  • NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force’s new air doctrine is an effort to fit into the larger perspective of how air power dovetails into the national security construct. India in a position of uneasy peace, given its hostile borders and national security can no longer be seen from a single Service perspective, says Air Marshal Diptendu Choudhary (Retd), former Commandant of National Defence College. Speaking to StratNews Global Editor-in-Chief Nitin A. Gokhale on ‘The Gist’, he said 1971 war was the only time India resorted to unfettered use of air power, adding that combat capacity needs to be expanded. Tune in for more.

Incredible insight. Thanks to StratNewsGlobal, we now learn that the US had to move key assets from Guam to Main Land USA. Great to learn that IAF has been busy with Space Defence for many years. Jai Hindh. Bharath Matha Ki Jai.

Let me admit, other than the speech issue, your content itself and guest quality is excellent.

The Russian airforce despite being d 3rd largest in the world is unable to deploy their airforce agst Ukr ... Why?? Such situations provide d iaf a good learning value to make one's strategy to control of the air...

Hey Nitin, c'mon man, you need to hear yourself speak and compare your speech pattern with almost anybody else's above Gr 5 level. Why can't you let your words flow evenly, smoothly and constantly, instead of staccato style, halting every 2 seconds and restarting with an "aah" sound?
It's truly distracting and irritating. I would suggest you stand in front of a mirror, switch on a recorder and just speak non stop every day till you improve.

Have been listening to Nitin Gokhale for some time. Never got distracted and far from irritated. Good content, sound opinions, no sensationalisation, very factual, very good resource persons too. Who cares about speech patterns etc! This is not some entertainment channel.
