I like how other podcasts bring on experts. “We’re talking about space today, so our guest is a theoretical physicist.” Nateland says, “We’re talking Bigfoot, so our guest today is a guy who used to work with my sister!”
This episode was truly Nate's passion project. Every question Nate asked was intense and sincere and whenever Kevin talked you could just constantly hear Nate soaking it all in, "Yeah...yeah...yeah...yeah...." I think the Notre Dame valedictorian and Baklava must have felt like they were intruding on Nate and Kevin's special time.
Brilliant! Absolutely Brilliant! In this episode, the group dynamic totally shifted. Nate, you took Aaron's place as the glue that held the episode together. You genuinely listened and engaged with Kevin as he continued to tell us "what *they* say" about bigfoot and aliens...Mind you, with NO SOURCES... As each statement went a little further down the rabbit hole, you kept the conversation moving in a positive direction and kept the conversation from spiraling into chaos. Brigglesby also gave us shades of Aaron as he listened patiently, informed gently, and gave Kevin space to speak. Aaron, however, took both Nate's place as the star of the show and Brigglesby's 'worry face.' Especially on video, Aaron seems to constantly struggle to contain his reactions and comments to just about everything Kevin says. Watching him react was absolutely my favorite part of this episode. There was nothing better than when we finally see him break with Nate's "Civilian Stations" comment. Brigglesby, again taking Aaron's role, said "Were you trying to say 'civilization'?" I was so confused and so proud. Great episode guys! Keep up the great work! p.s. Props for showing restraint. If Kevin Jata were a comedian, you guys would have torn him apart. Every pause in the conversation was pregnant with unsaid burns and witty comebacks. Love it!
Mitch Hedberg in his comedy routine said that the photographers camera is ok , big foot is just blurry. And that’s more frightening is that there’s a large out of focus monster in the woods !
Aaron breaking down and laughing uncontrollably was my favorite part. Even when he tried to reel it back in, the talk of aliens charging themselves like phones made him laugh again. Excellent ending to the show
Nate, I love having people in my life to talk to about these types of subjects too. Staying open minded enough for it to be mysterious and creepy but not getting so serious that it stops being fun. It’s such a blast to just be casually sitting around a table sharing crazy stories and theories with a buddy or acquaintance, like this. My best friends dad who lives in Colorado was a hunting guide his whole life and has a few super compelling and creepy Bigfoot experience stories. Some of my favorite memories are sitting around listening to his stories! Like you’ve said before, this podcast isn’t about having perfect sources and being right about everything. There are plenty of those out there and none of them are funny!!! I dig what you guys are doing so much. Keep doing what you feel led to do.. it’s what we all keep coming back to bust a gut over. God bless y’all.
There is a rumor that this might be the best Nateland episode so far. I noticed glowing lights floating around the room while Nate was asking Dr. McVague probing questions. I was disappointed that Aaron and Barberella didn't hop in more to push this crazy train down the rail. Such a great episode especially when Aaron lost it at the end. Fantastic show gents! Much love from Austin.
I LOST it on this part. I mean, Aaron backs his chair up from the mic and I’m gone. And then when Nate tries again 2min later and still messes it up, that was the end of me. Then 6min later, Aaron can’t help himself, still trying to recover. 😂😂😂
Imagine having to sit there the whole time and act like this guy is making great points. Brian points out all the trail cams all over and the guy says, yeah it’s really uncanny how they are able to avoid all that and intuitively just know what cameras are and where they all are.
If not for Aaron wearing a hat and a headset, there may have been enough pressure in his head for it to explode. Truly a joy watching him take in everything this episode.
Brought my 65-year-old mother to the show in Houston and when Baba O’Riley left the stage, I said, “Whoo! I love Breakfast!” And this, of course, raised immediate questions, which I was happy to answer. Yesterday, she and I were driving somewhere and talking about the show. She said, “Yeah, I liked Billy Bob!” I just gave her an approving nod with a golf clap. Very proud.
I had to go back and watch "civilian stations" again. That was pure gold. And this is the best podcast around. Hands down. Everyone should be watching this.
Whole lotta WTF in this podcast but was fun to see Aaron hold all his feelings in until “civilian station” was dropped and he lost it! Had a good contagious laugh going. Kevin not fist bumpin Aaron at the end was also gold. Wild guest choices. Enjoying the podcasts Nate. Blueberry, I’m impressed with that thick skin. Keep up the good work Big Daddy’s.
