Thanks to you kind folks I have a connection with my son who is on the Autism spectrum. I drive him to a special school that is a 30 minute commute each way. For a long time we just drove in silence because he doesn’t want to talk or listen to music. I loved the Netflix special for the “unbelievable “ level of comedy and the clean humor. I turned on your podcast one morning and he didn’t say anything, I expected him to protest. He didn’t say anything for about 10 minutes and then he started laughing at everything. We love the banter, the teasing back and forth, and the sarcasm. Sarcasm is a rare thing for a person with Autism to fully grasp, but he loves it all. Now we listen every day and talk about the stuff that you guys are stumbling through. I can’t thank you enough for giving us this opportunity to share.

I was diagnosed autistic at forty. Just love your son Dave and he’ll turn out fine. Go Little Rock star. I don’t get sarcasm either. And I’m addicted to this podcast too.

I'm a 70 yr old grandma of 7 living alone with my two cats (who cares, right?) but I just wanted you to know you have a vast eclectic majority of listeners who eagerly await your podcasts. I watch/listen on my large tv while usually playing a game on my iPhone (ADD at work). When I start laughing my rear off, I look up to see Aaron beat red, trying not to laugh out loud, and it makes me laugh harder. You all bring so much joy into your listener's lives and I thank you for that. Brian, you're great, and much appreciated! Nate, I'm proud of you, all of you, for being hilarious, clean comedians. Thank you.

    Second time commenter!
I coach basketball at a middle school and towards the end of practice a player asked me what we were doing for the remainder of practice. I told him, we’ve got 10 minutes in this drill, then 10 minutes in another, and then 10 minutes in our last drill. He replied “Dang, we have an hour of practice left??” I thought to myself -what in the Nate Bargatze kind of math is this?!
Also, condolences to Aaron and his Fighting Irish..Roll Tide!

I’ve been listening since the beginning and I feel I can state irrefutably that the theme of this podcast should forever be “Never have so few known so little about so much”
All seriousness aside, love the podcast and please keep it going.

Ep 27 was exemplary! I started giggling when Nate asked Weberlikethegrill "is that a germane?", I was crying-laughing at "champagne climbing rat", and I completely lost it when Nate was quite comfortable saying he doesn't understand graphs and there's a graph problem in this country, all while sitting next to his favourite brick.
I love this show, it's the highlight of my week, keep up the great comedy gentlemen!

Super funny = Aaron and Brian trying to hold it together (or not) while Nate tries to read aloud.
Super admirable = Nate continuing to read aloud despite it all, episode after episode.
I teach junior high and high school English, and Nate, you're a great role model for kids who are afraid to read aloud; I have genuine respect for the fact that you are committed to those comments!
Keep up the fun, you guys; I've been laughing since Episode 1 (mostly with Aaron, who is a cry-laugher like I am).

Hello folks. I listen to a bunch of podcasts and this one is the one that always has me laughing. My co-workers probably think something was wrong with me on this one, because I was laughing so hard that I was crying, and trying not to be too loud. I love it, a podcast that is just silly and hilarious. They way you guys interact with each other is priceless.

I love when Aaron just gives up and tells Nate “that’s fair.” Even when Nate is arguing for something utterly atrocious; Aaron senses when it’s time to move on and says “that’s fair” so Bedpost can move the show along. Love the podcast. Can’t wait to see you on tour in Greensboro!

I was listening to this podcast at work and had to stop and switch to TH-cam at the part where Nate pronounced Chaipan “Champagne.” Both times I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair, and received quite the look from my coworker after my second outburst...I have one earbud in, so imagine what was going through her head hearing me burst out laughing and my chair lifting off the ground not once, but twice. Love the show! Nate, Aaron, and Butterfinger are the best!!

I have to imagine that the warm up routine for this podcast goes something like this: Aaron studies a thesaurus while possibly getting high, Bootylicious wires his jaw shut to remind himself to do those hard exhales through his nose, and Nate snacks on a few paint chips to make sure he doesn't pronounce words good. Mix it all together and somehow, it's the funniest podcast out there! Whatever you all do, it's working. Thanks!

