I appreciate Marvel attempting to create the Kang Council. The Loki tease I liked. The other? It was silly, and reminded me of Big Trouble In Little China. Immortus looked like Lopan and Rama Tut looked like a 10 year old at Halloween.
Or maybe when Scott knocked Kang into the machine, this split Kang into variants across time and space, not only making things worse, but ultimately being the point where all of these Kangs were created from in the first place.
with Kang’s implication that the Dynasty enjoys hopping around to make alternate timelines, does that mean when He Who Remains was somewhat containing the Dynasty (probably some reverse horucrux-type method) and his death restarted the Dynasty conflict again? Would have a large impact since we see that sprawling branch in Loki
I am guessing you didn't watch the loki show because im pretty sure that is literally what they said he was doing and his entire purpose for doing it ( to stop the other kangs )
I think the scene with the three Kangs was about them finding out that Loki/Sylvie killed He Who Remains. The shot of the multiversal mess that was made looks like the same shot from the ending of Loki.
I was absolutely terrified of Kang yet wanted to hear what he had to say. This movie had the first fight in FOREVER where I wasn't sure who would make it out or how it would end.
Yeah and especially after Scott said “I don’t have to win. I just have to make sure we both lose” or smth along those lines and that’s where I especially got concerned
Totally agree, after watching ant-man I’m convinced he who remains & kang are one and the same. He told us in Loki he went by different names, conquerer being one of them. He played out the end numerous times & nothing worked except for the TVA, kang himself says he wants to skip to the end, like being at the end of time citadel.
I can see that. It be cool twist. But, He Who Remains, didn’t have scars. At least I don’t recall it. Then again, he could’ve evolved with how old he is.
@@jayw3512 He can literally time travel, prune entire timelines and tame a giant smok monster. Also he's from the 31st century, I'm pretty sure he can get rid of scars if he wants.
This is definitely how Kang becomes the Beyonder. Was probably shrunk down small enough to even slip through the fabric of the quantum realm. Beyond verse is well, beyond that.
This is definitely "He Who Remains". Where ever he ends up, he will find Goliath over there and then his reign on the TVA and hence the multiverse will begin. He conquers all and that's how Kang the conqueror becomes He Who Remains
I have a theory that the Kang we saw in Quantumania is the same one as the one from the end of Loki, and we are watching Kang’s story out of chronological order, because he doesn’t follow time linearly. Sort of like Eric Bana’s character in The Time Traveler’s Wife. Or Guy Pierce in Memento. And then when the Multiverse Saga ends, we can set up a different order in which to watch the movies, which will follow Kang’s pov of the sequence of events. I also think the TVA is in that city of his, since it exists outside space and time (which is why the Infinity Stones don’t work there). My guess is that within the movies of these next phases he’ll show up again and again to gather the tools he needs to weaponize Alioth. But maybe in the next one he’ll be almost ready and then in the next still starting, since we may first see him further along and then later see him earlier (lol).
I agree with the first half of your statement but like the other guy above said. He was trapped there. TVA could go literally anywhere. But I feel like if he would a succeeded then he would a turned into he who remains eventually
This is my theory too to add somepoints During the backstory we can see he is also destroying the branching timelines Pruning is sort of same as destroying and also he is the one against all the council memebers so if he burn them out of time(as said in the movie ) he will ends up as he who remains (i think he is so egoistic that he will name himself that and this would add more significance to his name like the only kang that remains)
@@deadpool1746 maybe when he got killed by the time core he actually got sent to where the TVA exists and that’s when he starts the TVA. At the end of Loki we see the statue is of Kang
When we left the movies a friend said they didn't understand why Loki was terrified of the Kangs. I told him I believe when Loki saw the infinity stones being used as paper weights by the TVA it had really had an impact on him and his thoughts of what Power is. And with a Kang being the head of the TVA, his power could not be denied.
My favorite MCU post credit scenes. I was so exited to see this. I loved the movie. Not perfect. But this movie definitely made me overly hype about Kang showing up more. Definitely a great start to phase 5.
Am I the only one who is impressed with Kang for that final fight? He didn’t have his suit’s power any more but he destroyed antman before hope showed up.
