Hello!
Hey guys! Never been early. Been viewer since Loki season 1. Love it

HE is the truck, Kangs can only see the leafs.
When we see the full tree at the end it looks like Kang battles at the top. all the purple bursts possibly of Kang destroying time lines.
Mobius predicted the solution all the way back in episode 1 when he said: "I need a Loki Who Remains".
holy shit, great catch!
Hahahah, goddamn !
sobbing
Amazing catch
Damn, dude. You're completely right.
The Loki series is exactly what marvel shows should strive to be. It was great. Really felt bad for Loki having to be all alone holding the multiverse together.
Ya realize that many times shows DO strive to be that good etc yea?... and that virtually NEVER do they set out to make something that is garbage... I know... I know thats hard for people to grasp. And everyone just takes peoples literal hard work and balk like they can do better... but, even bad shows and movies take a lot of hard work and time to make.
Kinda ironic, Loki was well written, he’s like last bastion of trying to hold the MCU together with the recent bad movies they came out with. Hopefully the stories rebound back to this level after Loki.
@aicdragon Secret Invasion tried...and failed but, shhhh don't point out why? 🙄
I felt so bad he tried so hard to not be alone but knew he had to
He did It proudly, though... story as old as time, no matter what we want, we would sacrifice ourselves for the betterment of the ones we love. Too only have such an honor...
I never thought I would ever like Loki more than Thor
Same but here we are
Poor Hemsworth lol
It is written this way
Loki has always been written better than Thor
Can’t disagree
“For you, for all of us!” was his last line in Thor talking to Odin before he fell into abyss and his last line in Loki. Gave it a real meaning the second time around. Cool arc.
And it was improvised *BOTH* times by Tom! 😭💚
The “original” Loki from the MCU sacrificed himself to save Thor and his people of Asgard. The Loki from Disney+ was taken from this timeline and was never able to experience this moment, or moments, that led to him learning how to be selfless. Yet, he still learns it and makes a sacrifice to protect those he cares about. This Loki was always destined to be a hero.
Tom’s dedication and passion to this role was *INSANE!*
- He watched the movies since the beginning and loved them.
- He read all the comics as he was growing up.
- He held multi-day long ‘Loki’ & ‘Marvel’ lectures for the entire cast and crew even going to Owen’s house several days in a row to help him prepare for his role as ‘Mobius.’
- He learnt Norwegian and sang in it as well as study Norse lore to prepare for his role in the first Thor movie.
- He asked the composer, Natalie Holt to put certain music tracks into particular scenes
- He became a ‘special executive producer’ for the series
"I know he did all of this because I read it and therefore it is true.. "
@@Penastahow else do you learn the past besides videos and being there ?
@@Penastastop being a dick bro 😂

I've never had a finale emotionally destroy me this much. I was actually sobbing. Best MCU show by far
I couldn't understand what this finale was doing to me. How was I feeling so much for just a character? Why was my throat getting heavier? Why were my eyes just filling up?
Then I realised that the writers did such a great job in giving this character his best arc. This show alone did such a great job to bring us closer to Loki as an audience. Loki is by far my favourite character throughout the entire MCU.
You cried? 👨🏻🚀
Lol
@@chadbrambers8346You didn't?
If this got you in the feels, I would recommend the clone wars series. It’s 7 season long but my god does it pay off
The time stone being green makes so much sense now
Love it
omg
Omg even more mind blown
It was such a good ending, better than I could have hoped for. I'm not crying it's the rain
"no one can see you crying when it's raining" your comment reminded me of "Earnest Goes to Camp" and now i'm having flashbacks to my childhood.
...like...tears in rain."
I'm not crying. I've just been cutting onions. I'm making a lasagna...for one.