This podcast reminds me of high school group projects. Brake check is the guy that does all the work and Aaron and Nate show up the day it’s due offering up tidbits like random sea turtle facts so the teacher thinks they actually helped. All jokes aside love the podcast. Keep up the good work and Happy New Years!

Great episode idea to end the year on. Been a fan of Nate for a while and after craving some Nate comedy content, I am so glad I became aware of this podcast and came to know about Aaron and Brantley in the process. It's so neat of Nate to have Brantley on the pod to offer some of his younger listeners some insights of the ways of ancient years and their archaic practices. And as a current college student, I appreciate Aaron's educated insights and his laugh is very contagious. I will never be able to find an easy way to explain why this podcast is the funniest thing to me to my friends, but you three make my week. Keep it up folks!

Nate, Aaron and Babykiller, I am a Paramedic and listening to you guys scramble over how much 30 grams is (that is so much, like an insane amount) made me start to laugh. Then when you started to break down how many pills you'd have to take each day, I started to belly laugh. Then when you started talking about going to the pharmacy and movie theater (in a pandemic!) I started to cry and had to brace myself against my bed I was folding laundry on just picturing that. To make matters worse, I have been almost immobile from throwing my back out during New Year's and even though I was in so much pain, you kept me laughing so hard. I also studied Biology in college (Gig 'Em Ags) so listening to you guys figure out life expectancies and graphs got me going, too. Thanks so much for finding the funny in such a tough year! PS, I hope you guys choose this so I can hear Nate try to say my name.

Best episode ever! Nate was on a comedy roll. The sea turtle bit was so funny and Aaron’s laughter is so contagious. The way Nate is obviously thinking and speaking improv comedy during every episode. You might say you are not smart but you are a comedic genius which is the best kind of smart. Laughter is getting me through this time period and your podcast is my 1 reason this is definitely the best time to be alive! I agree with Nate’s philosophy we can choose to be optimistic so why not make that choice. I also agree with when he said” Why not just try, just try” people always say how lucky I am but it’s because I do exactly that I just try! Get first class upgrades all the time.

Hello folks! As a data architect, I can appreciate and hate graphs all at the same time. I am a classic data guy; I like to see it tables. There are a lot of people who love data visualizations and they keep me employed. You should research the Tableau Conference. It is absolutely insane. Data is currency today. In fact - Nate, Aaron, and Bar Chart should keynote the next conference.

I thought the Nate's fake statistic about the guy trying to win an Emmy was bad, then I hear the three of you trying to figure out how many milligrams are in a gram and wonder how you've been able to survive longer than a panguin in the wild. As a licensed pharmacist, I HIGHLY recommend you don't try to figure this stuff out on your own - your local community pharmacist is great at math and can advise on the recommended doses. Great ep folks! I liked imagining Broccoli in a 1900s hospital and the nurse hands him like a Solo cup of 150 aspirin and Nate’s in the other bed next to him nodding encouragingly. Hilarious episode and I love it when you guys laugh too.

How dare you mock my family's deepest held belief in Toyotathon. I thought this was the last safe space my family and I could go without the constant ridicule. I will never listen again! See you next week.

Please do an episode on the history of words where Nate has to read words like etymology, colonel, anemone, onomatopoeia, Worcestershire, mischievous, brigadier, and debauchery. I’m laughing just thinking about how hard Aaron and Beavis would be laughing. Love the positivity and look forward to Wednesday’s because of you guys.

