@@isabellesteele6008 Vinegar is acidic as I suspect you know by now. You can only make heartburn worse. Heartburn, by the way is not the same thing as acid reflux.
This is the correct explanation of Acid Reflux or GERD. Most doctors don't know this. I suffered bigtime with it for almost 3 yrs. Thank God I did my own research. Most doctors are careless in giving prescription concerning this.
hello New Etman........You sound similar to what I say . Especially doctors could care less about the patients. Next month March 25, 2023 , I have had this Gastritis / GERD , Erosion Esophagus and Low stomach acid. I am so ready to be well , This has been the hardest stressful life. I have been to 3 GI doctors and not one of them, spoke to me about diet , so I had to do that myself and now I am taking supplements to see if I will heal up . Could you tell me what research you have found to heal your stomach and what supplements are you taking, or are you healed???? Thank you .
Believe me, the doctors know this very good, and much more as we think. But pharmacy industry is miracle of todays life, and their job is give you a diagnose, and prescribe you a pill.

Hello. I have had digestive problems for 3/4 of a year. But they are getting better. The keys for me has been prayer, raw honey, bananas, cabbage, cutting out sugar, taking papain I call "papaya pills" aswell as fenugreek seeds. Grains, fried foods, and vegetable oil all make me miserable.
I had acid reflux for many years. Id go to the doc and they would just prescribe me new meds that never really worked. I lost 50 lbs and got in shape while changing my diet and never experienced it again. I know it sounds like a no brainer but when you are over weight you don’t think about it and the doctor sure never gave me that advice. Hope this helps anyone that may be in the same situation i was. Most of the time it is caused by being overweight or by what you are eating. I also do not experience other health problems i had as well. Not saying this works for all but it will for those of you like me
Great video, thanks. His main points: -Add Betaine HCL - take 2-3 capsules (1300mg) eat before meal -Ginger - suck on a piece to soothe tissues, GI tract -Dried ginger powder capsules - can take 2 after meals. -You can also shave the ginger peel into salads, curry, also into water with ice -Probiotics - fermented foods -apple cider vinegar - swallow 2-3 capsules before eat -Take Zinc-L-Carnosine Complex, 90 Veggie Caps Main cause of acid reflux: Deficiency of chloride and potassium :You could be infected with bacteria: H.Pylori (Refined grains, sugar damage stomach lining) Painkillers damage mucus membrane in your gut and friendly bacteria EAT RAW CABBAGE: sour cabbage, purple, red, white (to heal damage) EAT HIMALAYAN OR CELTIC SALT CHEW FOOD MORE OFTEN DRINK CARBONATED MINERAL WATER when you wake up
I was just thinking that I haven’t Acid reflux for almost 5yrs then it came. I’m suffering for it for almost two wks now. When I saw this very informative video-- I said to myself “what a relief”.
This is Crazy. Just yesterday I had a bad acid reflux and somehow this came up about acid reflux. Our Phones are really listening to everything we say because I never typed or searched for this. Big brother always watching

Just try saying something out loud on your phone, like maybe what type of pizza too cook and give your phone atleast 30 mins and close your TH-cam and open it and scroll down and am sure something about pizza will be there
Regarding ginger. Anytime anyone in my home is nauseas I make them ginger tea and let it steep a solid 5 minutes. Yes it’s a strong “burning” taste, but I usually severe it chilled over ice and it works very well.
I have been taking high doses of Prilosec, Zantac, tums, and mylanta for years! I tried to get off of them a few times and my heartburn was so bad I was hospitalized! Fresh aloe Vera blended with coconut water. ( I used pink coconut water). The relief is instant, after having a burning and severe pain in my abdomen for over 15 hours. I’m thankful and grateful for remembering that I’ve seen those drinks in the store and I just know that coconut provides a coolness feeling when I drink it and I know aloe Vera is a healing plant, it worked wonderfully on me. ❤❤❤
I love all the info. I have had two surgeries and the last was June 2022. My intestines had somehow wrapped around my esophugus and I had trouble eating anything solid. Had choking and severe reflux. Tried many meds. Nothing works but will try some methods listed on comments. My last surgeries were not successful and the last was very painful as the doctors went through my back. Not good. Two of my children have severe reflux and are checked every six months even as adults. All the best to all suffering with this.
❤it’s most true in my experience. I want to mention about my experience. When eat more as like 30s age . So when you cross 50 please eat less otherwise it will kill you. So your valve keep strong. Enjoy the life everyone.
This is what helped me with reflux: 1) 12 0z cold water 2) one whole squeezed lime 3) two teaspoons of ACV 4) 2 inch square of aloe vera gel Leaf (2 inches x 2 inches) - Blend the cold water with aloe vera. Next, cut one like and squeeze into the blended aloe vera. Lastly, add two teaspoons of ACV. Use a straw to drink. Add ice cubes if you like. Drink this before each meal.
Thanks. You are an eye opener and not one of the commercial advert hypocrites. I have been taking omeprazole and Nexium for years with no good result. Let me try this from today onwards.

