This game did one major improvement over the other which makes it good no matter what. Sonic has a life bar instead of relying on rings. The ring system sucks. If you get hit you can take back your rings. It,s very easy to infinitly take back your hit point which makes you almost always invincible. And rings are everywhere in the levels aswell. It,s weird that poeple don,t think that Sonic games are very easy considering this. I personally give myself a limit for 30 rings for each added hit and kill myself or restart if i can,t handle that.
"Now SONIC and MARIO are good friends forever, NOBODY can separate them. SONIC loves NINTENDO. MARIO loves SEGA" Seriously? This game author misses the point in Nintendo and Sega being rivals. That can separate them. Well, that is basically a bad plot to a sonic bootleg game's ending. Also, if Sega and Nintendo are rivals, but the game says Mario loves Sega, and Sonic loves Nintendo... Doesn't that ruin the point in rivals?

The Speedy Gonzales game this is totally not based on has more levels, non-glitchy graphics, and more then 4 songs! Kind of makes you wonder what happened, why not just replace Speedy with Sonic graphically? Oh but then again it's not based on that game so that must be why.