"Time is an illusion." and it's beautiful to see that the character who creates illusions now controls time. So that was character development at its finest. And I found it funny that he always wanted the throne and now he's firmly attached to one. It's interesting to see his wish come true, but it comes with enormous responsibility. Sensational series finale. I hope Marvel continues to build their movies so well after the low point of the last few years.
lol so aggamoto power was coming from loki realm, no wonder it was color green
Yes and he’s a scientist lol
With great power comes great responsibility
I cried at the Kintsugi throne. It had such symbolism and meaning to repair what is broken and make it more precious than it was before - and he did it with the throne, with his crown, and with the very timelines. Beautiful finale. Couldn't have bestowed it upon a more deserving character or actor.
I through the same 😢

Loki is not alone. That enlightened smile in the end tells me that he is connected with all of the people he loves on the different timelines that flow through him. He is in fact connected to every living being in an infinite Multiverse
My thought exactly. He was watching Sylvie and Mobius and was genuinely happy for where they both were. I loved it. Loki is now at the top of the power scale in the MCU.
Watcher ?
@@nomadicrainTop of the power scale is a strong word. He’s basically the loom now which only stabilizes timelines, not controls them. But we’ll see! There’s a lot that we still don’t know
@@WonkelDee maybe. But what we saw was Loki grab all of the dead branches of time and bring them back to life THEN stitch them into the world tree and have the ability to peer through the tree to see his friends essentially gaining omnipresence and just needing to focus on a spot to witness what’s going on. In the comics God of Stories Loki is just below Those Who Sit Above in Shadow. He is capable of rewriting timelines, and rewrote his own future. At this point we have no entities of the level of Those who sit above, so until we do, I’m confident saying that Loki is at the top. If those more concept level beings are introduced Loki slides down a bit. But as of now, Loki is God of Stories and can control time at will. He is the time stone incarnate.
@@WonkelDee he said Mcu .living tribunal is at the top
The writing for this series has been phenomenal.
Fr it’s really hard to make shit that’s not cringe
I hope they all get a bigger raise!
But most of it was improv..
I think everyone needs to remember that this all comes to fruition because of the amazing Writers, Pencilers, Inkers, Colorists, Editors that for decades at Timely/Marvel Comics dedicated their craft.
A standing ovation for all of them since 1939.
To Kirby, Stan, Shooter, Ross, Byrne, Miller, Bendis, Hickman
@@pengboi And to all those who stood upon the shoulders of giants.
The thought of this Loki showing up in Kang Dynasty and Thor seeing his brother not only alive but then finding out all the good he has accomplish will be 'Glorious"!
I can’t stop thinking how all this Multiversal chaos started only because Hulk was told to take the stairs 😂😂😂😂
It actually started when Banner not Hulk made the Ancient One realize that in the future Dr. Strange will break time. Not ONE of these TH-cam guys saw that. Not one. She realized perhaps she made a mistake with Strange and gave the time stone to Hulk. Unfortunately, that started the path and the time streams broke.
Just goes to show that Marvel can still knock it out of the park when they take the time to focus on writing and character development. Not to mention getting fantastic performances from their all-star talent pool. Tom Hiddleston was brilliant!!!
He is amazing

I said the same thing, they need to take over the next phase because they clearly know what to do when it comes to multiverse stories
Can we just take a minute to once again acknowledge Natalie Holt's amazing work on this show?! Just SO damn good.
I also feel that Loki's horns growing during his walk out of the time stream to be the physical representation of him getting older, wiser and more powerful with time. Getting to the level and possibly surpassing Odin. As it took him and Sylvie to open the end of time to meet He Who Remains.
This was great. One thing that's been going around on Twitter, was that there was another closed Ouroboros loop. At the end of the first Thor movie when Odin is holding onto Loki at the broken Rainbow Bridge, Loki's monologue ends with:
Loki: I did it for you! For All of us.
Odin: No, Loki.
When Loki turns to see Sylvie and Mobius, he talks about knowing what type of god he needs to be and ends it with:
Loki: For you.... For all of us
Mobius: NO!
Sylvie: LOKI!
The same lines, read in two very different ways. By everyone in the scene. The first time Loki says this, he's frantically pleading with his father to be seen, to be heard, for validation that what he did was not wrong. And Odin tells him calmly. No.