I can vouch for all the information provided in this video! Best explanation ever! Ginger is a life saver plus breathing exercises. Thank you for this!
It's the food!! When I switched to a plant based diet after watching a food documentary, my heartburn stopped. I have had heartburn 6 times in the last 3 years. Yes, I know exactly because it is rare for me now, when before I carried baking soda in my truck for relief because heartburn was so frequent and unbearable. No dairy, no processed foods, and a lot of rice, beans, potatoes, greens, salads, etc. This worked for me and cost me no medication nor trips to the doctor's.
This is such an excellent video because it connects all the dots from before and after acid reflux. Not only do I now know what is happening in my digestive system, I can resolve my issues with natural solutions!!!! I can't thank you enough!!!!!!!!!!🤗

I took acid reducers for years due to chronic acid reflux and occasional upper stomach pain. Then I stopped taking any acid reducer. I started taking probiotics daily for awhile, and my acid reflux went away completely. The only time it came back was when I ate pomegranate. Since then I do get a tiny bit of acid reflux if I eat poorly, too much, or too late at night, but generally it's gone. I also don't take the probiotics daily, but occasionally. Prebiotics actually work even better for me than probiotics, but they're both good. Long story short, as I slacked in taking probiotics, I found out that I have gallstones, with no blockages. That's a whole other can of worms I won't address here. I now had an illness that made me very sick. I recognized the pattern of an attack. It would start as a small stomach ache, and get worse and worse until I feel like I will certainly vomit. I've learned how to prevent it, but it's at the point where I could. Basically I have a combination of two stomach illnesses, each with different symptoms and treatments, but for me, it makes no difference. All I know is what upsets my stomach, and what helps it. You'll have to decipher which helps what, but in a nutshell, I had to give up my beloved coffee and chocolate, and any other beverages or foods with caffeine. I have to be careful of some medications or natural remedies that have caffeine. Also unfiltered water with chlorine, sucralose, and anything that interferes with my stomach flora, causes me problems. During an attack, or if my stomach is not quite right, I take papaya enzymes or fresh papaya, a green apple, or ginger tea. These are wonderful miracle workers for a stomach ache. Having said all of the above, the number one helper of all has been, glutamine powder. Apparently it creates a protective layer for my stomach lining. It's the main thing that has helped to heal my gut. My liver was outta whack, then it went back to normal after taking glutamine powder. Wow. I confess that occasionally I will test the waters in indulging in a little chocolate. If I overdo it, my stomach will let me know, as I will likely get an attack. Junk food and sweets also cause attacks. You'd think I would know better. So, I'm very grateful to have a solution to my stomach ailments, as I suffered greatly for months. Now it's just me I gotta fight with to do what's best for my belly.😅