Yeah, this is my biggest issue with Scott’s suit. This is the third solo Ant-man movie, why the hell does he not have blasters and wings already. Ants fly and have venomous bites as well. I know they want to keep the characters unique but there is no actual reason everyone with a Pym-tech suit shouldn’t be able to do all the same things as it’s a force multiplayer. Paige should most definitely have them as they are already separating along gender lines. Just imagine the three of them giant sized in the last battle from the beginning with blasters. Kang has no chance. I mean they can still have their specialties within Pym-tech. Like Hope can’t get quite as big as Scott, Scott will never be a better fighter or flyer than Hope. But they should all have the best version of the suit, which includes flight and blasters. Sorry for rant
but if Kang is supposedly strong enough to kill Thor and not even remember his name why is this even a close fight? he should flick Antman away effortlessly. power scaling makes no sense
This is what I predicted would happen, mostly. I thought Scott and Hope would be trapped in the Realm, but they’d beat Kang somehow. I also thought this Kang was trapped because he’s really bad. I also said Kang’s haven’t fought 616 yet. This is gonna be fun ride!
I’m glad you mentioned Quantumania’s Kang and he who remains being the same person. I thought that and then felt solid about it when in the movie Kang holds up the hologram of the one timeline in a circle saying, “he knows how this ends” in addition to quoting he who remains by saying his variants are worse than him. Plus it would make sense the council of kangs who love to branch timelines would exile the one Kang who wants to create a solid timeline that “prunes” branching timelines.
The credits did the movie and, more importantly, the Multiverse the most justice... looking forward to the next few movies... wanna see how they link everything together to Kang Dynasty
I know what you mean. I knew about those three Kang Variants long ago. A shame I can't remember their names off the top of my head, though. Update: I looked them up: the Egyptian Variant was Amun-Tut (his real name), the cyborg one was Scarlet Sentinel (I think) and the one who looked like Ayam Aghoul and sounded like he hadn't swallowed in 100 years was Immortus.
The Kang from the movie was sucked into a realm BEYOND even the quantum realm, and became...a Beyonder. He'll be the force that the heroes have to reckon with in SECRET WARS
i loved your theory about He Who Remains = Ant-man's Kang. Their goals are very similar. And I can see that after destroying other Kang variants he wants to 'retire' and making sure that his mission didn't go to waste, hence he become HWR. Amazing!
KANG is basically Majors. They are one. Its truly scary how he modeled Kang to his own Image .I don't care about antman and his pathetic family . Its all about Kang from when he entered in Loki
Starting to sound like the Kang in the film we saw Kang prime. He wasn't killed ,but instead shrunk along with the energy source for his time travel ship. I feel like he'll return, and partner with some other Kangs to go against the council.
That's a very interesting and good theory but I don't think he'd team up with any of his variants. Remember in the mid credit scene when asked how many Kangs one of the Kang's brought to the council he said "all of them" so that means there's no Kang variant that would team up with the Kang in the quantum realm
@@yanceysemein1998 I was just thinking that too. Wherever he was sent to will probably result in him gaining the abilities of the Beyonders (which he will explain in a flashback), he will probably take over the Kang Dynasty by killing off the three main variants we saw in the post credits scene, and boom! There's your main antagonist for Secret Wars.
I think they imprisoned him instead of killing him possibly because he is Kang Prime. Maybe killing him would affect the variants in some way whether it be erasing them entirely or just negatively affecting their rule.
Dude, the end of the movie is so scary and threatening. We didn’t even have to have something happen, Scott is the Tony of the phases (in which I mean he knows that something bad is coming but he doesn’t think to put a suit of armor around the world). Excited to see how it’s all going to go down!!
A&W Quantamania was great....fun and helped followers/fans of the mcu understand who Kang is and what threat he poses to not only the heroes but to every character ever portrayed....and to any time we got to know them! I loved hoe empathetic Kang can be but not sympathetic....he only helps people as long as it doesn't divert too much to his goals..lol...(I didn't get why he betrayed ant-man). Also I agree with the theory that Kang the Conqueror isn't truly dead...(he's trapped in that probability storm..which will make him more deranged the longer he's in it with all his possibilities) also Kang the Conqueror is he who remains (the mental instability plus he states he was called a Conqueror..and that is what the freedom fighters call him in the movie). Also movie revealed some Kang's weaknesses.. his reliance on technology and being alone. MARVEL WOULDN'T KILL HIM OFF IN HIS FIRST MOVIE ..NO WAY Can't wait to see Avengers Kang Dynasty... Kang was fearsome..I loved how the army retreated because of how powerful he was in battle....
