    I discovered your channel yesterday from a TH-cam recommendation and I have already binge watched and recorded the recipes from at least a dozen and subscribed and liked the videos. I really appreciate that your recipes are gluten free (the primary concern for me above and beyond anything else) as well as being plant based using Whole Foods and are easy to make with mostly normal ingredients and represent the types of meals many of us typically eat, just made GF and Vegan. Thank you for sharing your story and your recipes. Along with many others, I really appreciate your work. If you publish one, I will buy your cookbook.

      I'm Sooo Sure I've found that place where this can happen !!! My body needs some good stuff, also, that seems very uncompleted to do and Will taste different~ BUT satisfying and Amazing !!!
      Been watching so many of Your videos !!! Now I just have to get the vegan products to make it. I have never seen the Lion Mushrooms You use for bacon & Pot pies.

    Thank you! I learned years ago, for making your sandwich taste most flavorful: place inside your sandwich the ingredients from the most flavorful ingredient first (on the bottom), and then placing the rest of the ingredients in order of most flavorful to least flavorful. That way your tongue will taste the most flavorful ingredient first, and more strongly. (ex: place in order: bacon, tomato, avocado, lettuce, unless you are using the lettuce to avoid the bread from getting soggy). It actually does make a difference to your taste buds :) I can't wait to make these bagels, thank you for sharing how to make them!

    Can I just use more of the quinoa flour if I am not interested in all that extra protein? I feel I get plenty of protein in my diet and don't want to add extra to my food. Thank you for your channel. I love your recipes and the fact that you give options for your ingredients.

    Was linked to your video from an email from Conpliment. As a gluten free vegan who’s look to increase their protein consumption in delicious ways, you have a new follower. I love that your videos are clear and that you include the recipes below in the description for easy access. Just a couple of questions. I had thought that protein powder can be negatively affected by high heat. Do you know differently? Also, I don’t have easy access to an oven, just a gas stovetop. How would I best bake these on the stove? Many thanks for all you do! ❤❤❤

    • @healthyveganeating
      @healthyveganeating  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am not sure how to make them on the stovetop. As far as heating protein ... I have only been privy to research regarding the effects of heating rice and pea protein. In the studies I read, heating pea protein resulted in some positive results in infant formulas and the absorbency was not negatively effected overall by heating.

      @@healthyveganeatingthanks! Interesting reports. I will be looking forward to seeing what I can accomplish making it on the stovetop. (There are stovetop bread recipes, so I’m pretty hopeful). Will update after I have a chance to make them.

      Needing lots of protein, particularly as we age, is a common misconception. It is factually wrong. Humans go through their fastest growth period as infants when they are consuming about 7% of calories as protein from their mothers' milk. That's not very much. Furthermore, the only thing that makes muscles grow is resistance exercise, nothing else. Scientifically proven fact. Another thing to consider is that the body cannot store excess protein which is eliminated from the body by the kidneys. This puts a big load on the kidneys and is one of the main causes of kidney disease and loss of kidney function. There's no need to worry about protein, you get all you need from a healthy whole plant food diet consisting of mostly complex carbohydrates (like grains and potatoes) with some vegetables and fruit. Look up Dr McDougall, he'll explain it.

I am afraid if I omit that and don't substitute for something else the consistency of the dough won't be right 🤔 Any suggestions? Thank you again for sharing 🙏🥯🥯🥯🥯