Bigfoot real? Sure. Aliens? Definitely. Time travel? No freaking way. This guest was the best yet. 🤣 Aaron's face---> "I can't believe I'm sitting here listening to this. I graduated from Notre Dame."
So I'm the guy who commented a few weeks ago about how I used to think the laugh track on sitcoms were people at home laughing and even I didn't think there was only ONE bigfoot. Come on, Biscuit and Aaron. That's just sad.
Watching Aaron try to keep a straight face next to this lunatic was the best part of this episode by far. Glad I went back and watched it. Thanks, folks!
In the beginning of the podcast, the old man just seems to be entertained by Bigfoot stories. By the end of the podcast, you will realize the old man is the Bigfoot’s spokesperson. And you’ll also be able to answer the question “what kind of person is gullible enough to fall for those scammer phone calls??” There is your answer. *talking about the guy in the front right....not in the backmiddle.
It happened! Nate’s tenuous grasp of the English language finally broke Aaron. Best moment of the episode. Great stuff on a weekly basis, folks. Thanks for the laughs!
I love how Nate confidently says Loch Ness is the same size as Lake Michigan, but Lake Michigan is bigger by 1000 times. I guess it still isn't as far off as Mick saying 100,000 babies are born every minute.
Hello folks! I'm a couple episodes behind but this is in response to Harrison's comment. Shooting my shot on Nateland, Harrison, I'm that single 29 year old woman ready for some popcorn at the drive in! To Nate, Aaron, Mick, and Bagelbites you brighten my day. Love you all!
As a kid, we lived in Puyallup, Washington in the mid 70’s, which was a hotbed for Bigfoot sightings. I was absolutely terrified I would see him walk by my bedroom window at night!
Man I love the Nateland Podcast! This one didn't disappoint, I listened to the audio at work earlier today. I could NOT WAIT to get home to SEE Aaron's reaction to Civilian Station!! I love it when a laugh hits that hard! Nate, Aaron and Babbit, keep up the great work!! Lookin' forward to the next one.
"Civilian Station". I'm so onboard with this new language that you came up with. I think I laughed as hard as Aaron. This podcast has got to be in the top 3 so far. Sooo freakin funny!! 👽 👽 👽 👽
Having hunted bear in Alaska, how eerily quiet those animals can be in the middle of thick woods is believable that large things can move quietly in those areas. Shoutout to Bigfoot Worrisome keeping up with the research.
I can’t wait for y’all to cover the legend of “Big Worry” the stand up comedian that no one can remember ever seeing perform, but he claims he can remember every attendee by name and location they saw him at.
1:47:30 Project Sun Sign and Nugga Skucky. 😂 Excellent podcast as usual, keep up the good work Nate, Genius and Brachopsedopnemonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.
I’ve never seen someone so disinterested as Aaron. So much skepticism in his eyes. Also, I’m petitioning for Brian’s name to be changed to Bigfeet Bates.
Because the conversation is just so ridiculous. I’d love to find out Nessie or Bigfoot are real. But there has NEVER been any credible evidence. Every example this “expert” brought up is……..INCREDIBLY dubious.
Hello folks.. I recently had the opportunity to correct someone on a Black Beard the pirate anecdote they made. I had to bite my tongue though. I was too worried they'd ask what my sources are.
This episode resembled the Joe Rogan Experience....minus the weed and expert, and excess on the southern. Love u guys and the podcast, keep 'em coming!
I love how these conspiracy guys know so much about these creatures without a single piece of evidence that they even exist in the first place. -There are multiple races of aliens, some are gray, some greenish... The Bigfoot will trail you on your way out... Bullets can’t penetrate them so you have to shoot them in between the eyes... And probably my favorite, Bigfoot apparently know what a camera or motion sensor IS, how to avoid them, that they should avoid them, and that humans for some reason should never have evidence for their existence. Still, I could watch this stuff for days. Good show :D
My father, now deceased, mentioned several times of instances when he was with his uncle, way back in the 1940's, and his uncle's dogs refused to leave the side of the truck used to transport them to the woods for the purpose of hunting. His uncle would hire out as a guide for sportsmen from Mobile and Montgomery, Alabama as well as other cities in the south. The dogs were a variety of hounds from blood hound to Walker hound and he also used a catch dog that was most always a bull dog of large size. These dogs where NOT pets and lived to hunt and that was their ONLY interest as they were mostly pended up most of the year until hunting season came in. One of the times when they refused to even get off the back of the old transport truck my dads uncle tried pulling them off the truck by their leashes and they immediately ran under the truck wide eyed and nervous, as dad recounted the experience. He remembered his uncle saying: "I don't know for sure what's in these woods today but these sons of bitches don't want any part of it." The area of Alabama where this happened is now know state wide as the Bigfoot capital of Alabama due to so many sightings in the past 80+ years.