Another thing that can help a lot is not eating too close to bedtime. Last food of the day six hours before bed is good and probably enough, although the timing will vary from person to person -- some may need even longer, others may do OK with 4-1/2 hours before bed.
You're right. I really agree with you. It works with me. But, I also used probiotics, fresh ginger, and apple cider vinegar. These three also help me a lot in relieving my acid reflux in the past 3 years together with 5 to 6 hours eating gap before sleep. The best experience i can share to relieve and treat acid reflux for a longer period effect of 2 to 3 months is 5 to 7 consecutive days pure fasting (water only). Another one process i tried for almost the same effect is intermittent fasting with lowcarb diet - a combination of 1 time lowcarb eating per day and 2 times lowcarb eating per day. My lowcarb eating process is like this - lowcarb diet on breakfast and the next eat of lowcarb is lunch. Thats 6 hours gap between breakfast and lunch. No solid foods in between, just take only water and sometimes black coffee without sugar. After lowcarb lunch, the next solid foods/lowcarb to take in would be the next breakfast. That is, 18 hours gap/fasting of no solid foods between lunch and breakfast. Note: this daily program must be for 2 consecutive weeks to effectively relieve acid reflux. During the 2-week program of intermittent fasting of lowcarb diet, no acidic drinks or carbonated drinks. Of course, after 5 to 7 days pure fasting or 2-week intermittent fasting & lowcarb diet, to maintain good health - i mean, no acid reflux for longer period the 5 to 6 hour gap eating habit before night sleep must be observed everyday. I did try these processes for relieving my acid reflux. It's very effective for me.
@@goldenlass9488 You can also just put a small block under each of the top legs of your bed, putting the whole bed at a slight angle. It doesn't take much, just a few degrees will do it.
@@debbiec6216 yes, that's right. I agree with you because i once did the same for 1 month last year for treating/reversing my type 2 diabetes without any diabetic drugs. But I did that only after 1-1/2 months of 2 times a day lowcarb diet & intermittent fasting. Congratulations for successfully doing it. It's not easy to do. It can only be done by those who have strong determination, focus and discipline for achieving and maintaining good health.
I agree with not eating heavy foods before bedtime. But I actually was watching this at 3am and couldnt help but eat ramen and a slice of bread. But before i eat i took a sip of a hot Litpton green tea, and after i ate I drank the rest of Green tea from my tea cup again. I slept. Now i woke up and still dont have the attacks. If u hv overeaten then a simple action can help u, just lift your arms & exhale fully. Also helps in acid reflux. Our lungs press down on the poor stomach & lungs are huge compared to the size of stomach so this action relieves the physical stress
I’ve tried everything you recommended in this video it did not work for me at all the only thing that has completely stoped cured my acid reflux has been controlling Stress and Anxiety it’s very very important that your stress and anxiety are controlled much more than any foods or vitamins at least that’s the case for me. Also do not drink coffee on a empty stomach it’s very very very bad !!!!!!!
@@debbiec6216 in my opinion Stress and Anxiety are the caused for 90% of all illnesses and disease not cigarettes not Alcohol or Sugar. If your not Stressed or Anxious non of those things will hurt you.
Bingo! Most of these remedies. Particularly those that are very acidic made my problem WORSE. Those acidic remedies are also murder on your teeth. I really don't know why these things are reported so much on TH-cam. The first thing you should do other than paying your doctor a visit is reduce your stress levels. Anyone who doesn't mention that first off doesn't know WTF they're talking about. Just listen to the enormous amount of crap you will need to add to your grocery list. This is insane. Here are my tips Reduce stress See your doctor Stop smoking Exercise Avoid foods and activities that cause flare ups Plenty of rest St. John's Wort supplement to calm your nerves GTFO TH-cam
The food which aggravate are Tomatoe, orange, pineapple, high fat foods, and fries. Avoid them and use banana, yogurt, apple, and oat meal for breakfast. I used to had acid reflux problem but now I am ok
For healing your gut you need discipline and certainly need to regularize a healthy regimen. Try one thing then include another slowly and gradually. Furthermore, as a follower of Christ I can tell you that you need to bring your stress to him daily. Pray like Daniel three times a day. That's the remedy no one is speaking about. Thing is so many people here are stressed out and that unfortunately makes the GI tract go haywire. Fight that stress until you get it right. Pray away those bad habits. Truth is we are creatures of habit and unfortunately nothing will work if you keep eating late, drinking alcohol, eating fatty/oily foods and not getting the right amount of nutrition regularly. Get rid of wheat, some of those GMO foods, drink lots of water, exercise and TRUST GOD for daily guidance. We need God more than a regiment trust me.

