
May I ask why? Im looking at various states to relocate.
@@stephyringler4578cost of living is insane here right now.
NO.
With a screen name like nopenope I figured for sure you’d say yes! 😂
