      Demanding you need to delete your images is basically threatening behaviour. The security has no right to stop you going about your lawful business.
      Approaching a member of the public in a threatening manner is grounds for dismissal.

      There are lots of places you don’t have a reasonable expecting of privacy. There’s lots of legislation around it.

      @@philbertb well if they say yes then when they are put on the spot like that they don’t really want to say “yes”because that sounds dodgy(like they have something to hide) and then everyone is going to want to know what they’re hiding and when lots of people are interested, it’s harder to keep a secret etc. Haha, something like that anyway. Trust me, it’s a clever response, I mean did you see the guys gears turning when he asked him “why have you got something to hide” ?
      I thought that was the obvious one that’s why I explained the “no” side of things on the binary explanation 😝

    I think if anyone broke into a site with that much security, and stole a whole lot of goods.       It appears to be a standard response from security who assume they have an element of authority over anybody remotely close to their 'patch'
      Good idea about asking him to apologise...always worth giving someone the chance to rectify or improve the situation
      Of course you are right that he most likely wouldn't have but still worth trying!

What's the difference between anyone who sees DJ's video and anyone who was there in person, without a camera? The view and content, whether eyes or video is exactly the same.     Tim was brilliant! But I'm glad I no longer work with security. Almost all the ones I have worked with have no idea about the law whatsoever.

    Tim needs to be employed to teach security guards the laws on public photography and dealing with members of the public filming private property from public land. He was spot on in his approach and his knowledge of public photography.

    Wow,they are so ignorant of their imaginary powers and people in general are so ignorant of their own rights. I don't blame the untrained and clueless staff i definitely blame their lack of training from the relevant body and the take over of government acts and statutes over common law. Dj and the other channels exercising their rights are a god send in these times where hoax events are used to usher in more control of the innocent citizens and chipping away at our rights. Great educational video. The last guy was great and hopefully this incident will speed up the urgency of retraining and somebody please please please train the police back from stormtroopers against the people trying to generate revenue for THEIR government for victimless crimes and turn them into the wonderful honourable constables of old.

    Tim wins employee of the year! As for the calling the Police issue, I think emergency call operators should be trained in dealing with "They are filming our company" callers, hopefully they have by now.