Very good information. I had gastritis for over 20 years and doctors had prescribed antacids, milk of magnesium, licorice, tagamet, zentac and nexium. Nexium was worse. It made me depressed. This is an insanely impressive and helpful video- it's refreshing to not see the same old rhetoric about reflux. If you can, get a stool test done with a practitioner and find out if you have h pylori or parasites. Hiatal hernia, constipation, and food sensitivities are more causes of reflux. I tried everything for reflux, and I have multiple different causes (leaky gut, hiatal hernia, h pylori, bacterial imbalance, food sensitivities, mineral imbalance). Nothing has eliminated my reflux and now all thats left to treat is my food sensitivities which I now see have been affecting me WAY more than I realized by causing severe gut inflammation and preventing it from healing. Those are treated with an elimination diet which is not easy sadly. My reflux is only better when I avoid food sensitivities (which I have many) so I just have to heal the gut and stay on an elimination diet for a while until hopefully my gut heals. Please never underestimate the power of food sensitivities... you shouldn't have them forever if you just take a long break from them and heal your gut. Many people have had success with it, definitely look into it if you haven't heard much about it
@@debbiec6216 Yeah, testing for h pylori isn't always accurate sadly. My breath test showed nothing but my stool test revealed h pylori, they also can hide in biofilms which might be one reason why breath testing doesn't always detect them. My biopsy didn't detect my h pylori either, but still the stool test did. My practitioner said that it's because the biopsies won't always be taken in areas where h pylori is at, so it doesn't mean it's not there. I wish more GI doctors would do stool testing. They also do make supplements to break down biofilms, something that bacteria hide in. And for food sensitivities- leaky gut causes them so look into leaky gut and see if that's something that you might have, or had before. if so, then chances are you may have food sensitivities. there are independent labs you can go to, to get testing for food sensitivities, they say that they're not always accurate but mine turned out to be true from experience, it can be worth experimenting with at least; otherwise you can rule them out slowly with a base elimination diet, it can help you to notice your reactions to food slowly over time. It's a pain to deal with and you also would have to be careful to make sure you're getting enough nutrients from food,, but you'd start by eliminating common triggers like gluten, dairy, soy, etc. For me that wasn't enough, I had to eliminate grains too and am on a diet similar to the AIP diet. Eventually the more you experiment with food & trying to "re-introduce" certain foods, you can start to notice your reactions to them more strongly. There's a lot of good information out there on it too if you search Google

Thankyou so much for sharing this information! I have read or come across other videos, but your video is so much easier to to understand & follow! It gets right to the point of what foods & supplements which will help. I was in the hospital this year ( the end of January) due to having a heart attack. I was unconscious for 5 or 6 days … I’m blessed to be alive, thanks to my husband giving me CPR until the EMT’s got my heart started. It’s a miracle I didn’t have any heart damage, they did put a stent in my artery. My point is that I never thought or realized I had Gerd until they released me from the hospital. I had a stomach ulcer now & put on medications for that & pantrapozole for Gerd. Well it’s gotten worse! I was weaning myself off the pantrapozole & the Gerd was worse than EVER! I try everything the doctors tell you….not eating at least 3 hrs before bedtime, I even raised the head of my bed. He has mentioned probiotics but not in the way your video has. Also I showed him a bottle of Betaine HCI to ask him if it was okay to take….he said sure, couldn’t hurt but he didn’t seem to even know what it was. Anyway, sorry for the rant but I just want this Gerd to get under control, thanks again.
Eat vitamin D3 1000 in an oil capsule type. Each day, 2 at a time. I did that just for better health and in six months the acid reflux was gone. I wasn't even doing it for that at all. Three a day might do it because Vitamin D3 stops inflammation everywhere. Work up to three a day depending on your weight. I just take it in the day and I don't need antacids anymore. Another thing, is to make sure you burp while you are in the middle of eating. Get that gas out of there. I drink a can of Sprite through a straw and make sure I burp. We all have to try what works best for us but that vitamin D3 in an oil capsule was a surprise to me. But I still never eat what I know will give me acid reflux during the afternoon and evening. And get those burps up.
@@debbiec6216 Try it WITHOUT the K2. K2 didn't suit me at all. Try the D3 oil capsules on their own. That's what worked for me. K2 does something else and I didn't take it. D3 on it's own stops inflammation all over the body. It just happened to hit my acid reflux and what a relief. But it took a steady diet of it every day. I wasn't working towards anything when I took It. It was 6 months before the pandemic. And then, they discovered that those people short of D3 were getting the worst symptoms. D3 in an oil base. Not those little white, hard dried out pills. They don't go to the right place and you just pass them right out in the bathroom. Try D3 IN AN OIL BASE. The oil takes them to the correct place in your body. But you must also stop eating the foods that you notice give you the acid reflux. That K2 was not for me. We are all different but try the oil based D3 on its own. (3 capsules a day will not harm. 1000IU x3. once a day.)
This video is very good. I have done lots of research for years on acid reflux (I am not a doctor, I just have had GERD for several years) and this may be the most comprehensive video that I have seen. For anyone new to acid reflux/GERD, I would suggest following as much of this info as you can. I have a very good holistic doctor (finally, after years of going to doctors who wanted me on PPI's the rest of my life) and she would probably agree with everything here. One thing to add from my doctor is to add a tablespoon of aloe vera gel to any liquid apple cider vinegar to it won't harm your esophagus going down (or just do the ACV capsules).
I have also done lots of researching on acid reflux as I suffer also-and agree with you that this is a good video! Your comment on aloe vera gel is spot on and I hadn't thought of. Thanks.
I suffered from Gerd and acid reflux for years, then I discovered that once a year I didn’t suffer. So I started asking myself what are you eating differently. The answer was apples, as I only eat them in season in Michigan. Just Apples did the trick. 🍎 🍏 🍎
That's what the GI doctor said - an apple a day! There is an enzyme in them that works against GERD. I eat one after dinner and no acid at night or in the morning!
@@Prachtoshsonu What does Apple cider Vinegar come from? I take 2 tblsp Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother daily in 8 oz of water I don't alway drink it down in one sitting but sip throughout the day.
can you explain ...you suggest the stomach contents acid level is too low ie more alkaline and this cause the Les to open and reflux ...if this is the case then surely refluxing alkaline contents would not cause any damage to the oesphagus as its Alkaline ! ...The opening of the LES is a also highly regulated and is not as simple as gaseous content of the stomach cause it to open. In reality the LES has weakened and fails which allows the highly acidic contents to damage the oesphagus . thats why ppis are used to make the contents more alkaline to allow the damaged area to heal ..
Probiotic is one of the best options. Before taking Probiotic, my esr reading was really high. But after a few weeks of taking it, my esr reading was within the normal range. It really works..

