#GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVolume3 #EndingExplained #PostCredits
Guardians of the galaxy vol 3 is out, and surprise!
No one died. Not Rocket. Not Drax. Hack, even the High Evolutionary is still alive
For a guy who likes killing off major characters in his movie, James Gunn sure went easy on us this time.
But even without major deaths, vol 3 was heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time. What an ending for an incredible trilogy.
So we have to explain the ending of vol 3, and where the movie leaves off the Guardians.
What happened to Rocket?
Doug: did he go to heaven? and did he go to heaven?
Well, we’re going to explain all of that, and also who is this He that Lylla spoke about and what plans does He have for Rocket Racoon.
Also, Groot talking now? How that happened and did vol 3 just went Deadpool on us?
And we also going to explain the two credit scenes, who are the new guardians, and whether is it really the last time we see some of the old guardians of the galaxy.
Alright, before we get to the ending, let’s start by explaining with what everyone wants to know. What in the hell happened to Rocket, and what was that place he went to when he died?
Is it heaven or another dimension, was it a simulation or was it all his head?
Alright, at the start of the movie, Adam Warlock attacks the guardians and injuries Rocket. The whole movie is about saving Rocket from death.
The guardians cannot heal him because of his unique cybernetics, which were created by the High Evolutionary.
Despite the guardians getting what they needed to crack the code for Rocket’s tech, they fail to save him.
He flatlines, and it appears like he actually dies.
Because Rocket finds himself in this bright white realm, that reminds me a lot of the scene when Gandalf returns to life.
And of course, this also looks very similar to the afterlife King's Cross Station from Harry Potter.
Well, let’s be honest, the afterlife in movies is always represented by some kind of white light.
Anyway, inside this afterlife place, Rocket meets his friends from the past, including Lylla.
Those friends are the other animals that were experimented on by High Evolutionary.
Rocket wants to go with them, essentially to die.
But Lylla tells him that it’s not his time to die yet, and he still has some things to do in the land of the living.
And then she adds that there might be an actual capital G god who has plans for Rocket, and everything that happened was part of the plan.
After this, Rocket comes back to life.
[take a deep breath]…. that’s a lot to digest. Never thought that a Guardians of the Galaxy movie will explore the afterlife let alone the guy in the sky.
So before we talk about what god

Holy shit! You totally fixed Groot's 'I love you guys" for me. I hated it at first thinking is was lame to let him speak proper English now, but us (the audience) understanding his language makes total sense. There are multiple set ups about people not understanding him as well as other translation related moments (like when Mantis doesn't understand the kids). It's even set up right before that scene when new Gomora also starts to understanding him.
***theory*** High evolutionary got his gravity powers from Gravitron from agents of shield.... Last we saw of him he was sent into space by daisy(quake)... We know the High Evolutionary dissects his subjects to learn their powers and or traits..... Make agents of shield canon..... What u think?
*_I expected you to explain the end scene, but you don't know either who Starlord is talking about, the "45 year old able bodied man"?_*
Or the High Evolutionary could of got his gravity battle suit from KANG at some point in time…the scene where he blows the mutiny up is too insane.
if I buy your expensive crap, can I call myself a Scottish Lord on my passport ? Or is this a different scam ?
I enjoyed the subtle nod to Rocket and Nebula relationship. They were the only ones that didn’t get dusted, it would make sense that they were so close. I’m happy they didn’t make it all emotional. They use her anger to show her urgency to save his life. Then when she heard his voice her reaction showed how stressed she was.
Yup when holding handed after her and Tony get back!!!!!
Them both being the only ones on the team to be experimented on so violently, definitely a silent solidarity between them too
That moment brought tears to my eyes.
Hearing/seeing her relief when she heard his voice is what made me start crying.
I walked out of GotG3 thinking Disney plus need to do a Rocket & Nebula The Blip Years show.