He who remains was a different Kang, he wanted to stop the Incortions happening. The other Kang was puy in the quantum realm as punishment as he basically wants to conquer all
They want everyone film to be like infinity war and endgame film every film lol. Where building back up again too the big climaxes nd infinity war level
The machine Victor Timely has on stage looks a lot like the portal Loki used to come to Earth in the first Avengers. And somewhat like the portal he put on Stark Tower... Kang's power blasts also look a lot like space stone energy Hydra used in the first Captain America.
Thanks for getting to that at the end. I'm also on the "He who remains is a future version of Kang the Conquerer" theory. Their monologues in Loki and this movie were basically the same, and in my eyes, with how he said, "Conquerer..." in the last episode of Loki, it feels like a self-deprecating joke about how he used to be.
I think the one thing we learned from Loki is that time is happening at all times. There is no true present, except for maybe places outside time. This is how variants keep popping up throughout time. Because of this, it is possible to have a different outcome to the multiversal war than before. If it was predetermined that he who remains always wins he wouldn't need his gambit with Loki.
Me watching Loki in 2021: This He Who Remains guy is insane. He wears such a weird robe, and doesn't even care that Slyvie kills him. Me after the post credit scenes: omg He Who Remains was the sane one all along
This movie is a perfect example of how nothing is good enough for today's critics and social media in general it's a fun entertaining movie yet it's being torn to shreds
I thought Kang referenced HWR indirectly when he showed how afraid he was of that circular timeline display he predicted before he got interrupted. This Kang is likely not dead but has learned that the Avengers are useful tools and will use that to dominate the rest. He has the motivation and the inspiration the others do not
The fact that Kang killed Thor before and didn’t know if Scott was Thor is crazy. For the fact that he killed Thor , the fact that Thor looked like someone else, and the fact that Antman is stronger than Thor since he killed Kang 😎
No lmao ant man needed wasp and stature and an army of ants to stop 1 variant. It doesn’t explain if he fought Thor alone or had him at a disadvantage. Kang probably murderer avengers again and again and Thor more times than once
Impressed with Jonathan Majors for sure. His acting is top notch and this role is perfect for him. He can play so many versions of the same guy and he’s capable of it.. the way he goes from soft and trustworthy to menacing in a moment is wild
Rama Tut will be the Villain of Fantastic 4 movie that would be a good connection to The Avengers 5 because after Rama Tut defeated by Fantastic 4 he went to future and become The Scarlet centurion that's why we don't see a scarlet centurion in the Council of Kang
12:08 In all fairness, most of Kang's badassness comes from his vastly superior tech, which had been wrecked when his fortress fell. But it's not like he was helpless, he still was putting a good whoopin' on Scott.
Kang is TERRIFYING and I am SO EXCITED to see where this goes. I felt, too, that Kang the Conqueror is not actually gone. Also Ryan, the one hair strand hanging on your forehead is giving 1950s, Grease realness and I give it an A+
@Havoksdeadly in the comics it's said that Kang is a descendant of Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic. But a theory is going around that Kang might be a descendant of Tony Stark because Tony invented time travel. They may have changed his origins for the MCU
In the Comics, Every lose of Kang was on purpose, It is part of his plan to conquer Earth so people don't get mad at Kang Losing yet cause this is part of his plan.
Majors role was outstanding. This guy really brings the villain to life, and a complex one for that matter. He means to save but also to conquer so we get the same dichotomy that we got with Thanos but in a far more elaborate character.
There is one possibility for the variant of Kang's fate from Quantumania: he did die, but we will still see an earlier version of him in later movies. Time is fluid in these stories now, so just because we see an event happen in one character's timeline doesn't mean every other character they're interacting with has followed the same path.
I enjoyed watching the film. I did have some things I didn’t like but at the end of the day it was fun and honestly that’s all I cared about. Kang is one of my favorites and Majors absolutely crushed it. The Council of Kangs is something I never thought I’d see live action and I loved seeing it.