For those who have ulcers already, please do not abruptly stop taking proton-pump inhibitors (i.e. omneprazole) as your symptoms will come back strongly. You need to wean from it gradually..

How do you know your gastric is already in an ulcer form ?because I am having to much burning sensation in my stomach especially after eating. and I do belge every minute
@@elatchristine1846 Ulcer is mostly caused by H.Pylori bacteria. There are tests for that. A urea breath test - you'll be given a drink containing urea (a chemical that's broken down by H. pylori) and your breath is then checked after. Or a stool antigen test - a small stool sample is tested for the bacteria. When signs or symptoms do occur with H. pylori infection, they are typically related to gastritis or a peptic ulcer and may include: An ache or burning pain in your stomach (abdomen) Stomach pain that may be worse when your stomach is empty. This is a very good video, but I wish this video and others like it would mention that probiotics are not found in canned pickles or canned sauerkraut. In fact, it is hard to find the pickles that contain probiotics, but the ones that do are refrigerated. The sauerkraut that contains probiotics are refrigerated as well.
I've been on lansoprazole for around 18 years (since my mid 20s). I've often wondered if I'm not absorbing the correct amount of nutrients from food, and I've had pretty bad IBS and very smelly trips to the toilet. Last week I saw a video about Betaine Hcl, so decided to try probiotic tablets with B-Hcl and stop my medication. So far, I'm still getting some reflux, but not as bad as normal (if I was to miss a day of meds). Also, my toilet trips are fewer and not as unpleasant for my family :D
Just to update, it’s been two weeks now: Digestive enzyme tablets with Betaine Hcl, Cut back on gluten (not completely though), Reduced my pain medications for slipped disc (I can live with pain if it means my stomach is better). Cut back on sugar (but not completely). I’ve not had any reflux over the last 3 days. Stomach hasn’t hurt, I’m not as hungry so not over-eating. It’s great! I drink the odd kombucha (it takes a bit of getting used to) and I’m eating sauerkraut most days. I feel a lot better and encourage anyone who was in my position to do the same!
My husband suffered for years with heartburn & acid reflux. I wish I knew about these health solutions to help him. He was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer above his stomach and passed away 6 months later after just turning 63.
So sorry about your husband’s early passing. He was so young. I was diagnosed in 2015. I’m still on and off chemo and have lost a lot of my energy. My sincere condolences and all the best to you and your family. Nancy
BINGO. This is perfect advice. PPI’s only treat the symptoms and do not get to the route of the problem. Since I started taking Betaine HCL with meals this has improved my GERD and and LPR greatly. The most important factor is poor dietary habits. I need to be more careful in what I eat and I expect this will solve the problem completely. Always check with your physician, but expect that they will prescribe PPI’s.
I can validate all the steps outlined here. I’ve been doing this for the last 8 months and I’m now off my PPI’s. I was on them for over 20 yrs. It’s a process that I have had to continue/maintain. If I stop using my HCL, etc…. the GERD returns.
@@elisejames7110 I haven’t yet coz after stopping abruptly for 5 straight months, the symptoms are back.. I’m back to taking PPI again. Though I’m feeling better with taking the right probiotics, plus, green tea, cabbage juice, eating veggies… and, when I get confident and when my gut is getting healthier, i will start to wean myself of PPI.. that’s the plan 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I followed the show here and on other channels. Pretty much the same stuff. Started taking HCL and a shot of ACV diluted with water. First week was tough, but it got much better. If I stop the HCL, it starts coming back. Avoid seed oils, processed foods and eat keto at the dinner hour. Eat early and allow 4 hrs before bed. Also taught myself to sleep on my left side. That really helps. It's still a battle and I know when I'm cheating because it starts coming back. This is what worked for me.... Your mileage may be vary
Plus, my probiotics is my sourdough starter. All natural, and billions of live cultures. Healthy tablespoon stirred in a glass of warm water and drink it down
Thanks for this, i suffer from terrible heartburn on a daily basis, sometimes acid reflux and terrible problems in trying to swallow some foods, i will take everything u have said in and try and fix the problem before its too late...
Started experiencing heartburn when I was 8 or 9 years old, diagnosed by my mom. She'd allow me to eat a little raw cabbage, which I loved (still do) with a pinch of salt. That helped somewhat but not for long. Learned to live with antacids from about age 12 on up to 2018, when I started Keto and learned the benefits of ACV. Haven't had a problem since. Love your videos. Excellent!