This is the first MCU movie that made me cry. What happened to Lylla, Floor and Teefs was so tragic. There were other, some quite tragic deaths in MCU but all of those characters did live normal or even quite accomplished and fullfilled lives. But those 3 lived in a cage their entire life, they heard the stories about the sky, talked about it like some mythical thing and as soon as they were able to leave their cage they were killed and never got to see the sky.
Shit was hurting me the whole movie. The way the HE grabbed rockets head with 2 hands like that swelled up such raw visceral anger in me. When i brush my doggos teeth I always say "show me your teeff!" It was rough man. But such a great movie.
Nothing was worse than Peter saying "Mr Stark, I don't feel well" in Infinity War. But I get your point
@@bac718 This didn't affect me that much because I knew Tom Holland had another movie coming after. So I knew he and other dusted people will come back in some way.
@@bac718 shit wasn’t sad at all, we all knew they were going to come back in the next movie
@@bac718 this was way worse than that
This was the best MCU movie since endgame. No cameos or gimmicks, just story and heart.
def agreed idk what was going on when they were making black widow and MoM
Personally not hyped for it at all. From leaks and from comments of people that have scene it its another film that doesn't actually matter in the grand scheme of things. Meaning Antman 3 is still the only thing post end game that truly matters.
@@jinuouslopez9069it didn't have an affect on the greater MCU, but it was still great. Also don't forget no way home & multiverse of madness literally involved the multiverse & are what caused the incursions, those were pretty important
@cristianrecinos1548 I'm going based on what fiege confirmed. Ant-Man is the first thing since end truly that truly matters to the saga it's in. And in both No way home and Strange 2 the multiverse was a gimmic. And I bring up the threat of incursion cause how it big a deal it was stated to be in strange 2. And until its said otherwise. Gamora 2014 shouldn't be able to exist in 2024 without the threat of incursion. Cause if it was written by he who remains that she'd stay (literally only way an incursion wouldn't happen) the whole movie should've havd a incursion as a major plot. If gamora was written to stay. Literally could've kept the scene of the core team(s) paying respect to Tony on the Battlefield. It was confirmed only major reason for it being cut outside of the funeral scene is cause gamora was there.
@@jinuouslopez9069 I could be wrong but Gamora being from a different timeline is different then being from a different universe so there’s no fear of incursion
Not going to lie: I teared up a lot in this movie for a variety of reasons: mistreatment of animals and children, abandonment and reunion issues, and knowing this film is something of a metaphor for growing up, getting over yourself and finding strength in empathy -the kind you can only understand as you get older but wish you knew when you were younger. It was a classy send-off. Music cues were spot-on, too. I'll see it again. Loved the first after credit scene and the next ostensible GotG line-up.
legit i never cried so much while watching a movie 😭 I literally cried in every flashback of rocket story 🥲
Yeah I agree, they did that very well. It is so difficult to deal with these kinds of emotions as there is not closure but yes! Amazing film
I did too
I can't forget when Rocket met the baby Raccoons and other "lower life form" that being experimented on. He took the raccoons and teared shakingly when he realize he will be leaving the rest to die. I love that the Guardians saved them all!❤
His first word broke me
Best vegan message, that was probably not intentional ever.
I fully believe Groot still says, "I am Groot" and we can now understand him. I think this is why we see that transition in Gamora - to explain what happens.
100%.
I thought Drax said it?
@@iloveabigailiris nope. That was groot 😁
The way Groot looked at Gamora when she finally understood him. He remembers her as his mom. Everyone only remembers Gamora as Quill's dead girlfriend. 💔
Drax also became a dancer. That got me right in the feels.
"You were never meant to be a destroyer, you were ment to be a father"
Drax the Desteroyer
Drax the Dad
Drax the Dancer
I loved the part where we finally understand Groot. It was subtlety stated that this is the case when just a scene before Gamora who couldn't understand him all movie finally did. We, like her had had enough exposure to Groot that we finally understand what he says. This was my favorite part of the whole movie.
