Even if you eat only good vegetables and fruits, people might still end up with weight gain, diabetes, inflammation etc. Amura helps in finding out which of those foods is actually causing that inflammation and gives you the knowledge to avoid it. For Vidya Balan it's Milk and Palak. For one of my friend it's Urad Dhal (Ulundhu), for the other one it is curd and for someone else it was Toor Dhal (Thuvarai) ... Even if you avoid processed foods and eat inflammatory foods that has only vegetables and fruits cooked at home you will still end up with inflammation. It's better to figure which one is causing it and avoid it. Amura helps in that regard.

Doctor, we can't say its gimmick, what vidya Balan said is true. People should know specifically what to eat and what not to eat. Im also suffering from inflammation in the body and its very bad, I get lot of body aches and pains and for that I need to particularly avoid certain foods like legumes, dal, potatoes and maida. I was taking all this in small quantities since I didn't know, so it was not helping me at all. But by completely avoiding those items and adding more of omega 3 in my diet, I am feeling lot more better. So It is important for us to know which are the foods to avoid in particular and which to include, that's where we are lacking. And It is also important to follow a strict anti inflammatory diet to reduce inflammation in the body and that is what vidya Balan had followed. Later detox diet they will ask you to take 800 calories only with very few veggies , egg white for another 2 weeks And after that only reintroction phase , we will be adding one by one item from our regular food habits...but we have to stick to 800 cal.. Functional medicine dr will be there and provide you with lot of suppliments as we r talking much less cal In 2 months I have come down from 86 to 72.. but beyond that it's very difficult for me and I quit... No exercise because you won't be having energy to do it..