The second time he says them, he's lived a lifetime of destructive behavours only to find out what was the most important thing to him. Friends and a family that both see and hear him. And to save them he knows what he has to do. So he says what he says in a resigned and yet hopeful way. Only to have Mobius and Sylvie yell out to him in fright because they've yet to see the bigger picture that Loki has come to realize. The end of his loop.
His character arc complete, achieving the same growth that Thor did.
Stop making me tear up. Lol
@@nomadicrain No can do. You'll cry with me.
It's not like Mobius doesn't see the bigger picture. He must see at least a glimpse. He knows Loki will sacrifice himself. And that's why he yells "no!". He realizes it's for the good of everyone - but everyone except Loki.
annnnnd now I'm crying again
Not an ouroboros loop, just a callback.
Best MCU show! Loki has become one of the best written characters in the MCU. 10/10 show! 10/10 finale!

Beethoven's 5th symphony is also known as The Fate Symphony. The recurring motif was said to represent fating knocking at the door. The bgm is not just a remix, it is a remix of the very FATE of MCU :)
And the initials of the TVA motto "For All Time Always" read F.A.T.A.
FATA is Latin for fate.
On another point about Beethoven's 5th: In an episode of series nine of Dr. Who, the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) plays this well-known tune on an electric guitar in a fourth-wall break designed to explain the bootstrap paradox to the audience... As was mentioned in the last episode of Loki, it's all about "Who".🤔
😊
I just heard the Judge Judy theme in that scene lol!

I was kinda thinking they were just referring to the quantum realm when they said the 616 adjacent realm, meaning each realm has its own quantum realm. Also it was pretty cool that Odin originally said both Loki and Thor were meant to sit on a throne, almost like Odin always knew Loki’s true purpose.
They don’t each have their own quantum realm. It’s slightly different. The quantum realm is the basement of the multiverse. The portal/connection to every universe in the multiverse. They talked about it when quantum mania came out.
@@blazonist313 that’s what I thought too until this happened. it’s just weird to refer to it as its 616 adjacent realm. They could be retconning that original idea and making more than just one quantum realm. It would make sense for them to make one for each universe if we’re going to see incursions happening and we aren’t seeing multiple variants in the quantum realm. In an entire multiverse it seems like more than just one Janet, Scott, Darren, etc. would have been in the quantum realm at the same time so I bet they are now saying each realm has its own adjacent quantum realm underneath it.
"First duty of a ruler is to serve his people and not for his people to serve him" Man this hits from the heart, and it relates so much with Loki and his character development.
Thor- "You think yourself above them?"
Loki- "Well yes."
For- "Then you miss the truth of ruling, brother. The throne would suit you ill."
This dialogue from the first Avengers movie hits different now.
An insanely perfect ending. Honestly if he was done with the role for now, I wouldn't be mad with this send off. If only his Brother got the same treatment.
Well Thor got an adopted daughter
There has never been a greater MCU moment than when Loki realizes his purpose in episode 6.
Meh, Tony Stark's death scene was way more emotional IMO. You could almost cry from being happy and sad.
@@jordankraemer6466it was JUST plot hole death. I was like wtf Are u doing Tony And Dr. ?
@@jordankraemer6466and Loki, isn’t dead. He willingly sacrificed his freedom, life, and death. He has to constantly live with his greatest fear, being alone. All of that to save his friends and because no one else can.
Tony could have handed any other person the glove, captain marvel probably would have survived the snap.
His glorious purpose, what a ride it has been.. Best MCU TV show so far.
@@ked49@jordankraemer6466 Tony being the one to do it and die as the result was THE ONLY scenario out of the billions Dr. Strange found would work. Anyone else would die ,without it working. Sooo what plot hole donyou speak of?