Really glad to read that you got over the heartburn, it's been a consistent problem in my own life until I too discovered keto and digestive aids. Thanks for watching it. 💚
I think the main cause of acid reflux is not too high or too low stomach acid levels, I think it is stress and/or anxiety. When the body is stressed or anxious it changes priorities to make things like breathing and energy for muscles, so as to run away in the fight or flight process. This means that the digestives system gets de-prioritised and neglected and stops functioning properly. I only ever got acid reflux when I got bad anxiety. Since the anxiety has waned the acid reflux has also declined.
@@debbiec6216 I think taking digestive medication can cause complications and/or reliance. The root cause is the anxiety. The only cure for anxiety is to face whatever making you anxious head on. So, if having financial worries makes you stressed, you need to either improve your income or mentally accept your situation, so that it doesn't bother you. If fear of health makes you anxious, get a check up. My anxiety went up due to being locked up during Covid and losing my income. So, I try to get out and about more and improve my income. Meanwhile the only medication I found that helps is Propranolol beta blockers. These really help with the physical side of anxiety by blocking Cortisol. Only take them if it gets too much. Otherwise try and mentally resolve your anxiety yourself. When the anxiety slwly dissipates your digestive issues will ease.
@@debbiec6216 i been there and i got myself alone in emergency room. I thought ill stop breathing. Thank you so much I have been dealing with this for 6 years and have always wondered why when I'm going to and at work I feel at my worse and when I'm home I feel so relaxed.
@@berthaflored8948 Yes, a lot of people naturally find work and working environment (like offices) extremely stressful. I know I did. So, much so, I quickly realised it was not for me and knew I had to work for myself. Think of all the triggers for stress and try to slowly eliminate them from your life. Easier said than done, but can be done gradually, like working less hours, or doing a job you can do from home etc. Also, try to recognise the PEOPLE who trigger you and minimise them from your life.
*This is an Awesome Video* ! Specialists NEVER look for the ROOT CAUSES, why it's happening. So, if you don't have friendly micros, then that could be one of the reasons why you have Acid Reflux, indigestion, Ulcer. gastritis, IBS, SIBO and Autoimmune Disease. *This speaks Volume* *Supposedly Zinc L Carnosine for sure works, but you have to try it, to make sure it does* .
I suggest trying a quick & easy alternative approach that just might work for you. Just drink a couple glasses of water and jump up and down for a couple minutes to jiggle the stomach back down to its normal position. No harm or cost in giving this approach a try. You should know quickly, in same day or in a couple days, if this approach helps. Forty years ago, I did an activity which forced part of my stomach up through or past the diaphragm. It was a couple months later that I suddenly started having severe stomach pains. I was initially misdiagnosed by a doctor as having ulcers. It was a couple of years of misery before I realized that the doctor was wrong and I had gastric reflux disease, or GERD. GERD often happens naturally without a clear cause, especially with older people. Normally, the esophagus sphincter and the diaphragm sphincter muscles line up and reinforce each other. If part of the stomach is pushed or pulled up through the diaphragm, the two sphincter muscles don’t line up and stomach acid can more easily leak into the esophagus, causing GERD. Other people suggest drinking warm or hot water to relax the muscles, I would suggest cold water so that the heavy water will stay in the stomach longer. I would also suggest doing it first thing in the morning so the volume of water won’t dilute the digestion process of other food. It may take a repeat on a few successive days for the esophagus to adapt to the new longer length for the stomachs to stay in its new proper position. I would repeat the process anytime I got heartburn or acid taste in my mouth. I have been trouble free for over 35 years now, and can eat anything I want and take no meds for anything. I later learned of a gastroenterologist in Michigan who recommends this process also; maybe others now also. The body needs strong hydrochloric acid in the stomach to trigger the esophageal sphincter to close, to break down bulk foods generally, and to separate protein into the amino acid components to be effectively absorbed from the small intestines for use to make new proteins our body needs. Most or all GERD medicines block the production of or neutralize the hydrochloric acid which then interferes with protein digestion and interferes with esophageal sphincter closing. Both of those actions are counterproductive.