Nebula had a lot of character growth in this movie. When she cried, that rocket was alive that was pretty hard hitting.
Huge loss of marvel to lose James Gunn, but he’s left us an amazing trilogy of films. I also believe the theory that groot is not talking, we just could understand him in that moment since we’ve gotten close to the team, they foreshadowed that with Gamora not understanding him but then at the end of the Film she understands him.
He helped shape mcu and has contributed so much but 75% wanted to hang em,NOW HE IS THE BEST THING SINCE SLICE BREAD!!!AFTER GUARDIANS,LIKE IT WAS GONNA SUCK??
yeah hes a weird guy but he's cool in my book. at least he makes movies that give you emotional reactions even if Adam Warlock is extremely poorly utilized
Only Marvel series that was consistently good. Probably because Gunn made sure they remained mostly self contained. No setup for other bullshit. Just movies.
I was hesitant about him taking over DC, but after this film I’m so ready to see what he can do. If he can bring this much heart to the guardians I can’t imagine what he can do with Superman and the league. I think they finally found their Fiege.
Easily the best trilogy of the MCU, and the only 3 for 3, IMO.
Loved the film. Really glad Mantis got a greater role this time.
I love that they really ALL had a necessary role in the success!
Best scene was the hallway scene
Yah she was awesome!!!100%
Does she learn Kung-fu like in the books?
@@themeanhornet1070 she uses some
I think in an interview James Gunn explained that the Groot talking is basically giving the audience the perspective of being able to understanding what he is saying. Which is why the others did not react when Groot in a way talked cause for them he still says "I am Groot".
Dude! We understood Groot at the end because WE ARE FAMILY NOW. That was so clear to most of us, and very touching.
The family thing is so hilarious when you consider who voices him lol.
@@itskashkashi 👍🏻
Rocket face emotion in Vol 3 made me cry... such good VFX and emotion... great superhero movie recently.
Yea I could actually see Bradley, I could also clear see Dominic Torreto in Groot
@@Collect2Disconnect U mean Vin Diesel 😅
The movie is the perfect end to a great trilogy! I cried. I laughed ,and had so much fun. But man I still can't get over Rocket's origin story so heartbreaking.
YEP, ABSOLUTELY!!!
I got home from the cinema today and hugged my dog. When rocket went back to save his family and the other animals,I thought of my lil pup when I heard the dogs whining and howling
When my cat was born 6 years ago I got him a raccoon dog toy so sleep with. We called him rocket raccoon and my cats eyes weren’t even open yet he was only a few days old. I imagine when he opened his eyes the first thing he saw was rocket and till this day he takes him everywhere around the house. Love my cats and that damn Rocket Racoon 😂❤️
I was literally sobbing for Lylla, Floor and Teefs. So little time seeing them and yet their life and eventual death hit the hardest.
Lullaby, Floor and Teefs represent more than animals subject to cruelty, but people subject to similar cruelty.
@@Karateka1973 good take.
The MCU is really gonna miss James Gunn truly an end of Era.
They're going to miss Chris Pratt. Fast becoming one of Hollywood's biggest stars.
@@darthoblivion2615he’s set to return.
Yea it’s scary he’s not involved anymore. This sh*ts on a lot of the MCU.
He is doing DCU now.
@@kadarvimana.private his contract hasn't been renewed.
Vol 3 was just beautiful. What a great send off.
ABSOLUTELY!!! It was TRULY a PHENOMENAL Cinematic MASTERPIECE!!!
I can’t believe I almost cried abt a superhero movie abt a raccoon’s past… the emotion + humor made this a well rounded movie with all the character development and resolution at the end. They also did an AMAZING job making the audience feel hatred towards the villain. And Groot breaking the 4th wall at the end really sold it. I dare say this is my favorite MCU movie.