If Loki could stop his time slipping and master it, also hold the multiverse together I think it’s safe to say his power has no limits. Eventually I think he’ll be able to leave the end of time and do what he pleases while still holding the multiverse together. It’s kinda crazy how powerful he is. He technically can’t die either because if he gets close to it or thinks he might he could just time slip and change the situation or be ready for anything coming.
He can create an avatar, or possess other Lokis
Getting him back would just destroy this beautiful character arc of his. I don't think he's coming back 😢
I theorized when the timelines reach a certain point, he'll combine them to a starting point, basically knotting and anchoring all of time to the throne. That way he can leave when he wants
He can still die tho. Only supreme beings like Living Tribunal, Eternity, Arishem, Knull, Uatu, Galactus, Infinity Ultron, Dormammu, etc.. Can kill him. Maybe Prime Kang too.
He essentially became He Who Remains...
I loved the way they designed Loki's clothes, just fabric, no armour, no gold, no luxury... just humble clothes for a humble God
Loki has always been my favorite MCU character. His self titled show did not disappoint. Just something about how he is powerful & fallible makes it resonate to my own existence bc I'm not perfect... but he never gave up despite failing repeatedly, getting beat (literally & figuratively), & just battling his self discovering who he is.
Never cared about Loki until this show. What a redemption. 10/10 ending.
I loved Loki before this show!
Loki, whole show s1/s2 is the best thing Marvel produced for me, phase 3 and movies included
Loki sacrificed himself over his friends, and The One Who Remains sacrificed everyone over himself. I have to admit I teared up a bit to see Loki get his glorious purpose! I had to clap at the ending, bravo! Well done. This show was amazing!
in fairness Kang prob been doing the job for how many million years? enought to drive people crazy...
Same bro same it’s such a great ending where in it feels refreshing because a lot of endings now days are alike but when I saw Loki’s ending I feel such a powerful development
This series was such a treat. I love how inspired the visuals were, how carefully they went about the story, and honestly, how messy they made time travel, leaving it up to the audience to try to understand how it all fits.
This show was so good! Everything was well written. Just sobbing that Loki had to leave everything he cared about behind. This was the best arc out of every movie I’ve seen. ❤❤❤
I can’t believe it he made a sacrifice that I would never of imagined him making but it just shows how he grew into the hero he was meant to be
I like to think that Loki chose to take the appearance of Yiggrasil because he was inspired by the stories he was told as a child, and that the stories of Yiggrasil are thmesleves inspired by Loki, making it an other Ouroboros loop
Seeing Tom Hiddleston's Loki literally "burdened" with his glorious purpose was mind-blowing! He didn't want a thrown but he was BORN for it. To be the King of Stories was his ultimate calling. Is this what Feige had planned all along? I don't know if we have ever seen a complete character arc; what do you think?
Yeah that expression on his face in the final shot 💔💔💔
I’d say the ten years, 23 films leading up to Endgame was a complete arc. And not just a single person’s arc, but ARCS which is beyond impressive.
Feige had nothing to do wiht this, what the fuck man?
*thrown -> throne 👑
Cut to loki being thrown repeatedly by hulk
Perfect finale! I hope we see Loki return in Secret Wars or Kang Dynasty or both! And I hope we get the Thor and Loki reunion they confirmed happens around
That time too!
Agreed! 💯💯👍
It would be really cool to have Thor realize that his brother became good rather then resort to evil/bad forever!
I think this finale is meant to write off Kang. If Kang disappeared now, this episode explains why.
Bringing Loki back would just ruin his beautiful character arc. I think he's done
I don't think he's alone. I think he sees into every timeline. And is in essence Omnipresent. He thought he would serve alone but is in fact with everyone now.
sure, but he can't interact with them so he is essentially alone
Just because you have a television to watch an infinite amount of television shows doesn't make you not alone if you're just sitting on that chair by yourself.
