Great learnings from this video! It will keep the 68RFE alive for a while. The ATS Allison conversion is the correct install for king lasting reliable performance I would have to say👌🏻
I enjoy Clint's videos and he explains stuff really well. Unfortunately ATS has a somewhat negative reputation out on forums and people seem to agree that their turbos are great but transmissions and valve bodies aren't holding up. I really wanted to go with ATS for my '19s performance valve body because their core charge was more reasonable, however the forums persuaded me to go with Revmax. I wish ATS luck in restoring their reputation. I think they make sound stuff but didn't want to find out otherwise. I do hope to give them some business one day because this guy Clint seems honest. Can anyone with negative or positive experiences chime in?

Only question I have, I don’t know if I missed it or it wasn’t hit on. For the CoPilot to work best do you have to make any mechanical modifications to a stock trans, or is it plug and play? How with a trans tube effect it if used with EFI Live or EZ Lynk. Thank you
Use a liquid-filled gauge to keep the needle from bouncing so much. Otherwise, a great video.

Can the co pilot be used on a stock 68rfe with all stock internals?
On my 2015 ram 2500 Cummins my copilot came with a transmission separator plate and two gaskets... Does this NEED to be installed and if I do install it what are the extra benefits? Or was this put in the box by mistake because there are NO instructions on installation.
Is this better than a transgo shift kit? Or could you do both??

Our Co-Pilot typically does not fail. We do include a jumper to block the Co-Pilot to do your testing on your end. Have you spoken with our Tech team on this?
So does the co pilot take the place of trans tune programming through efi live? Or is it more of a stand alone system?
The Co-Pilot is a complete stand alone system that includes hardware and software. The Co-Pilot has capabilities far beyond trans tuning. We recommend stock TCM tuning when using a Co-Pilot.

Yes, a Co-Pilot is superior to the capabilities of trans tuning alone. We built the Co-Pilot since no one can effectively communicate between the TCM, EPC solenoid and the transducer with TCM tuning. This is the "lie" that we talk about in the video and show the driving clips of the line pressure gauge jumping all over the place, while the Co-Pilot keeps the pressure consistent and smooth.

andybd11a we recommend no trans or TCM tuning when using a Co-Pilot.
