Ultra MagneticAL thank you for your video, i used to to install an Active Autowerke charge pipe and Intercooler! For the most part it went as you posted. There are only a few steps I had to modify that may help others out. I actually pulled the radiator fan up some, it is pretty easy to do and will save a ton of hassle when messing with the charge pipe and the intercooler. Also when I put the intercooler in I actually left the charge pipe undone from the throttle body to give it more wiggle room. But overall it took about 3 hours and your video saved me about 2 more hours of aimless and pointless work!

I did almost the same as you S2Kdrift1. I mounted the upper portion of the pipe (VRSF) but left the lower portions loose. I ended up having to lower the intercooler (CSF) on the drivers side to get the lower pipe to fit/line up right with the lower pipe, then raise the intercooler to the mounted position. Similar, but different to you, instead of moving the radiator fan up, I zip tied it backwards towards the rear of the car. I am guessing your method might have made it easier to fit the intercooler (which for me, was the worst/most difficult part). Thanks for your contributions!

Can someone please explain what the vacuum hose on the chargepipe does? Because it goes strait to the air filter intake tube. Does it not make the car loose boost as some of pressure is going strait in to the air filter pipe?

Do the pipes have to slot in to the Grove on the middle of the silicone hose or do they stay on the outside of it ?

Is it unnecessary to replace turbo to intercooler charge pipe? I know ER offers one but not sure if I should get it done while I replace intercooler.

It is apparently common for the plastic charge pipe to grow old (rather quickly) and crack under boost leading to lost boost pressure and inaccurate air volume readings between the air flow sensor and the engine.

How on earth did you squeeze the thing in between the trim piece and the radiator while not getting caught on the front cross brace? I tried for two days straight and could never get it in there.

Same here, I had to remove the bumper because my CSF intercooler got stuck against that cross brace. Once the bumper was removed, the trim piece was able to move out of the way enough for the intercooler to get in

What kind of intercooler was it? What that plastic front of the intercooler a pain while reinstalling the cooler? Any tip or tricks to it?

active autowerks FMIC, but the process is mostly the same for all other brands. the plastic is part of the bumper, i think. it's pretty flexible

Allen Barreno you didn’t have to cut the bumper or fit?
