  • Aatmnirbhar Bharat cannot come at the cost of the nation's defence. The nation's defence comes first and foremost, and if Indian forces are to benefit from Aatmnirbhar Bharat, it is only possible if everyone-from DRDO to DPSU to the private industry-works together and ensures we stay on the right path.

Do not buy defense equipments from Lotus Machine tools pvt ltd Chandigarh India. Their products are very very low quality. They are with other names: Lotus Defense and aerospace, Security Equipments, Future Technologies. RK Gupta(Father), Amit Gupta(Son)

You cant have a independent and effective military without a atmanirbhar economy. British colonial dominance over world economy was result of its naval prowess which protected british economic interests. USA's military-industry complex works in similar fashion. State sponsored military protects american businesses at all costs. They would not be able to do so if they had to import their military equipments from others countries. Any business starts slow. India arms industry just started to take shape. Chinese were made fun of bad quality of their products when they started to make smartphones and other electronics. Now, they are in close competition with USA in both production and R&D. Quality of their product improved with time. Atmanirbhar bharat is fundamental requirement for an effective military. Didnt expect this kind of shortsightedness from military commander.

The slow development of tejas is a joke. It took HAL 30 years to produce only 30 units as of now.
But the South Korea who started it fighter program very much later had produced over 200 units and managed to export it to some customers.
Indian government should privatise weapons production to private companies to speed the deliveries to army

When will Tejas finally be ready? Any idea? Any longer than 2026, it will be obsolete.

Sir you are right but please once take example from Indian 🇮🇳Navy⚓️ too they are getting least budget💰 than both army and air force but they are far more visionary in modernisation😎 and Aatmanirbharta policies🤟 than Both Indian Army 🪖and Airforce😏.Many will say Indian 🇮🇳 Navy⚓️ has low personnel yes but the equipments they are using are far superior and costlier💰 than both army and airforce still they are 💯 % giving positive outcomes in Atmanirbharta in defence without the cost of national interest 🇮🇳 so we want same results from both Army and Airforce🤟 especially from Airforce which is far worst in both modernisation and self reliance😒.

You r right in navy almost all ships are manufactured in india where as in airforce leaving tejas and sukhoi no fighter are built in india.

@@TheJohn222222 well airforce has received many technology transfer russia take the case of sukhoi. It's just not the case of technology transfer also. Airforce has always gone foreign equipment whereas navy due to crunch in budget was forced to get indeginious components.

Absolutely correct. There is only one winner in war, just
Like car racing . You require the best and fastest car. Cannot win a car race with a normal home grown car.. IT HAS TO BE AS GOOD AS THE ADVERSARIES CAR. For national defence this comparison is best carried out by users ie armed forces and not by scientists or arm chair analysts.

but unlike car race , during war you cannot trust the so called foreign countries to provide you with tools for maintenance haven't you seen what is happening in Ukraine just because Trump says will stop defence export if elected?

Hope you practice utmost restraint while talking about a person who spent his life in defense. He made it clear that we can not depend on import or on outsiders for our defense.
