I think Logan takes place in a timeline created by the events of Days of Future Past. The wolverine of DFP and the Wolverine of Logan are both our Wolverine, one on a timeline where they won in DFP and one on a timeline where they lost in DFP

All the bad reviews for this movie had the unintended effect of me enjoying the film because my expectations were severely lowered and watched the film reluctantly.
The Binary outfit is amazing. The o.g. Binary was an X-men character version of Carol Danvers after Avengers Annual #10. A boss version of Carol Danvers that was a close friends with Logan before he was an X-men. Loved the Beast.

I think it's clear they are going to recon the multiverse into 3 segments. 1) magic based multiverse (doctor strange, wanda) 2) artifact based (10 rings, quantum bands) 3) technology based (Kang, antman) The secret wars battle will be between those who don't want multiverse (Kangs, other villains/aliens, potentially some x-men like how in spider verse Miguel is against the multiverse) and those who want it (Loki, avengers, etc). The key question in all of this is where do eternals / celestials fit into all of this. It's clear where but the set up for them is way to inconsistent
Has it been confirmed whether Eternals itself takes place in a different Universe? I know they mention the snap but I have to believe the giant Celestial poking out of the ground somewhere in the ocean would have at least been mentioned at some point

If only they hadn't mentioned the snap in Eternals, they could've "solved" that problem completely by showing a flash of them as one of the separate universes in Multiverse of Madness. All the questions around where were they during the Thanos stuff and why no one else in MCU sees the big hand in the planet just go away if they are their own universe.

Now that the MCU is bridging with the X-Men universe and paving the way to Secret Wars it's obvious that the possibilities are endless. Now I couldn't be more excited for Deadpool 3 next year.

I was hoping they used Days of Future Past to bring the Fox characters and if this is what they are doing I am so hyped, it can have some variations to that like using the comic accurate costumes but I am so hyped to see those characters interact with the MCU characters, like seeing Wolverine and Hulk together.
Would be weird if spiderman in highschool was an avenger and fought with the big leagues off world, then proceeds to be older and more experienced but grouped with young avengers.
I really doubt the universe Monica ends up in will be the DOFP ending universe. It's probably gonna be its own universe, disconnected of anything that came before it.
The last parts of the movie move from Kelly Sue deConnick storylines to Kelly Thompson storylines. Was this a handoff that future stories of these characters will follow those storylines?
If I have to choose, Days of Future Past - Rogue Edition, is my favorite Marvel movie. I don't feel the MCU folks get complex Marvel villains. In the first 30 seconds of the first X-Men movie, we got a more complex villain in Magneto than anyone in the MCU. First Class only enhanced that. The only complex MCU villain is really Zemo, and that was unexpected but cool. I still have a fantasy of Zemo morphing into Von Doom, and Sokovia into Latveria... I felt Zemo mention about a changing Sokovia in F&WS was a hint to that...
If the appropriate opportunity presents itself, I'd like to see the end of Logan implying a young mutants team to cross paths with the 616 Universe's Young Avengers.
Yup. Hopefully same can be said for 2024. Cap4 is delayed to 2025 so Deadpool 3 from Marvel and Joker 2 from DC. If Kraven and Venom 3 are good then that is a cherry on top

I feel like Im probably too easy to please. I went into this movie with extremely low expectations on my enjoyment of it. But I actually had fun with this, it has a lot of issues but If I can have fun in a movie sometimes thats all that matters to me.
People act like every little plot hole thing in literal superhero movies which is every superhero movie ever ruins their entire life. This was a fun movie that I came into with low expectations and got a great superhero movie experience that gave great character development, fun fight scenes, not too much humor but enough where it was enjoyable and set up a ton for the future!
I love how comic accurate beast looks in this. He looked amazing in the last stand obviously but there's something about his look here that's just even better. I think it's his tusks or the shape of his head/fur or something but he just looks perfect

CGI. Beast is full-CGI / mo-cap. That’s the only way to accurately translate certain comic book characters to live-action.