Still alone tho. Loki now is like watching a TV
@@mavvynne444 a tv that he can project himself into whenever he wants, he himself is a better version of the tempad in season 2 so he go into any timeline at any moment, he might not be as strong if he wasnt actually sitting on a throne at the end of time keeping it all together but should be able to jedi ghost himself into 616 secret wars or kang dynasty to help change events now being the god of stories/time

An absolute triumph of a show. Thank you Screen Crush crew for your continued dedication and shared enthusiasm for all things comics!
I like how this show started by saying to Loki him being a god doesnt mean anything in the scale of the TVA, and finished by him turning into the god of time. Also went from greedy/power drived god to humble/guardian god, its the perfect glowup Loki deserved
My theory is that when Loki timeslips (similar to time travel on the physical timeline) the new chain of events is supposed to create a new timeline but because they are outside of time it can't, so that's why every time Loki timeslips in the final few episodes the surrounding area always spaghetti-fies... those events technically didn't happen although Loki still experienced/remembers them
This makes total sense! Great theory
basically he was a superior version of Flash Flashpoint
Thank you to Ryan and all the rest of the ScreenCrush team for your breakdowns, theories, and analysis of this show! It's been a wild ride!
It was reported over the summer that Jeff Loveness was removed as head writer of The Kang Dynasty following Quantomania's poor return rate from its theatrical run. If that's true, I hope Eric Martin has been brought on as the new head writer as he's perfect for it. He'd be the only one who could re-intergrade the Kang storyline without disregarding Loki seasons 1-2 and he knows how to write a compelling time travel story.
Man...that walk was absolutely epic. It gives you time to think about it being his birth right, and what Odin said about them both being destined to be kings... his whole journey in the MCU leading up to that up to that very moment. Glorious Purpose! Iol I Fn love Loki!
I have a theory that the meeting place of the Council of Kangs is in the Void at the End of Time. It makes sense when you realize that, along with Loki, Kang variants are the most frequently pruned, and we saw how many Loki variants there were in the Void. Perhaps Renslayer will be revealed as a Kang variant and recruited into the council.
In the comics Renslayer is not a variant but Rama-tut's lover. They go back and forth across the multi-verse loving to fighting each other, dying then being resurrected. She was featured in Avengers and Fantastic Four and was also known as Terminatrix. She is from timeline Earth-6311.
Everything is in the void at the end of time, the TVA, HWR's citadel, and Alioth's hunting ground. Wouldn't be hard for the Kangs to also be out there, and never run into each other.
When Loki was looking into the camera saying he “knows what kind of god he needs to be … for you”, I honestly took that like he was speaking to MCU fans. It’s like he sacrificed himself for us in a way to coarse correct the MCU for the better.
this
I took it as more of an almost breaking the fourth wall for fans since this is his last ride as Loki. It’s doubtful that Tom Hiddleston knew or is responsible for the breadth of how bonkers the MCU has been getting with the other projects.
😭💚
@@CatalinaMediaI’m 90% sure that this isn’t his last. 😉 I wish that *HE* would have written this show!

This episode reminded me a lot of the Dr Who Episode “Heaven Sent” because both have immortals stuck in a time loop trying to escape and every time making a little more progress each time they fail but eventually ends up in losing something important (for Loki, freedom and his friends and for the doctor his memories of Clara)

Love the origin of the tessaract being from the mural of the tree and that Loki started this whole journey as a variant who used the tessaract in End Game
Since renslayer says that what the avengers did was “supposed to happen” in the first episode and they created the specific variant of Loki that we see in the show does that mean he’s technically not a variant but part of the sacred timeline which is why he doesn’t die when the failsafe explodes
Best show ever, in every aspect! Cast, crew, soundtrack... And Tom Hiddleston, man, he was superb! I was cheering and crying for him!

I think one of my favorite details of Loki ascending to his new throne is his clothes and crown. Up til now every time we saw him wearing anything from asgard it was always heavy on the gold and pretty fancy but the clothes he chose to wear at the end of this show are very humble and not flashy or fancy at all.