This was a great movie! It had nice action, laughed a lot and the worldbuilding was amazing! Definitly makes me excited for the future of the MCU! Ant man 3 gets a solid 8 in my book
Not gonna lie, I really loved how Kang was portrayed in the movie. - My Theory is, he didn’t die. But simply was transported to a place where he’ll find the Goliath, therefore, has the ultimate weapon to wipe his variant out of existence and become “He Who Remains”. But he’s entry is definitely gonna be epic.
Have we thought that maybe Kang wanted to be defeated by Antman and Wasp? He basically knows what's going to happen so being defeated was just part of his plan. Think Tom Cruise in Edge of Tomorrow. Reliving alternate timelines in order to get his revenge. Also remember as someone who controls time he's the master of the waiting game.
Awe inspiring explanation in this video analysis. Kang the conqueror by far my favorite villain. He still has quite a bit to do in order to pass Thanos in the Mad Titan. His performance was beyond my expectations. I love it!!! Can’t wait to see what happens next!!!
In Loki in the citadel with 3 statues & 1 broken statue, could it be the broken one is Kang The Conqueror & the other 3 are Immortus , Scarlet Centurion & Rama-Tut ?
Fun fact it took me until the final title card after the credits for me to realize the words "ant man" are actually in the word "quANTuMANia" 😭 I've been wondering why it was called that for years lmao
Perfect third film for the franchise. Filled with funny call backs like Hank saying “I would have just broken her out with ants” they handled Modok well and tho im sad he didn’t make it out of the movie they completed his character arc pretty well. Jonothan Majors is an acting machine. He had me convinced that this Kang was a completely different character. The introduction of the council was exhilarating. I can’t wait to see how they attack the 616.
Guess there’s a good chance they’re keeping Kang’s comic origin as a descendant of Reed Richards. When Kangs pop in the arena, they do so using similar teleport tech as Reed
I saw the movie today along with some family members and we enjoyed it from start to finish as well as the ending credits. Jonathan Majors was great as Kang and I'm looking forward to seeing what else he does in this phase 5 of Marvel.
Pretty enjoyable movie that both my son and wife liked too. MCU had been pushing them away. So I’m glad this one came through. Not getting why it’s been panned by the critics. Post credits? I can see that being a tough concept to accept. The film proper was fun, moved at good pace and was pretty cool to watch in 3D. Would be up for checking it out again in a few weeks.
I think the end of time that Kang saw was the Great Multiversal War shown by Miss Minutes in Loki. Before the events of that show, He Who Remains was the only variant of Nathaniel Richards alive because the TVA pruned any timelines that could create another. After Sylvie killed him, the Kang that Scott fights and the whole council of Kangs are born across the multiverse. We're watching the events that He Who Remains managed to prevent for awhile: Kang the Conqueror, who was doing the same thing as the TVA except killing timelines himself instead of pruning, dying which allowing the counsel of Kangs to grow, eventually have serious internal conflicts, and go to war with eachother, destroying everything.
Biggest plot hole I noticed was Kang straight up DELETING people in the final battle, only to use blasts that knock the heroes away instead. Like why not delete them? At least Cassie.
I just saw this with my son, he explained the mustached variant and I wanted to see if his explanation jived with his :). Okay, just finished this clip, looking forward to your further Kang explanation. My son also said Victor Timely was the one who made the original Human Torch, and a suit was in Captain America First Avenger of that original Human Torch suit
15:07 - Did anyone notice that he who remains showed us the mustache Kang version in his presentation about the multiverse war? The same version Loki and Morbius chasing in the post kredit scene.
I don't think Kang and He Who Remains are the same. I think they're opposites, a sort of 'sun and moon' shining on the multiverse in an endless circle. Now that He Who Remains is dead, the sun has set and the moon is rising. After Kang is defeated, the sun rises and He Who Remains is back. I think Kang knows this and his ultimate goal each cycle is to kill the one threat: He Who Remains.
THIS was a good breakdown. Some other review/breakdowns ive seen are ludicrously bad at understanding how a good story is written and set up. I like your theories and agree with them. Thank you! I look forward to watching more of your vids on our way through the rest of Phases 5 and 6.