I get acid reflux. And they say you shouldn’t eat cheese when you have it. But cheese is what stops mine. Especially nice quality mature cheddar. I always have M&S Cornish cruncher on hand. Works a treat
I don't understand why three doctors didn't tell me anything like this was told they can give me laxatives and go home and stay off the internet thanks for the HELP! will be trying asap!!
Mine started back in 2010 and not until 2015 when I diet and include yogurt to my diet and heartburn stops for me, I can even eat spicy foods again without worrying waking up at night as the acid trying to elevate out of my throat and choke (very scary). It doesn't happen anymore it's about gut balance and stir away from too much salt which is really hard in todays times. Drink proper levels of water everyday too.
They tell us that dairy is out. Yet like you yoghurt eases mine. But not as much as good quality extra mature cheddar. My main go to is M&S Cornish Cruncher. An absolute game changer for me. So guess salt isn’t the issue for everyone
Thankful for info & comments - luckily I have kept mine under control by keeping my weight in check, limiting spicy food and not eating anything a few hours before I go to bed. Good luck.

I also want to try sleeping with a wedge beneath me, as some say being slightly elevated can prevent reflux.
I remember I was being attacked and was in quite worst condition almost a year and a half ago... I prayed to God and said "GOD i dont like this anymore Help me and heal me. But if youre not going to take this from me dont wake me up please"
Well on that same day I quickly got better after doing my best to eat something and drank Lipton Green Tea+ Honey+Milk(Birch tree)
I just wanna give God back the glory and praise up to this day for not having any more acid reflux that almost kill me everytime it attacks. Now i regularly drink Lipton Green tea in the morning and after meal at night.

Proton pump inhibitor anti reflux drugs should not be taken longterm. Yes, must be taken regularly for the 1st 3 weeks in order to work. They may cause oesophageal constriction if taken for many years.
Very good information. I had gastritis for over 20 years and doctors had prescribed antacids, milk of magnesium, licorice, tagamet, zentac and nexium. Nexium was worse. It made me depressed. Only Bragg's raw apple cider vinegar (with mother) cured my gastritis. 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup (250 ml) of water after meal or when I felt indigestion or discomfort. Works every time. Apple cider vinegar is acidic but when it enters the body, it becomes alkaline.

I have heard that it is due to NOT HAVING ENOUGH acid in your stomach and you should do the following: Betaine - HCL, fermented foods, L-glutamine, zinc carnosine and others are cayenne pepper (YES), DGL-deglycerrhizinated licorice, ginger, organic apple cider = 1 tsp in 8 oz of water, pure honey, bananas, cabbage, and chamomile tea.
@@hcure4003 In the past, I was eliminating dairy, gluten, Bio Engineered aka GMO, grains, Nightshade Red / Green preppers, cut back on Red Meats, Soda, Sugar, Sugar Addictive's, Sugar Alcohols, and some vegetables. I don't eat soy it's not good.

