These videos that you have been putting out for your Allison conversion kits have answered nearly all of my questions. Could you also make a video explaining what model Allison Transmissions can be used for this conversion? From what I have learned, the 1000 series and 2000 series Allison Transmission are very similar. Additionally, there are just as many 2000 series transmissions for sale and cost about the same as a 1000 series.

We only use the LCT 1000 Allison transmissions and we recommend using the LML year transmission. If you use a different year from 2006 and up, you will need our upgraded pump and possibly our upgraded valve body as well so that everything works properly. We will offer our Full Kit of course, then our Install Kit which has everything less the transmission and then just our electronics upgrade kit for those that may already have an Allison Conversion done by someone else.

Seems like it would be better, and easier, to just install the Aisen. The one that was optional on the 3500. Bulletproof transmission.

@@kevinbarry71 The aisin is hardly a bullet proof trans. They are only slightly better than the 68 and have the added bonus of being impossible to program. So while they might have better hard parts inside, the lack luster programming makes them unable to take advantage of the better design. The Allison is hands down the best HD pickup trans ever made.

@@jacobormsby9241 I realize you cannot program them. But they have an extremely good reputation for taking lots of power for very very long distances. And I wonder about those new 10 speed Allisons. Which are not Allison actually, they're just made by General Motors. I don't trust any transmission General Motors manufactures itself

@@kevinbarry71 I mean... Allison has been owned by, and therefore is, GM since 1928. So your logic is flawed. Every Allison ever put into a pickup or HD vehicle was made by GM. Kind of like how Cummins owns Holset, 2 parts of the same company.

@@jacobormsby9241 not exactly. Allison was sold in 2009. Bankruptcy and everything. It's still a separate company. And as I understand it, the new transmissions are not being built by Allison. They are just branded as Allison by permission, but built by General Motors in their own factory.