The Kang that was the main villain of this film was He Who Remains, who said at the end of Loki that if he died, it would all start over again and he’d end up right back where he was, having won the multiversal war. That’s why that Kang was destroying universes and talking about doing what he had to do. He had to stop the more powerful and evil Kangs and those universes contained them. But since ant man killed he who remains, he isn’t there to win the war, which means somebody (the avengers) have to stop the rest of the kangs instead.
I didn't get to see the post credit, but I love the ending. Everything is great, and then he starts doubting whether he defeated Kang. Edit: I remembered in the beginning of your video that Janet touched his ship. He asked her what she saw. She saw a conqueror, so he said, "Then that's what I am." Think about this. How would He Who Remains create the sacred timeline to begin with? He would have to prune all the timelines, correct? Then it's understandable why Janet saw his future as a conqueror.
didnt they already said that Kang the conqueror and he who remains arent the same? They both had the same objective,But he who remain stayed in the shadow, meanwhile kang the conqueror wanted to be known. That is why at the end of loki, you don’t see the three alien statue, but kang.
These post credits overshadowed whole phase 4 🤯🔥💯❤️😵.They were so insane in the theatre that everyone was shouting like they are going to hell🤯.I lost my control by watching this post credits too 😵😵.
Hey Ryan. Great video. I have this theory, hear me out. The TVA, the void and that stadium/castle all exist in a place called The Nexus of time (shown in the 90’s X-men animated series) the 3 main Kangs exiled (instead of kill) the conqueror to avoid having him come back from a different time. Instead they sent him to “A place outside time and space” where he would not be able to come back from. Also, I highly suspect that Victor Timely, Kang the Conqueror and ‘He Who Remains’ are the exact same person (Kang Prime) seen at different moments in time. I bet on it for a prediction!

Yeah and especially after Scott said “I don’t have to win. I just have to make sure we both lose” or smth along those lines and that’s where I especially got concerned
Facts
I was curious too, first time in awhile
I remembered someone said that this movie set up all of phase 5 and I knew kang would survive but I didn’t know if Scott or wasp would
Totally agree, after watching ant-man I’m convinced he who remains & kang are one and the same.
@@stevendchu the scars are for us to tell which one it is. They matter
@@jayw3512 he doesnt have them
Their personalities are so different, I don’t really see it
I think this is what Kang planned from the beginning- he did tell Scott “I know how it all ends”
It was all part of the plan
You guys have fantastic punctuality. Literally in the theatre waiting for the second end credits scene and your video is ready and queued
Nothing like that feeling after finally watching the movie in theaters and now being able to binge all the screen crush videos about it
This is definitely how Kang becomes the Beyonder. Was probably shrunk down small enough to even slip through the fabric of the quantum realm. Beyond verse is well, beyond that.
Damn. Good prediction.
That's a cool theory.
Nice theory!! Thats what i was thinking too
This is definitely "He Who Remains". Where ever he ends up, he will find Goliath over there and then his reign on the TVA and hence the multiverse will begin. He conquers all and that's how Kang the conqueror becomes He Who Remains
The epilogue scenes of Scott strolling around felt like a Wandavision episode
Felt more like She-Hulk cause he was questioning himself with the Audience
I loved how they tied that in at the end!
"See you soon."
Its not. Quantumania kang is trapped in the quantum realm, and the tva exists outside of it. Plus the oufits different
I agree with the first half of your statement but like the other guy above said. He was trapped there. TVA could go literally anywhere. But I feel like if he would a succeeded then he would a turned into he who remains eventually
This is my theory too
to add somepoints
During the backstory we can see he is also destroying the branching timelines
Pruning is sort of same as destroying and also he is the one against all the council memebers
so if he burn them out of time(as said in the movie ) he will ends up as he who remains (i think he is so egoistic that he will name himself that and this would add more significance to his name like the only kang that remains)
🤣
I completely agree... I am already so hyped for future MCU..
Loved this movie
Am I the only one who is impressed with Kang for that final fight? He didn’t have his suit’s power any more but he destroyed antman before hope showed up.
Yeah. I felt the same way. Kang showed he is very skilled in hand to hand combat, and also showed that Ant-Man is unfortunately not.
and he's swole 😂
Antman is weak asf. Only black window and Hawkeye are worse.
but if Kang is supposedly strong enough to kill Thor and not even remember his name why is this even a close fight? he should flick Antman away effortlessly. power scaling makes no sense

A duh
@@taylorstewart9479 lol exactly
He even says in Loki that he has been called the conquerer
The credits did the movie and, more importantly, the Multiverse the most justice... looking forward to the next few movies... wanna see how they link everything together to Kang Dynasty
I know what you mean. I knew about those three Kang Variants long ago. A shame I can't remember their names off the top of my head, though.