Notice how his crown resembles the room at the end of time
Your explanations are fantastic. I had tears in my eyes when Loki took that long walk. I really loved that ending. It made a lot of sense and ended bittersweet. Not every ending should be a happy one. We need a mixture. They did a great job on this show. Also, you, Paul and Greg always make me laugh when you tell each other to F off.

@@MHruskamusicthen how are we going to continue Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars?
I love the idea that heroes need Loki's help in secret wars someone's go get him and we're hopefully gonna see Loki who have watched over whole timelines for eons so is much more experienced ,calm and composed but still has this trickster in him.
after watching this show; it made loki my favorite hero by FAR. his character was so well done, and I feel like he represents everyday people. also, giving up the ultimate sacrifice to be a slave to save all those you love, is truly the ultimate sacrifice.
When I saw the TVA plaque in the void with Ravonna, I didn't think it meant it was pruned. I thought that it meant the TVA headquarters eventually turns into the void at the end of time. Interested to see how that plays out!
i thought the same
And Alioth is Miss Minutes' final form.
TVA now monitoring new temporal loom. They do same work minus killing new branches
Perfectly written, perfectly executed! And an excellent example of its genres too! One element about Loki's self-sacrifice at the end is that HWR could have sacrificed himself by NOT sending the TVA manual back to a young Timely. But he wasn't prepared to wipe himself out of the timeline - wiping out himself and his own variants (rather than their entire timelines) would easily prevent the multiversal war. But Kang would never do that - Loki did.
Not sending that TVA manual to young Victor Timely would not wipe out the other Kang variants, because they don't descend from Victor. Maybe some of them do, but the majority of them don't.
But I'm sure there must be something else He Who Remains could have done differently. He just didn't bother to try to find another way, when he already had a functioning solution at hand (pruning all the branches).
Loki remains… it’s the same character being played by different roles…. He chose Loki to sit in that seat….
OB
Best Question! Ever! For him to exist he had to die that he it.
Finally we get a marvel show finale that isn't rushed! And it was glorious.
And without a big CGI fight!
From rewatching the finale I had an epiphany, you were right being behind everything including putting Loki on his thrown in the end. Romona did say in the first episode that the Avengers did everything they were supposed to do, which includes accidentally dropping the Tesseract that Loki picked up that kicked the whole show into gear
I liked the symmetry between this and the first Thor movie. The Bifrost was a large round structure over a void, attached to a long walkway. The temporal loom interface was a large round structure at the end of a long walkway. At the end of Thor, Loki falls from the shattered end of that walkway, purposeless and selfish. But this time he walked from the end of that shattered walkway, creating his own path. The design of the loom interface had to be an intentional nod to the Bifrost.
Oh absolutely!
😭💚🌈
One easter egg everyone seems to have missed was that when Loki was introduced in Journey Into Mystery #85, he's imprisoned in a tree. So the beginning is also the end.
The throne of lies has turned into this Loki’s throne of isolation.
Also both are prisons guarded by a snake in its roots
Also noticed when loki is walking across the bridge the side shot he looks like young loki from season 1 that killed Thor. Then we see him sort of aging into the older loki that said the glorious purpose line
Absolutely mind-blowing episode😅 thanks for the breakdowns over the weeks, always awesome to watch
The muffin joke creating an ouroboros with your Loki S2 breakdown vids... SO fantastic. As I said before, it's my favorite joke, and using it this way is super fun and clever.
Crazy how things come full circle. I wasn’t a big Marvel fan at first, watched movies randomly and out of order until Infinity War hit theaters. I heard good things so I did a massive binge and watched literally everything up to that and went and saw it in theaters (on its last week, haha). I’ve followed since. But, the full circle moment comes from Loki. When he gets choked out and killed in Infinity War, as I watched Marvel in a theatre for the first time, I thought it was amazing. Fast forward to the end and I loved it. Marvel has their Empire Strikes Back film. Now I think this episode is right up there, the ending was insane, caught me in the perfect mood and I loved everything about it. What I realized for the first time writing this comment is that Loki was apart of my two favorite Marvel moments of all time, how poetic.
