Thanks for the guide. I cleaned mine yesterday. Suzuki sx4. I used a kettlebell (it was in it's box) to keep the pedal depressed 😂 it had quite some soot on it from the pcv valve... I used mannol’s carb cleaner (I couldn't find the intake valve cleaner). The engine started up like yours but no codes came up. I took a test drive and could feel after cleaning that the gas response and acceleration are better, idling might be a bit quieter too. 👍🏻
Nice video, I have been cleaning it this exact way so many times in my elantra gt, with 0 problem so far, just an advice, be careful while cleaning and avoid pressing or pushing the throttle body butterfly itself 'cause you can damage the inner parts in it.
It showed a Mass Air Flow Sensor code because you turned on the ignition to open the throttle body butter fly valve while cleaning and the MAF sensor cable was disconnected.
@@KukLinSky Error codes will disappear eventually after its fixed or use a code reader from Harbor freight to erase the codes immediately. They're like $40 and come in very handy.
Ok. That happened in my car. But I can not back to normal. It is an honda crv. P0100 keep coming. No matter how many times I do disconnect the battery. The whole night disconnected. Please, some idea?
Very very dangerous ! Disconnect the electric cable to the Throttlebody first, and than open the throttle flap carefully and place some little wrench between the butterfly to keep it open.
I got a 2010 Hyundai genesis rspec 2.0t manual coupe it’s cranking but won’t start everything on dash is showing thinking it’s the throttle body. Was yours just cranking but no start??
Not if it is an electric throttle body. You could damage the sensitive motor inside or mis-calibrate it. My experience with the best results is remove the throttle body off the car, clean it and reinstall it.
Thats the first you must do when doing this job ! Thats why this guy had hard start after cleaning the Throttlebody .. The Ecu remembers the old value, its important to reset Ecu.
This is the completely wrong way.just reassemble it from car and clean it when you clean it like this what you are showing all the dirt in intake manifold will goes inside I don't recommend this way but yes if there is some problem with throttle body wire you are thinking that if I remove it may be break then dont remove it .
To prevent check engine, it's better to remove the positive connector from the battery and remove throttle body off from the car, clean it and reinstall it. Cons: you will reset the electronic systems.
Thanks for your video. But need to warn you not to spray CRC spray directly into the TB . Spray on a microfiber towel or shop paper towel
totally agree with this....spraying directly into the TB just redeposits the crud to another place.

I did mine today, thanks Ali
thanks for watching
Thank you very much, Ali. I just did mine today
You’re welcome 😊
Friend, my it just like yours but 2016 with same color. I'm wait video like this to clean the throttle in next week , thanks a lot
Glad it helped, thanks for watching
Good job ✨Thank you for sharing your knowledge ✨
Thanks for watching
Thank you. Brother should I clean throttle body as routine maintenance or only if idle issue ?
it's better to do routine maintenance when doing routine oil changes.
Yes it's better to clean it once a while so the carbon don't damage the door
Always re-learn the throttlebody, or reset the Ecu after doing this job.
Thats why the car has hard start after cleaning !
Superb.

thanks
Good video...At 2:38, what is that hose connecting to the engine top cover? Can you tell please?
Thanks.
It showed a Mass Air Flow Sensor code because you turned on the ignition to open the throttle body butter fly valve while cleaning and the MAF sensor cable was disconnected.
I did that before and didn't had any error code, but u used less cleaner before
it is true, so thats why you are able to erase error code later on. :)
Plz show me this car Map sensor where is that exactly by video plz😊

You should never put your fingers in throttle body when it is Electric…?!
Very very dangerous !

Is it better to push the throttle in manually in a slow manner rather than do it electronically by switching on the ignition?

Thank you i was like mines is stuck but the car has to be on the on position
If there is dirty in manifold and I used your way in cleaing... Is dirty will cause harm to engine?
Pushing a product
If I did move the plate on my 2015 Nissan Rogue manually to clean it. Drives fine afterwards. How do I know if I messed it up?
If it drives fine afterwards, you did not. If you messed it up, you'd know without a question not long after.
Thanks. It was fine. @@RealKansasMan

Throttle buddy😂😂😂
😅😅
I wouldn't do this on Nissans I already messed up two throttle bodies just for slightly (accidentally) opening the flap :(
I just destroyed mine last week xD
👍

hi what is the name of the tool that you use to keep the oil pedal pressed down
It's torque wrench, you can put some weight on it
your start up sequence looked off.
rpm should stay round 2k & gradually drop as the car warms up.
To prevent check engine, it's better to remove the positive connector from the battery and remove throttle body off from the car, clean it and reinstall it.
Cons: you will reset the electronic systems.
It's about first start actually, where there is something else than air in throttle body, it messes air fuel mixture, then it throws that error code
Is it harmful if carbon goes in the engine while cleaning as u did
You mean when cleaning or without cleaning ?
@@AliMECH when cleaning.. Bro :)
not harmful. solvent dissolves the carbon build up burns off after starting engine.
@@ahmadchaudhry no, crc cleaner dissolves it, thats how its been designed
If it aint broke don't fix it
Somehow I agree with that 😅🙏
Damn great. Comment. I am now in the fence whether to clean mine. I think I will do a very minimally evasive clean.