Update: I looked them up: the Egyptian Variant was Amun-Tut (his real name), the cyborg one was Scarlet Sentinel (I think) and the one who looked like Ayam Aghoul and sounded like he hadn't swallowed in 100 years was Immortus.
@@PrinceoftheAbyss prince of adding nothing 😂
@@thehangingfilms Oh yeah? Well, take a look at my updated comment, then go hang with your films. Yeah, I can play this game, too, bud!
Amazing!
Jonathan Majors is absolutely killing it, such a smoldering, menacing performance.
I have the best theory that the kang we watched in the film will return ass the beyonder
@@yanceysemein1998 yea that was leaked
@@yanceysemein1998 I was just thinking that too. Wherever he was sent to will probably result in him gaining the abilities of the Beyonders (which he will explain in a flashback), he will probably take over the Kang Dynasty by killing off the three main variants we saw in the post credits scene, and boom! There's your main antagonist for Secret Wars.
Isn't Victor Timely known as Prime Kang?
I think they imprisoned him instead of killing him possibly because he is Kang Prime. Maybe killing him would affect the variants in some way whether it be erasing them entirely or just negatively affecting their rule.
Dude, the end of the movie is so scary and threatening. We didn’t even have to have something happen, Scott is the Tony of the phases (in which I mean he knows that something bad is coming but he doesn’t think to put a suit of armor around the world). Excited to see how it’s all going to go down!!
Agree!!! Tony was “worried” about Thanos in the Infinity Saga. Now (currently), Loki is “worried” about Kang. The character arcs are wild!!!
MARVEL WOULDN'T KILL HIM OFF IN HIS FIRST MOVIE ..NO WAY
Can't wait to see Avengers Kang Dynasty...
Kang was fearsome..I loved how the army retreated because of how powerful he was in battle....
He who remains was a different Kang, he wanted to stop the Incortions happening. The other Kang was puy in the quantum realm as punishment as he basically wants to conquer all
Really had a great time with this one. I don’t get why critics are split on this one. 🤷🏼♂️
They want everyone film to be like infinity war and endgame film every film lol. Where building back up again too the big climaxes nd infinity war level
me too. I enjoyed Kang being played in detail instead of in passing . Majors made me a Kang fan. Evil or not. Thats my boy.
Ayo!!! Rama Tut being the villain in fantastic four would be so COOL
The Conqueror was so strong, he broke Ant-Man's helmet like it was nothing
What did you think of the movie?
It is good, but not as expected.
I thought it was out tomorow

I thought Kang referenced HWR indirectly when he showed how afraid he was of that circular timeline display he predicted before he got interrupted. This Kang is likely not dead but has learned that the Avengers are useful tools and will use that to dominate the rest. He has the motivation and the inspiration the others do not
The fact that Kang killed Thor before and didn’t know if Scott was Thor is crazy. For the fact that he killed Thor , the fact that Thor looked like someone else, and the fact that Antman is stronger than Thor since he killed Kang 😎
He knows who he is. I’m pretty sure he was pulling his leg since in the next scene he calls him antman
But is Kang dead...
Thor is a Male. So he could not kill Kang in the M She U. It was the Wasp who came in rescued Ant Man and shot Kang into that vortex.
@@themeparkamusement2214 it really ain't that deep lol
No lmao ant man needed wasp and stature and an army of ants to stop 1 variant. It doesn’t explain if he fought Thor alone or had him at a disadvantage. Kang probably murderer avengers again and again and Thor more times than once
Impressed with Jonathan Majors for sure. His acting is top notch and this role is perfect for him. He can play so many versions of the same guy and he’s capable of it.. the way he goes from soft and trustworthy to menacing in a moment is wild
I hope Rama- tut makes an appearance in season 2 moonknight.