Thankyou so much for sharing this information! I have read or come across other videos, but your video is so much easier to to understand & follow! I was unconscious for 5 or 6 days … I’m blessed to be alive, thanks to my husband giving me CPR until the EMT’s got my heart started.

Reduced my pain medications for slipped disc (I can live with pain if it means my stomach is better).
Cut back on sugar (but not completely).
I’ve not had any reflux over the last 3 days. Stomach hasn’t hurt, I’m not as hungry so not over-eating. It’s great!

So sorry about your husband’s early passing. He was so young. I was diagnosed in 2015. I’m still on and off chemo and have lost a lot of my energy. My sincere condolences and all the best to you and your family. Nancy
sorry for your loss
I wish l did know about this too my husband passed away 6 month ago

So informative, sometimes I suffer with acid reflux, I am watching what I eat these day, very helpful video.
Your voice makes me feel calm and relaxed! Thank you 🙏
I can validate all the steps outlined here. I’ve been doing this for the last 8 months and I’m now off my PPI’s. I was on them for over 20 yrs. It’s a process that I have had to continue/maintain. If I stop using my HCL, etc…. the GERD returns.
What process you’re maintaining?
How did you wean yourself off PPI?
Apple sidereal vintage or lemon concentrated. Had so bad I have a ring in throat
Hello . Very excellent. My exprence about this illness is don't eat much food at the meals and should not hungry long time.
Agree
Doctors gave me an IV to slowdown my heartbeat and advised me to stop eating/drinking spicy, with caffiene etc. But ive observed myself that stress and anxiety triggers my gerd. Now, i still eat/drink what i want and try not overthinking. I play with my pet dog whenever my mind is full of stress . I dont take any medicine.
@@blackporscheroadster6415 Thank you for such great advice I knew that medicine was not the solution but the way you explained makes sense.
I found that drinking a small glass of Kefir on waking, has helped tremendously.

*This speaks Volume*
*Supposedly Zinc L Carnosine for sure works, but you have to try it, to make sure it does* .
Thank you so much for this great information. I am truly enlightened and informed.
Keep up the great work. God bless 🙏♥️
I was on proton pump inhibitor mess for many years. After starting the keto way of eating and no food after 6 or 7, I stopped the pantoprazol.
Keto stopped my acid reflux in the first week. Never going back to sugar and carbs
@@rudygrullon7915 long term keto can ruin your health. Good Carbs support healthy brain function.

Thank you so.much for this advice you see i used my last savings for GERD medicines which were worsenx my condition. I became stressed because these symptoms are really iritating.,Also i.noticed, after i gained like 20 pounds in three years m 160pounds now i started experiencx more of heartburn. I will start these exercises which i believe would help
I turned carnivore a few months ago. After the first week, I didn't have to take Protonix anymore. Was on it for at least seven years.
Extraordinarily HELPFUL THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR
Terrific…Terrific Report! My mom is very grateful!
Best remedy in my opinion is to completely give up processed and junk food and even in moderation! Eat only healthy food
After using these supplements I was doing way better after the first week. I decided to use apple cider vinger capsules if I had any other acid issues after eating.
This is my third week and I feel so much better. I realized the past few days I may have used one ACV capsule. Thanks!
Hi, Did you take all this supplements all at once or one at a time?
How Po?
Hi Dr i am 58 years old and a patient of achalasia cardia for the past 35 years. I have undergone balloon dilatation and then hellers myotomy in 2010. I still have the problem on and off i.e. the LES valve becomes tighter occassionally and i find it difficult to swallow during such times. Can u please suggest some medication or some natural remedies to improve the peristaltic movement of oesophagus and relaxation of muscles in oesophagus.
Boil 3 tsp of barley with water.then drink the water.once in the morning.
I always drink raw ginger tea as soon I feel acidic. and it treats mine immediately
Thankful for info & comments - luckily I have kept mine under control by keeping my weight in check, limiting spicy food and not eating anything a few hours before I go to bed.
Good luck.
Thanks for your informative video on acid reflux. I occasionally experience this issue when I usually take catnaps after meals. From now on, I will want to start taking probiotics & apple cider vinegar (either in capsules or liquid) or any of the 5 remedies. 👍✌🙏
I have been drinking Kimchi juice. It helps me whenever I have heartburn.
An excellent practical applied session for health care. 😊 a lot.