I’m a little late to the party, but I just heard ‘civilian stations’ on iTunes. After listening, I had to come here to actually SEE Aaron’s reaction. 🤣🤣🤣
So of all the shots people have taken at Bigfoot creatures, no one has even accidentally killed one? Everyone just happens to just accidentally conveniently shoot one in the arm.
Cookeville, TN represent!!! I’ve been listening since day one and each week it is one of my top things I look forward to! Nate, Aaron, and Barf please keep up the okay work and please keep it up! Nate, it is pronounced ki-yo-te. I have faith that you will one day learn the English language! Gotta to go order a cake for my dog’s birthday. I’ll put it on your tab!
I loved Nates 3 levels of intelligence on the show Greater than or equal to Big Foot: Aaron and Breakfast Equal to Big Foot: Holly and Nick Less than or equal to Big Foot: Nate
I think I speak the for the rest of Nateland when I say, it is incredible to watch Nate, (continually and with such little effort) trip over his own mouth and fall backwards into comedy gold. It's like Mr. Magoo....but with the mouth. It's a thing of beauty.
Hey Nate, Aaron and Bambam. Nate, i've been playing your special on repeat so as you can buy yourself that coveted clock for your other wrist. I sincerely look forward to seeing each one of you guys live. Love British Columbia. P.S. would it kill yous to visit? I guess now perhaps yes
This guy must live really far from Nates house and Nate is such a nice guy that he couldn’t not put him on after this guy made the trip. I died when he said “it’s really uncanny how they avoid the trail cameras.” Say no to drugs kids.
If your into aliens I encourage you to watch “The Vast or Night” it’s about a radio switchboard operator in the 1950’s picking up a weird noise and getting calls about people spotting something strange...it’s a great movie and it’s not over the top
Hey guys, just saw you this past weekend in Ft. Worth. My wife and I had a blast! We both got burgers while at the show and were quite blown away with how good it actually was! Question for Nate, of all the towns you’ve been in, which had the best food/burger? Love the podcast (even Brian)!
I'm not gonna lie, at this point in the year I could get behind Bigfoot after this podcast. I also didn't know until listening to this that Bigfoot is not a singular entity but rather an overarching humanoid category. I always thought there was just one Bigfoot since it is a singular noun like the loc ness monster or the Easter Bunny! I don't know if this information I learned today will bring any knowledge to future conversations or not though...
While listening to this episode, half of me started to believe Big Foot (or Big Feet, don’t worry B-rian, I thought the same thing) really does exist and the other half of me was expecting you guys to start busting up laughing when the guy was talking.
I love the idea of wanting an alien kid's school craft as a souvenir. I have way too many of those around the house if an alien or bigfoot needed something to remember our civilian station by. This made me want to watch the 1978 film, "The Cat From Outer Space." According to my younger brother, "It was the best movie the Centralia Public Library had to offer." I'll go proofread this.
I hope that the TH-cam algorithm doesn't start giving me a bunch of ads and recommendations for all kinds of cryptozoological content after watching this. On the flip side, it's better than all the election content I get now.
Nate was on a roll until he tried to say coyotes and civilization. I’m glad Aaron wasn’t taking a drink and spit it everywhere like I did when Breakfast caught Nate’s slip up. Keep up the amazing work guys!
I like how other podcasts bring on experts. “We’re talking about space today, so our guest is a theoretical physicist.” Nateland says, “We’re talking Bigfoot, so our guest today is a guy who used to work with my sister!”
It's like Nate said in an earlier podcast. Anyone can talk to an expert; He wants to talk to the guy who doesn't believe in space. More entertaining!
I loved This😂
It is exactly as advertised.
I like the down-home feel of this podcast. “This guy worked with my sister. Welcome to the show.”
Watching Aaron try to control his facial expressions is almost as funny as anything else!
Same!
I agree!
I watched him the WHOLE time lol
Really wish NIck was on this episode just to see how long it took him to realize Bigfoot wasn’t just another nickname for Bates.
when i read this i laughed almost as hard as the mad scientist did when he heard civilian stations
This episode was truly Nate's passion project. If you don't think the best part of this episode is Aaron trying not to laugh at civilian stations, you're wrong.
''no ones ever made that mistake''. hahaha.
i read this comment before seeing the episode and was on the edge of my seat for the entire thing waiting for it to happen
Aaron breaking down and laughing uncontrollably was my favorite part. Even when he tried to reel it back in, the talk of aliens charging themselves like phones made him laugh again. Excellent ending to the show