Rama Tut will be the Villain of Fantastic 4 movie that would be a good connection to The Avengers 5 because after Rama Tut defeated by Fantastic 4 he went to future and become The Scarlet centurion that's why we don't see a scarlet centurion in the Council of Kang
@@juliuscastillon9554 Scarlet Centurion is apart of the Council of Kang, MCU is likely changing his suit
12:08 In all fairness, most of Kang's badassness comes from his vastly superior tech, which had been wrecked when his fortress fell. But it's not like he was helpless, he still was putting a good whoopin' on Scott.

I had the same thought about Kang the Conquerer and He Who Remains, excited to see your video breakdown exploring that.
So like the four statues at the Citadel were of Immortas, Rama-Tut, Scarlet Centurian and the exile, Kang Prime as the broken one?
My thoughts too.
Kang is TERRIFYING and I am SO EXCITED to see where this goes. I felt, too, that Kang the Conqueror is not actually gone. Also Ryan, the one hair strand hanging on your forehead is giving 1950s, Grease realness and I give it an A+
Kinda hoping for a rdj variant of Kang that would be epic
It would be cool but how would that work? Genuinely asking not trying to be rude
IRON MAN is just a designer. KANG is an inventor.
@Havoksdeadly in the comics it's said that Kang is a descendant of Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic. But a theory is going around that Kang might be a descendant of Tony Stark because Tony invented time travel. They may have changed his origins for the MCU
@@musicpatron1693 What? Tony Invented the Iron Man suit plus many of the weapons he created before he became Iron Man?
@@hamsterrwrld6767 he designed weapons..he didn't invent them.

What aspects you didnt like?
I FREAKING LOVE ANTMAN 3...will see it again.
Just saw the movie and I really enjoyed it. I think the movie did a great job introducing Kang and his motivations
My absolute favorite marvel discussions. Thanks Ryan! You do so much more than just recap what happened.
Just left the film and I was happy with the results! I can tell that Im gonna enjoy this Saga
Interesting
What a fantastic job of recapping the Kang story line. I will save this video as a reference to share with others to explain "what's going on".
Kang the Conqueror is not the same version of "He who remains". The personalities are different. Also they already admitted to it in pre-screening.
I saw the movie today along with some family members and we enjoyed it from start to finish as well as the ending credits. Jonathan Majors was great as Kang and I'm looking forward to seeing what else he does in this phase 5 of Marvel.
This was such a fun movie!!!! I loved this more than the previous two ant mans! And Jonathan majors is excellent as kang, gave me chills!
Jonathan Majors looks as if he'll be the best villain yet in the MCU. He absolutely bodied this role!
Kang is a great villain. I can’t wait to see him in the future.
Or the past........oooooooohhhhhhh!!!!!! Mind blown.
The Pym particle circle that Scott threw against the core (that didn’t stick,) is probably Kang’s way out of there
I really want Niell DeGrass Tyson to cameo as a Kang variant.
This feels like one of those mcu movies we look back on come phase 6 that had HUGE ramifications and set up so many threads
Pretty good pilot episode for Phase 5
Biggest plot hole I noticed was Kang straight up DELETING people in the final battle, only to use blasts that knock the heroes away instead. Like why not delete them? At least Cassie.
I noticed that too
Don't you hate plot armor lol
As others have said, I agree this is the Kang that becomes he who remains. I think it's pretty obvious, they both say they have the same goal.
This Kang is Kang The Exiled. Not Kang The Conqueror. The one in this movie died.
It's a dope idea that we will see a different version of Kang and Jonathan Majors each appearance

I just saw this. Holy crap, it's fantastic!
That moment when you realise we're not talking about superhero movies, but the fabric of our own capacity to understand reality as we know it.
I had the same theory about Kang and He Who Remains. My friend and I were arguing for 30 minutes after the movie about this.
This is gonna be a good phase

I loved all that you said in this video and really hope that this the direction they go with Kang. Jonathan Majors did a great job with Kang.
THIS was a good breakdown. Some other review/breakdowns ive seen are ludicrously bad at understanding how a good story is written and set up.
I like your theories and agree with them.
Thank you! I look forward to watching more of your vids on our way through the rest of Phases 5 and 6.
I hate how Kang's powers went from invincible to weak. One minute he's using Darth Vader like force powers, next minute he's having to throw punches.
I hope Rama-Tut makes an appearance in season 2 of MOONKNIGHT.
One one the other is currently on a losing streak
