- Top Gear is my favorite show of all time. I watched it more than any other show...... but New Top Gear SUCKS!!! Jeremy left, and BBC destroyed the show. This is a rant. If you dont like rants, dont watch this video. Enjoy, and SUBSCRIBE TODAY!!!!
I agree, Top Gear is now ruined. Matt LeDouche and that other guy are shit. Really pisses me off because it used to be my favorite thing on TV. I was watching an old episode from 2003 the other day and it was just light years smoother, everything about it. The narration, the articulate way they actually talked about the cars and their history, the humor, everything. Clarkson and the old crew were what made that show what it was. It's a shame they've turned it into a stupid clown show. They might as well call it something else because it isn't Top Gear. I mean seriously, Matt LeBlanc? From that horse shit sitcom Friends and some shrill hipster who owns a few Ferraris, that's the best they could do? It's total shit, I'm done watching it. Can't wait for the amazon show to come out this fall.
I'm with you. It's total Shit. And that Bobblehead looking douche Chris Evans looks so stupid with his black Boots and his jeans tucked into them. What a Nob. He isn't funny at all. There is no chemistry between the 2. They can hardly get the audience to laugh. The show stinks. Wait until the old crew's show comes on in the Fall. It will end up shutting this show down. BBC really ruined it..
Clarkson, Hammond, and James, were truly great. The Grand Tour, here we come!
I and my two boys were so disappointed, we thought a American accent did not go with the show. the chemistry was not there. BBC made a mistake getting rid of the three quintessential English three. Mr Clarkson Mr May & Mr Hammond .
For us Chris Evens is to Zany. Hope it gets better, we will watch a couple more, got to give it a chance, Briddy.
Watching new Top Gear is like watching a constipated Chihuahua having a bowel movement.
The good thing is, it makes American Top Gear more tolerable.
OH.. And the Original Stig? Was a professional F-1 Driver. If your a Diehard Fan you would know that.. At one time Michael Schumacher was one of the Stig's. Amongst of world class driver's. including a world class Rally Cross Champion...

I miss the old top gear too.. FUCKKKK the new top gear!!!!!!!!!!! even the American one is kinda lacking.
The American version is just as bad as this one. The only one that knows how to drive is Taylor Foust. He's a pro driver.
The first time I watched was American Top Gear with Adam, Tanner, Rutledge. Back i haven't realized I had BBC channel. Jeremy, James, Richard were the show the cars were secondary it was fantastic.
People here in the UK feel the same way ! but luckily Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond have a new show coming soon on Amazon Prime :) and some nice wheelies there dude (I'm shit at them myself) Subbed !
Agree with most of what you are saying but, Clarkson, Hammond and May were not really great drivers, they only person who was couldn't speak. With the new cast we have Sabine Schmitt and Chris Harris who are both great drivers, cant wait to see some shoot outs with them. Don't really care much for the rest of the new team but it is still a show about cars so will still be watching (we have the new Clarkson, Hammond and May show on Amazon to look forward too anyway) As far as old Top Gear goes (the one that's been going since before you where born) it didn't really need to be a success, it was more a consumer advice series, when it was rebranded, it was more about entertainment which is why it was so successful.
If i wanna watch good drivers/riders have a shoot out, I will watch MotoGP.
+Wicked Devil I mean shoot out as in which is the most fun car too drive, which slides around the best etc. Chris Harris is a great reviewer, watch a vid of his and I'm sure you will be convinced.
+quigonjay9 Then they should start a new show without the Top Gear name. Nobody can match Clarkson, He is legendary. I would rather watch re-runs of Clarkson than new Top Gear.
+quigonjay9 if you wanna watch great drivers.. go watch F1 or Nascar.. if u wanna watch car shows, go watch fifth gear and other car tv program.. but if you wanna watch top gear, Its Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May & Lord Stig..!!
I didn't even make it through last night's episode.
Such a shame. They should have remodelled the entire format of the show. Keeping almost everything the same stylistically except the presenters was a terrible idea. Should have been right back to the drawing board for it to have had a chance.
Would have been cool if they got Tim Allen, Jay Leno and someone else (I'll let you and the internet decide the 3rd) to have an American counter part to Top Gear/Grand Tour.
They have the knowledge, passion, humor and history. They are the only celebrities that seem the same kind of caliber as Clarkson, May and Hammond. They also have similar style of humor and that humble blue collar persona, which is rare in celebrities.
With Jeremy Clarkson and the team, they made that show an all rounder, the cars plus comedy, right now it just sucks but I wish Sabine and Chris Harris are brilliant with cars, those two should have been teamed up with Clarkson and the guys a long time ago.

I agree. Sabine is an awesome driver (and good looking). Matt is just a super nice guy, but I didnt watch Top Gear because the guys were great drivers or really nice guys...I watched old Top Gear because they were fun and wierd! I have watched about 20 min total of new Top Gear and its just not fun. Again, my respect to Sabine and Matt, its just not Top Gear.

I really loved top gear and now they have remade it it is just dead now with out Jeremy Clarkson. they have too many people presenting that show and they are just not as good now. There was a time where I would watch two episodes in a row. My cat could do a better job at presenting top gear.

So funny they thought they could succeed in top gear without the iconic trio. Just cancel the show no one likes top gear anymore.
The comments say it all.. The original Top Gear Team. Signed on with Amazon. And will have all the liberty to do whatever they want to make a great show. can't wait.. You might have to pay to watch. But that's because they will have the freedom to do what they want.. Without some loser Exec telling them otherwise.. Can't wait.
If I'm honest I watched the new top gear last night and I actually quite enjoyed it. I fully understand why people are disliking the new top gear but we've got to give it a chance in order for it to work otherwise they will probably stop it. Yes I know Chris Evans is obviously a bit of a nob but I can definitely see potential with this new top gear. I will enjoy watching that as a serious car show along side the grand tour which is more of a comedy car show😊
For that I respect your opinion my friend, I may be one of the people who think the new Top Gear is badly presented but I still think they could be saved in some ways. Chris Harris and Rory have potential, they work well despite them being in Extra Gear and Star in the Rallycross is new and innovative and has potential to be amazing as well. right now there is not much going for the show and I blame Chris Evans for that, he is trying to hard.

Top Gear is done, over, and the BBC takes no fault here, it all rests, the angry fans, lose of money, all of it leads to Clarkson.
+American Track Master TV Producers aren't usually bosses (that'd be the executive producers) - they just manage things - actually often they are lackeys to the stars. Still no excuse for hitting a fellow employee regardless of if he is the boss or not. Clarkson was stupid, he paid the price - he has apologised though.

chris evans, i cant understand that dude was on radio with that terrible through bone screeching voice of him, and i expected more from matt leblanc,nice that they have sabine schmidt only they shouldnt let her talk she really isnt funny. top gear wasnt all cars it had a bit of british sillyness that was fun, got lost in these new series. Top Gear is ruined