I’m so glad I read this comment because the entire time I’m at my desk laughing, thinking how are they keeping it together? This guy is mad bonkers!
@@deucalionnoble4223 Is he? Or is that what you and your goverment hoods want us to believe?? No, he is, a total whackjob.

Kevin Jata was great - telling us a load of crazy theories without coming across as crazy himself. Most credible member of the Civilian Station.
ikr I find myslef thinkng he is so normal while he is saying absurd things
“So the Bigfoot starts throwing log-size trees at him” ...how many more ways can a statement make less sense 😆
To a bigfoot, all trees are log sized 🤔😂
How about a log-sized bon fire, and some Krispy Kremes for you and me?

Love waking up to a fresh portion of Nate, Aaron, and Bratwurst
So mad I didn’t think of Bratwurst on my own. Props, my guy

Bigfoot real? Sure. Aliens? Definitely. Time travel? No freaking way. This guest was the best yet. 🤣 Aaron's face---> "I can't believe I'm sitting here listening to this. I graduated from Notre Dame."
This comment is great!!!
It feels like Aaron is only the sane person in that room 😂😂😂😂
literally just found out there’s more than one big foot
I have bad news. There’s less than one.
I think a Civilian Stations t-shirt to be made, is in order.
Bucket looked more worried by the end of this podcast
Bucket lol
I have never seen Aaron laugh so hard. LOL It made my day. LOL
Wednesday feels like I’m hanging with some old friends now... absolutely love the show!!
nate and aaron seem to LOVE this guys' ideas, yet breathability is consistently the one grounded in skepticism.
Civilian station and Aaron's reaction was the biggest highlight of this episode. That was comedy gold.
So I'm the guy who commented a few weeks ago about how I used to think the laugh track on sitcoms were people at home laughing and even I didn't think there was only ONE bigfoot. Come on, Biscuit and Aaron. That's just sad.
Your name is now LaughTrackBoy
Even LaughTrackBoy knew there was a whole family of Bigfeet out there.
This affirms that you are the sweetest fellas in podcast land. I wouldn't be able to handle someone lying at me for over an hour.
Watching Aaron try to keep a straight face next to this lunatic was the best part of this episode by far. Glad I went back and watched it. Thanks, folks!
From 43:00 to 44:30 the number of times Nate says "yeah" lol now all I can hear is when he says YEAH.
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
I love how serious this episode was.
This has been the most entertaining one so far! Civilian Station and all!

This podcast really helps me understand the train of thought of the townies I grew up with. It's illuminating, even in unintentional ways.

What if Bigfoot was "dropped off" by aliens, with 10 of its fellow Bigfoot buddies, and it's a competition to see who lasts the longest?

Hey guys, just saw you this past weekend in Ft. Worth. My wife and I had a blast! We both got burgers while at the show and were quite blown away with how good it actually was! Question for Nate, of all the towns you’ve been in, which had the best food/burger? Love the podcast (even Brian)!
I was so hoping to make it to that Ft. Worth show, but I just couldn't swing it.... I'm so upset!
This was great.
Oh my word, Aaron's face when Kevin started talking about hybrids with the indians!
I didn't realize Rogan rebranded his podcast.
This made me want to watch the 1978 film, "The Cat From Outer Space." According to my younger brother, "It was the best movie the Centralia Public Library had to offer."
I'll go proofread this.
I enjoyed every other podcast..