Fantastic show - and makes you want to go back and watch the Thor movies and avengers again.
Feels all connected into the infinity saga aswell,
This show is the true bridge between Infinity Saga and the Multiverse Saga.
I finished it & it completely blew me a way, far more than any of the other MCU Disney+ shows ever did. This show and ending was phenomenal & once again makes Loki perhaps one of the best characters of the MCU!
Absoltley fantastic ending and definelty the best Marvel Disney+ ending Ive ever seen. That talk between Loki and Mobious about choosing burdens was chefs kiss, as well as Loki intertwinng the branches and holding them together as some sort of God of Stories was mindblowing
To all those people who think Marvel is in shambles, than they definetly need to see this show, because its one of the best projects theyve released in a while.
Absolutely fantastic episode. Whilst the MCU has been in hella trouble lately, this was an absolute triumph. I hope those people who have checked out come back to this series.
Where u from n Tha Bay Area
@@JPHellaHard2800 I didn’t know hella was a bay thing for a loooong time using it lol
Just finished watching season 2 and made me realize that the infamous phrase "see you soon" wasn't meant for Kang's Variants coming back to haunt them, it was for LOKI.
This show was so well planned out. I really enjoyed this season and TH-cam channels like this help me to get fully immersed in it. Thanks!
15:07 Actually, the kang variants WERE set loose because, as HWR says in the finale of s1, "timeline's already starting to branch" as Loki and Sylvie are fighting (trying to kill/stop the killing of HWR) - the branching begins when HWR says they've reached "The Threshold" - that I believe is when the kang variants start existing
This make moresense everyone is saying it Dr Strange or Wanda the Witch that broke the muiltverse,? I think he had to die to be created Victor Timely was the Egg and Variants are his Chicks
@@sophiawilson8696 Strange did break it. Proof? When Banner was talking to the Ancient One. More proof? She knew Dr. Strange before he was even Strange....(When hulk asks for him)... YET she did not KNOW Strange GAVE the stone away. At that point in time... she realized she is a variant. She realized she is not part of the same line this Hulk is from because she has no idea what Banner was talking about. She EVEN says... she made a mistake. That mistake was trusting Strange. She then gives the stone to Hulk. WHY? She knows if she did NOT that timeline would be pruned. (Renslayer even confirms what the Avengers did was supposed to happen..... she knew to a point He who Remains plan... (remember when Ms Minutes shows her what she *Renslayer forgot?) He Who Remains pathed that path. Theory TIME! Imagine ALL of this was actually done by the mindstone.... Ill leave that there....
@KINGLIFERISM There's a flaw, and your theory is overshot.
The Ancient One couldn't have not known Strange would give Thanos the time stone because her and Banner's talk happened in 2012, Strange became her student and bearer of the Time stone a few years later. In the 1st Dr. Strange movie, in the hospital scene where Strange and the Ancient One, who was on a gurney, both used astral projection while conversing. The Ancient One told him no matter how much she tried to see her future, she could not get past the hospital incident where she dies.
The Ancient One died without knowing Strange gave the time stone to Thanos.
The Ancient One did not have the self-realization of being a variant, etc.
@@KINGLIFERISMno? She can not see past her death. If you watched dr strange 1.
Eugene Cordero asking if Miss Minutes would kill us when he also plays Rutherford on Lower Decks, and created Badgey, is probably one of the greatest insider jokes ever.
Becoming the God of Stories was actually foreshadowed in Episode 1! Around the 34 min mark, there’s a quick view of the Time Variance Authority logo on the floor of the TVA. But because of all the papers strewn around, all you can see are the words Time…Author. For real! They showed it a couple times.
It couple be god of stories, yet it fits more into the MCUs role of Atlas. Could also be the MCUs version of creating the God of Time. Since we know Loki can now control all parts of time.
That final look back before he had to sit on the throne alone just makes me so sad for him. He isn’t because he actually cares about the people he is saving but, damn..