Best marvel trilogy by far, Rocket’s backstory was 🔥🔥
The spiderman trilogy of the mcu is equal to this imo
by a mile! This trilogy is just simply great moving making. Practically perfect in so many ways. Hate to see it go but loved the way it went.
Captain America would have something to say about that
@@MrAzteclion I love caps trilogy but the gotg trilogy is the best!! no cameos just a simple story and the guardians ( unlike civil war and NWH)
So hear me out, the High evolutionary's actor was so good that if they just make him a variant of Kang and hire the actor to play the other variants I'm not complaining
I like how Rocket having the Zune at the beginning of the movie shows that he’s fully taken on the MC role from Peter who had the choice of music in Guardians 1
This movie was amazing! Honestly towards the end when Peter got stuck out in space. I teared up. I genuinely thought he was dead. Even after Warlock saved him.
Same lol I said he’s gotta meet his grandpa he can’t die.😢
I know, RIGHT?! Thank God he LIVED and got to see AND be Reunited with his Grandpa!! ALL Awesome things ALL the way around!!; and definitely gives us MUCH hope for further, future Peter Quill/Star Lord adventures, as well, God willing!! ❤
You blew my mind with the Groot part. It makes that scene a million times better!
Yooo sameeee!
I took it as Groot allows people to understand him, which is why Gamora eventually was able to and then we as the audience as well. We became his trusted family.
This film fucced me up. One bit had me near ugly crying. Even from the first strum of Creep at the beginning, my emotions were in tatters.
Man!!!! Im glad it wasnt just me🤣🤣🤣
Same the first couple seconds got me
PhylaVell was actually showing some sort of ability when she was running with the new group at the post credit scene, her hand was emitting the same purple iridescent light similar to Kamala's powers.
Yes! And her eye started glowing purple as they were getting ready to charge.
That’s a great catch re: the purple eyes, which is interesting that Ryan missed since he’s done videos on how the mcu is color coded. Well done!
Read the comics. She’s the next quasar lol
This! I was looking for someone to comment this! She’s gotta be connected to the marvels somehow
@@brittneyann5530 in a sense but the real connection possible from the Gorr the God but he’s daughter from Thor Love And Thunder
okay but i wasnt the only one sobbing my way through each and every rocket flashback scene right? bc i was a MESS knowing what was coming
Just finished watching it. I was in emotional shambles... ugly crying during the flash backs. Floor the bunny hit me hard.... 😢
YEP!! 😭
In one of the interviews, James Gunn said Rocket's eyes was modeled from his late dog's eyes.. 😭😭💔 So in his back story whenever he was scared and when he was running for his life, those eyes made me ugly cry more. No animal deserves pain! None! 😭😭😭
Omg this makes so much sense. I felt that those were dog eyes bc it reminded me of my puppy’s eyes. So full of emotion.
@@tajam4769 so true. I can't find the link but it is one of the interviews with him and Chris Pratt. Rocket's eyes were dog eyes. That's why it looks so familiar and I'm so affected by it. ❤
if High Evolutionary didn't do to Rocket what he did, Rocket would have been just an ordinary low-lifeform raccoon instead of an evolved hyper-intelligent being. Made Rocket's life incredibly better even though it suffered.
anyone notice the newspaper in the second post credit scene, "Alien Abduction, Kevin Bacon tells all" in reference to the Christmas special?
100% groot still says " I am groot" and it is confirmed by him and gamora's scene. When you see those two in their last scene she talks to him, and then he say's I am groot, but she instead of replying with "yes I know you are groot" as she's been doing the whole movie, she replies to him in conversation, indicating that once groot acknowledges you as part of his "inner circle" you begin hearing conversation instead of I am groot. That happens to us the audience in that last piece of dialogue.
This was hands down one of the best Marvel movies yet. Sad to see Gunn leave the Guardians behind but he left us with an amazing trilogy (and holiday special)
On the flip side hopefully he'll give us some amazing DC films.
