Enjoyed the video. If you do enjoy being outdoors, Colorado Springs is one of the best places to be. It has hikes, trails, and mountain climbs for all levels of fitness. I hope to move back one day- even with all of its downfalls.
wrt 4 wheel drive - proper tires are more important. 4wd may get you going easier from a dead stop but it won't keep you from sliding off the road or into the car in front of you. It's all about the tires (traction). A 2wd car but with proper tires will outperform a 4wd with generic street tires under most conditions. I suggest Michelin CrossClimate 2 which can be run in summer and winter.
LOL video shown at 742 showing the traffic is a joke ! THats NOT what we in Phoenix call traffic thats an empty freeway for the most part. Here when you have 6 lanes bumper to bumper each way and its 117 degrees outside now thats traffic !
Thank you for your comment! I appreciate your perspective on traffic conditions. Traffic can definitely vary from place to place. It sounds like Phoenix has some intense traffic challenges! If you have any other thoughts or need more information, feel free to reach out.
@deitricthompson Thanks for watching! Unfortunately, safety is all relative to each individual. (Where one individual may feel safe another may not) However, I would check out www.communitycrimemap.com/ or coloradosprings.gov/transparency-and-data these websites have interactive crime maps to help you find just the right neighborhood for you and your family. Now with working at Schriver AFB the Powers Blvd corridor is a very close option to your work with some apartments. Don't hesitate to reach out if we can help with your move out to Colorado Springs. The best place to reach us is cspringsliving@gmail.com

Crime is insane, shootings every day. No one has license plates or they don't bother registering there vehicles, no insurance. Homeless problem is out of control. Don't move here unless you stay north by the AF Academy.

Stay out of the left lane unless you're passing.
I'm always passing so does that mean I can stay in the left lane ?

Seems like WV in a lot of ways, except I can have a better life there as a PD patient
Worst drivers, roads, and people just suck.
The hail in the springs is terrible!!
If you're thinking of coming here just know it's already full. The state is going to shit
Bro next time put on a jacket you look cold😂