I never thought I would ever like Loki more than Thor. The time stone being green makes so much sense now.
Fantastic imagery at the end of this episode. Horned Loki surrounded by the branches of time was amazing.
Loki finally became a king like his father promised. I'm so happy for him... 😢
In what way? Read infinity Abyss. He's become Atlas. The custodian of the mulitiverse
Yes! I wonder if Odin foresaw this, which is why he rescued baby Loki
@@CrankyGrandmaprobably, maybe a feeling?
I thought ironically it was very beautiful and it shows how much Loki has grown and more importantly I kinda took away a lesson from this which I think solidifies Loki as my personal favorite MCU character
Loki's last words to Sylvie were the same as the last words of him to Thor in Thor 1
By the way there is one Kang Variant who knows TVA's existence....Victor Timely...he might have gone into his timeline and becomes a great time manipulator, also with the experience he gained working with Loki in Season 2. Loki who has now allowed branched timelines to co-exist allows the multiversal war to take place (just like how miss minutes demonstrated multiple timelines colliding with each other causing the war in Season 1). Victor travels in 31st century when the multiversal war takes place and also meets Ravona Rennslayer (who has managed to escape the void with the help of Alioth). They both fight in the war alongside as Victor knows Ravona and same from her side, along with Alioth and win the war (just similar to how He who remains told he won in the war in Season 1). Then Victor now known as the one who remained at the end of the war - He Who Remains - with Ravona go to the Citadel where Loki resides (because Victor was there with mobius, B15, sylvie, OB & casey who saw how loki took timelines with him at the citadel). Somehow replacing Loki, there He Who Remains rearranges the Citadel from its broken pieces (explains why the citadel had golden cracks) and sends Ravona in TVA and wipes out everybodies memories....And hence, Oroborous
Yep, this is what keeps happening and it’s gonna be in the Kang Dynasty I think, but something will change at the end and cause Secret Wars
@mccm333 yes someone or something will cause this loop to break and end the saga
*FINALLY!!!*
I've been waiting for this breakdown longer than the _Loki_ finale itself! 😅
This damn show is so effing phenomenal I’m speechless… 20 out of 10. Loki season 2 is a 6+ hour movie. A ultra phenomenal movie
I can even see what Loki could say when he comes back. Someone will call him Loki the god of lies and he can quip back, "Lies are tales children say to avoid punishment. I weave stories in the hope the punishment is not necessary."
I hope the Loki brings back the line "A wise king never seeks out war, but must always be ready for it" at some point when the multiversal war begins
I like how he made the multiverse function like a tree:
The Big Bangs take up their roots and grow into literal branches and then die off as discarded leaves leaving room for the new ones
It’s also a nice reference to Yggdrasil
Thinking of the personal hell purgatory Loki was in is still sticking with me. When the title card of “centuries later” came up I almost felt sucked into the purgaotory with him. Still in shock best show to date from Marvel
Loki's "I'm being the hero" speech with his best friend Mobuis was awesome😢😢😢 one of the saddest HERO speech.
Loki probably relived/replayed/time skipped that moment with Mobuis a thousand times before he was ready to shake his best friend's hand for the last time😢
i have actually JUST finished watching the finale and i got CHILLSSS ALL THROUGHOUT!!!!!
Maybe, Victor Timely is He Who remains because he has the same temporal Aura. Even though they said that different Version have the same temporal aura, but Loki's variants do not have the same temporal aura, otherwise every variant of him (including Sylvie) should have been put together as the one Loki when getting put of the timeline with the temporal aura extractor in episode 1. So Kang's variants should also have different temporal auras. That leads to the point where Timely is He Who remains. And he who remains makes fun of Victor Timely in Episode 6, so maybe he has been making fun of himself as being younger and not having the same experiences. Big maybe!
Thought the same. Either he returns to his timeline with all of this new knowledge or he remains in the TVA as a contributor. Neither is an ideal scenario. (I doubt that they wiped his mind.)