Not gonna lie towards the end I completely forgot Adam was the reason why Rocket was dying and the reason this whole movie even existed. I thought after they killed his mom he woulda instantly been on the guardians side and just one shotted high evolutionary. The fact he even attempted to continue to try and fight the guardians was probably my biggest gripe that and quill not instantly dying
He’s half a God
See what you mean about the quil thing, but remember he's half celestial so it would make sense that he would have ALOT of resistance to the vaccume of space
i found adam warlock out of place in this movie, like it could have been better without him. have one of the high evolutionary's other beings go hurt rocket in the beginning, have someone else save peter after he almost dies fetching his zune... it's almost like there was already a movie and they tried to cram him in and give him things to do. when nathan fillion says he also 'has one of those guys' mere moments after the guy was disintegrated by adam, it made me feel that whole 'adam overkills to show his power' scene was crammed in after the fact
@@samsawchuk9347 I thought once ego and his planet died so did his half celestial powers.
The hallway fight scene set to Beastie Boys was one of the best action sequences to ever bless the Marvel Universe. Edited to correct my mistake lol
Actually it was No Sleep Til Brooklyn and yeah that was the SCENE!!🔥🔥🔥
Best fight scene since iron man 2 😭😭
Gotta hit you with a downvote for not knowing it was no sleep till Brooklyn 😂😂 my theater was singing to it the whole time.
You probably got confused because The Marvels trailer before the movie started also played a beastie boys song ‘intergaltic’
not to late to edit and correct the song make my boy !
@@Collect2Disconnect both great songs but that scene was 🤌🏼👌🏽
Could they possibly have sung No Sleep till Brooklyn anymore more?
Just walked out the theater seriously and I cannot believe how amazing that movie is!! from start to finish! I think I’m gonna go back and rewatch it. Seriously! Amazing working James Gunn did on that finale!!
I loved this ending. I don't like it whan characters die. But to end the Guardians with some of them retiring and living their best life without superhero work (which looks pretty traumatising to me), is very satisfying. They are gone but not dead, and maybe we get to see the New Guardians of the Galaxy in the future.
Like the characters, James Gunn himself was also given a second chance.
I laughed, I sang & I cried. This was a fantastic movie.
I ABSOLUTELY agree!! All the GOTG Movies were/are FANTASTIC, but in my humble opinion, GOTG 3 is in a class by itself and is TRULY a PHENOMENAL Cinematic MASTERPIECE!!
Starlord's story adapting to life on earth is just Parks & Rec. He thinks he's so famous he used the alias "Andy Dwyer" so nobody would know he's a gardian...
I love "floor" 😢😢 I had a white rabbit 🐇 when I am a child. I cried and the same in the movie I cried when he died and when floor is shouting❤ to rocket
I think it's pretty simple why Rocket is so crafty and creative...he's a raccoon who was given superior intelligence and opposable thumbs.
Raccoons are pretty ingenious on their own without superhuman intelligence to back it. They can figure out how to open locking garbage cans and coolers
i LOVeD the relationship between drax and mantis in this movie,,
I rewatched the first film just now, something neat I noticed is when they get captured by the nova core and have the little “what a bunch of a-holes” there’s a little ui thing that says “associates” and “Lylla” is listed under there along with groot. Gunn had vol 3 planned when making vol 1…
Lylla exist in the comics. They just took her name for the comics.
Happy to see this big movie show NDEs and capture most of it accurate. Rocket would have felt pure love on the other side and she said "its not your time" and he instantly shot back into his body. Love it!
I was like he’s pulling a Deadpool 2 !!!
“No one died” except an entire planet full of unique sentient beings
Damn Vision's line from Wandavision still gets me even when snuck in for a point
Yes
I loved all of the Guardians movies, but this one was the best! Rocket is my hero!
This movie made me cry! So emotional!
What did you think of the movie?
One of the best MCU movie yet I was emotional wreck ,and the high evolutionary is one of the best villain love it 🥺❤.