    Nate and team,
I love the podcast. Nate can say anything and I’ll laugh. His delivery is the best. Nate, Brian and Aaron make up an awesome team and hilarious banter. Clean comedy can still be funny!
Let’s talk about those cakes for those dogs

The thought that the dump truck might not know that it went through a wall made me think of a story from college about a guy that's now a doctor. It could even be doctor Wilson, fan of the show.
While watching college hoops and pre-gaming to go to watch Marquette play Nova at the Bradley Center, I was yuckin it up with a few guys next to me who I had just met. One of them kept wincing at random, so I asked, "Hey man, you doin alright?" thinking maybe he was feeling sick or something.
He says "no, I'm good, my back is just killing me right now."
A few seconds later, his buddy goes, "OH YEA! You got hit by a car last night" to the surprise of the guy with the hurt back. It is one of the only times I did a spit take with a drink. We all got kicked out of the bar because I spewed over the bar, but we ended up going to the game together and becoming friends.
The guy that got hit by the car is now a successful surgeon.

Heads up! This comment is the wellest!!!
After hearing the well and good adverb yada yada comment, I had to share this story with you guys...
Why we love Nate so much - my sister had a Nate moment even before Nate came into our lives!
She is an amazing 2nd grade teacher who excels at many things. Proper use of words is not one of them.
Several years ago, our family was playing the game Taboo on vacation. My Brother in law was trying to get my sister to say the word "constable" without using too many obvious words and according to his clues, she guessed - SHERIFF!
He looked at her and smiled giving her an encouraging nod and told her to "say it different".
She loudly yelled back at him... "SHERF"!
We all looked at her in disbelief.
    It.
    Was.
    The.
    Best.
    Day.
Nate - Thanks for being amazing and at times amazingly clueless!

An episode about it being the best time to be alive...I heard about the Nashville bomber, 5G being something that, apparently I should be worried about, and what happens to the decomposing bodies of "pain-guains" after unknown forces take their lives. I could use a lot of words to describe this episode, but disappointing is certainly not one of them. I love the Podcast and always look forward to laughing uncontrollably through every episode. Keep up the good work, gents!

I have a friend that worked at Walmart during college. One day a toddler ran in front of the 20 carts he was pushing. He couldn't stop and knocked the kid over. The kid was fine, but my friend earned the nickname baby-killer or "BK" for the rest of his time working there. I'm glad to know that he's in good company now with Bocephus.

Brian: hundreds of thousands of people living above the poverty line yearly.
    Aaron: hm
Brian: hundreds of thousands getting quality drinking water.
    Nate: good for them.
Brian: hundreds of thousands having internet access
    Aaron: that one's huge.
Classic Nateland. I was rolling at that one. Keep up the good work guys. Love the podcast

Gents, not to bring it back to the Krispy Kreme challenge again but I have some info you might find interesting. I went to North Carolina State University in Raleigh NC. Every year around February we had the Krispy Kreme Challenge. It is a 2.5 mile run from campus to the downtown Krispy Kreme shop where competitors stop, eat a dozen donuts, and drink a pint of milk... Then you race 2.5 miles back to the start point. Thousands of people participate and raise money for charity each year. I did it all 4 years and vomitted my first 2. Ran with a group crazy friends who would stomp on the donuts in the pavement to make them smaller... We are all Marines/Sailors now so it makes sense. Great show guys.

I just watched Tennessee kid for like the 4th time. I noticed that Nate has a stage version of his mic adjusting quirk.
On the podcast he constantly adjusts the mic but doesn’t actually move it. On stage he constantly grabs open his jacket and pulls the zippers in closer together , but it doesn’t actually move much. He adjusts his jacket on stage the way he adjusts the mic on the podcast.

I feel like you guys HAVE to do a food challenge series. Just knock out a different challenge every week or two.
I would also like to propose that every week you have a list of 5-10 words that Nate has to try to pronounce AND guess what they mean. That or read a page from Shakespeare stories. The highlight of each podcast is when he reads the comments and messes up names/words.

I can’t believe Nate & Briar Patch didn’t reference “The Bottle Deposit” episode of Seinfeld during the “Downtown” discussion. Jerry’s delivery of the “How can you lose?” lyric at Monk’s is classic.
