The companies training security guards now have a lot to answer for, it's like they'll give anyone a badge. We should really be thankful, it makes great content! 😉
There was a time if you were unemployed for a few months the job centre would put you through the SIA course. My friend worked security for years and would complain as so many new starters were there because they had to be and not because they wanted to be.

Common law use of force requires the force to be kept to a minimum and to be only used when absolutely necessary. So just because someone says no or doesn't move within milliseconds doesn't mean force can be used. Look at travellers setting up camp in a patch of land and how the courts have to be involved to get them removed even though they are trespassing even more than a person who is a few feet onto some property and doing nothing more than use a camera.

His approach could have been better, but to be honest even though he did incorrectly try to stop you filming, he was calm about questioning you. But DJ I like how you get people to realise that their business is none of yours, but then the penny drops, that your business is none of theirs.

The four units where DJ is auditing & educating is phase 2. Phase 3 will be three units about 900k ft2 total between the retention pond and A1 scheduled to open 2025. A phase 4 is planned beyond 2026. Tritax Energy coordinates with occupying businesses on roof solar installation and also provides backup power units. The land was part of Stratton Farm. edit: Along the rear of phase 1 from A1 and past Noatum is a public footpath and others running through the industrial and perimeter. Tritax Symmetry does note they rerouted some public footpaths from the farm era.

Saying the security guards at this place weren’t nice to you is a bit of a stretch. If anything DJ was quite antagonistic. Getting too easily triggered by being (wrongfully) told by someone (ignorant of the law) that you can’t do something (you know you can) is quite sad. I understand this sort of reaction if they’re being aggressive or rude but this one didn’t seem warranted.

I’m an Amateur radio instructor. Your handheld may work but will work much more efficiently (pick up weaker signals) when the antenna is vertical. It’s a matter of the polarization of the antenna. When the guard is so close picking up his transmission is easy but another transmission from a further away transmitter might not be picked up clearly.
I am sure if you look closer at the edge of this roof you will see a perimeter safety cable system for maintenance folks to clip on too. These may be or should be mandatory on new builds in your area. Perhaps another point of interest to look into/research.
What I love in this Dj audit stuff is the incompatible sense of humour. Guys, live is not here to be angry. It is an important audit! He must do his audit! It is an audit and audits must be done from time to time. I also like the first security guard. He has my full respect. Because he anticipates the situation very well.
First few times I've watched this guy and he does come across as deliberately provocative. It is not unusual for someone to question why you're recording. If someone turned up outside my house I'd be alarmed and want to know why they are recording. A corporate would also be alarmed. Regardless of what side of the law you're standing, he could do better by de-escalating rather than antagonise. Guess that would result in fewer views. Either way, channel is not for me.

A pristine pressed orange hi-viz, complete with accessories, lanyard, pens, camera, phone, clipboard and buttoned all the way to the top denotes either a management visitor or clueless office worker venturing out into the hostile outside world.
Usual scenario, send out the security to lie to you about rules and boundaries and attempt to bully you away, then if that doesn't work, go out yourself and be all nice so to attempt to make it securities fault. Time and time again that happens, but who do they think they are kidding 😂

It's starting to get annoying how many people come up to you and say something along the lines of "stop filming" "you need permission" "you can't film private property" and when you tell them you won't be stopping, you don't need permission and you can film private property they THEN go on to ask "so why are you filming". You shouldn't entertain their inquiry. They've just tried to stop you from going about your business and when that fails they then want a friendly chat? fuck that. Hope in future you point out they've tried to hold some sort of illegitimate authority over you so you have no interest in any amicable conversation with them. It would be like you telling them to stop making their product because you don't like it and when they say no you'd then try to ask about their business. It's ridiculous!
We never know what someone is going through, we start off the day in a good mindset, we could get a call which is bad news Who knows a family member may be ill, We may be a part time carer for someone, and trying to make ends meet, How you interact with another person speaks volumes, be nice people as best as you can ❤
Dj you should come to liverpool on long lane Aintree next door to Taskers superstore as they are building a huge Merseyside Fire and Rescue Station which will also have the uk second biggest training facility outside of the capital. Also on site also they are building outhouses for the other special operations for such as severe RTC’s and severe Fires where they use the portable offices and CPL ( combined platform ladders ) and an ambulance support for the fire and rescue operations. They have been building for a few months now but the size of the place is so huge. You can view from outside in the public footpath which is right outside on the main road or you can go onto the public footpath which is known as the loop line which is located at the back of the facility.

The skips that are undercover are most likely going to be compactor skips, commonly used for cardboard and packaging materials