I haven’t watched it but I want spoilers
It's not even out yet!!!!!!!!
Movie was amazing. My friend invited me to a fan screening a week before the actual release. I’m not sure if I like it more than vol 2, but all 3 movies are absolutely amazing. The humor and action were on point. I wonder if Adam Warlock’s story was cut or reduced. I thought he was supposed be more impactful but he was sort of a grunt.
Best movie since spider man no way home but that not saying much 😂
Wow! You nailed it! I love this analysis! ❤
I cried so fucking much. Being a new father, the Drax arch hit so hard.
The Groot thing was explained close to the end by Gamora standing at that balcony looking at everybody and understanding Groot before she knew he was talking to her. She turns around and realizes it was Groot talking to her. Next scene Groot says "I love you guys" but it was not english, it was James Gunn's way of letting us be one of the gang after spending time with them throughout all these movies. That was very clever and cool way for the director to inmerse the fandom into the story.
I am not going to lie... I cried during the WHOLE movie and at the end when rocket put one Pete's song 😢 circle is round
It was the first premiere I've seen in years. So good.
I really wish lylla had lived ,and became a member of the guardians at the end with rocket 😢 ,but great movie regardless! The ending was prefect for all the characters! I'm satisfied.
James Gunn did a fantastic job bringing these characters in life. He did so good, and I am excited, what he'll gonna do for the future of the DCEU.
The "All Dogs Go To Heaven" reference alone is enough to make me love and appreciate you and this movie so much more, Ryan.
I only saw it one time so far, but I've been thinking all the characters sort of had their own death scene in this movie. Not just Rocket. Star Lord had another space freeze moment. Drax was shot real bad. Groot's head was ripped off. Mantis was almost eaten by the big pink thing but I don't know if that's a parallel really. I forget if there were others so I could be wrong. But my theory is everyone had a (near) death scene.
I couldn't stop crying the entire movie... hysterically streaming tears the entire movie... I even dressed in my best maroon leather mini dress... Gosh!! it was an emotional movie... I couldn't even catch my breath...
Haha I cried more during this movie than any movie I’ve ever seen lol
Lol crying over tortured animals while wearing the skin of a tortured animal.
In the screen credits under special thanks Fans are given a shout out. That was awesome since it had been 6 years since the last movie.
I do like your Groot theory about it was us understanding him now.
I was thinking Groot was developing human behavior because he has been around them so long. It could be not common for that race to not be around so many humans or other species.. So he taught himself to talk....but
Your theory makes more sense.
Did anyone else notice the news article in the post credit scene was about Kevin bacon getting abducted by aliens, alluding to the Christmas special?
I'm so happy seeing Phyla-vell and Adam in the team, as I've been waiting for them to join since the first movie. I really hope we see more of them in the future, maybe introducing other familiar characters like Moon Dragon and the Magus. Oh, also somehow maybe get Adam, Gamora and Pip to be in the same scene somehow, seeing as they were buddies in the comics for so long.
The High Evolutionary was a legit villain. I almost started to think hes a variant of Kang! He was more menacing than the Kang variant in Antman.
NO DEATHS? BRUH BATCH 89 MADE ME CRIEEEEEEE
This is an actual Villain!!!
Love the reference titles for each movies you show!
I really loved Guardians 3. What a good trilogy
For the very last post credit scene for the very last MCU movie, they need to reveal that "the one above all" is a cartoonist working in a studio somewhere and that the entire MCU has been a product of his imagination. I think the Jack Kirby being god of the marvel universe is a great twist
Doug is such a great TH-camr.
I think it would be funny if Peter goes to the same Baskin and Robin's that Scott Lang worked at
Thank for the breakdown as always Ryan, and Doug your the best keep up the great work 👍🏽.
Love your videos so much…keep up the fantastic work!!
Comic looking Groot was awesome, hate that the Marvel Legends figures spoiled Winged Groot months in advanced, woulda made that moment waaaaaayy more interesting
I never knew that
I was expecting groot to drive the car, because family is important 😂
Rocket's friends in the afterlife should've been healed instead of still wearing the tech.
But that’s how rocket remembers them. He never saw them before they became disfigured and injured test subjects. I think in a weird way it’s a huge part of their identity and his version of heaven is not about healing themselves but simply keeping his promise to his friends.
“Btw everyone, I have taken up running.”
“Where?… To the fridge to get some more fudge!”
Doug with the epic burn 🔥 haha 🤣
The soundtrack was fire 🔥🔥☝🏽
At first I got scared and mad reading the title bc I thought it meant 3 post credit scenes lmaoo I’m like WAIT I ONLY SAW 2!!!!
no one died..
the whole counter earth: 😲😲😲
🤣🤣🤣
I like the thought that we reached the same level of understanding as Gamora to understand groot.
High Evolutionary is the most irredeemable villian in the history of movies.
bro needed a brutal onscreen death cause wtf he was so evil
Now that’s what I’m waiting for =
MOST DETAILED AND MOST CORRECT BREAKDOWNS 🥳
GotG3 gets my 7.5/10
Honestly I’m very happy with the new team, especially with Phyla-Vell
AND IF Adam gets a grow-up-grade asap 😂
Watched it again, the paper Peter’s grandpa is reading in the post credit reads: “Alien abduction - Kevin Bacon tells all” lol
Nebula taking care of these unwanted children was similar to Janusz Korczak, who was the iconic Polish author, pedagogue, pediatrician, etc. who run the largest orphanage and took care of unwanted children in Warsaw. Korczak was the only person to be given a free pass out of the Warsaw Ghetto. Korczak declined and was gassed in Treblinka with his orphaned children.
Yes! There is a moving statute in honor of him in Warsaw. I did not know his story until I saw the statue for the first time.
I like the idea of breaking the 4th wall with Groot
My emotions are not under control after this movie i thought he died when his face swelled up it was like i was there and when grut screamed and stretched out his branches and they were just too short and froze my brain tapped out that was some good film making right there did not even realise i was that invested in what happened to them it was a an emotional roller coaster for me and i don't do emotions this was a brilliant ending each one found their purpose and have healed
I personally interpreted the “hand that guides the hand” and “the story was yours all along” lines as a meta statement talking about the real world writers and the fact that Rocket is the main character now in this movie and any future Guardians installment.
Volume 3 just saves the whole MCU.
great job brother. detailed explanation. good show
I think High Evolutionary's death was left ambiguous in case they need an alternate villain to Kang. I bet there is a scene that was removed of Adam getting revenge for his mother's death. Adam then escapes the exploding ship to rescue Peter just-in-time
No. He died and they aren’t replacing Kang lol
@@jessejive117 the actor maybe. Johnathan kinda fucked up his career
James Gunn took the “death of rocket” comic run and made it 20 times better
Hey, did that ravager that was like pinkish-red, have a sling ring to get them all on peters ship, when gamora appeared?
Phyla-(vell)'s name was actually mentioned in the post-credit scene. And she manifested some abilities in that scene too. Interesting that the MCU is introducing another young superhero.
we need star-lord sitcom!!
Love this movie!!! Glad we got to see Rockets origin, was so sad. I also liked the opening song. Radiohead - Creep [acoustic]
Is there anything more to Peter's Grandfather's neighbor? He seemed to imply there was a big story there and Peter wanted to hear it - I thought it might be a set up for something significant (the kid is a mutant or something)
pretty sure it was meant to be a joke to point out that he was going from this life of cosmic action to a mundane regular existence with mundane regular stories and problems, eating cereal and talking about mowing the yard.
Groot also talked in The 1st GOTG wen they were starting to plan for stopping Ronin the accuser!
Personally this was one of the best Marvel movies to come out in recent years. Not perfect, but still a well done story that I could appreciate.
