Personally I wouldn't pay the £26 or so just to get better models. Fsltl models are great and they are free, and they update them regular. Nice of fsltl to give fstraffic users the option tho.

Yes, I am *far* more likely to consider buying FS Traffic because of this. Frame rate is a huge deal for VR users, and 4-5fps extra translates to a better feeling of reality whether by making things smoother or allowing the detail to be turned up a little somewhere else instead.
Great, we have the best of both worlds then. There's a good reason to have fstraffic appart from the models. I fly mostly at night in Europe and after 11 pm real traffic is scarce. Using both addons with addon linker is a breeze to change the one I need. Thanks for the vid

FSLTL & FS TRAFFIC both have good models, but the only that say the last word is the $. FS TRAFFIC is seems a good injector, but cost it. FSLTL have good models, but IT'S FREE!! One of the biggest drawbacks to FS Traffic is only spawning traffic for your predetermined origin or landing location. Meaning if my flying around NYC it will only spawn traffic at the airport I start at. That means if I start at the heliport it won’t spawn any traffic from the 3 international airports.

You can use AI Online traffic together with FS Traffic BUT unless you're willing to manually match up liveries, you will see a lot of white liveries at airports. Providing the option to use both is a great idea from the team at FSLTL and removes the blank white liveries.
It seems to be nice, but I'm still wondering if the effects that are included in FSTraffic would appear when using the models throught FSLTL. This is a very nice feature! It would be great if you could purchase a dumbed-down version of FS Traffic with just the models and no injector for like $20US. $40 is a little steep just for the models.
I think the models are the most work though, so if you're paying the percentage of development time that would probably be 85% or so, more like $35 then

I can't see the point of purchasing FS traffic if the only advantage is slightly improved models. I was under the impression that FS traffic had better control over departing and arriving traffic. If this is not the case then staying with FSLTL seems the more logical option. I might be tempted however if the price drops or FS traffic somehow can achieve live traffic.
Hey brother, can you help me? These 2 addon I have, but both generate a conflict, the main objective is to generate traffic and that the ATC communicates with them, but it turns out that having them active, the voice of the ATC is lost (it is like it was deactivated, but reviewing the options are always active, worse on the flight, I only get the text when they communicate between tower and plane, The same thing happens to me. N I have more addon.
So, having purchased FS Traffic and already been using FSTL, I went ahead and did this. Setup FSTL to use the FS Traffic models. As a test, loaded up the Fenix a320, at KLAX (Inibuilds), which is already pretty frame heavy...With using FSTL only, I was getting about 22-24fps...Once I enabled FSTL to use the FS Traffic models, I'm getting 29 to 31fps. So about a gain of 6-8fps. Doesn't sound like a lot but it makes heavy airports like KLAX more enjoyable, with a lot less stutters...Is it worth the $40 US investment? Not sure...Depends on how well your system is running MSFS now, and how much of a hit you are willing to take on FPS, by using any of these traffic add-ons...

@@enriqueosuna They both recommend in FS to disable aircraft traffic type to off, ground aircraft density to off. If you will use the FSTL injector to inject FS Traffic, then you want to open the FS Traffic and disable it's injector as shown by Easyjetsimpilot in the video above.
Seems pricey for a slight change in the sim. All I see in videos about this is jets at park. What about the rest of the flight? Is their and improvement?
I have a question. I deinstalled FSLTL when I bought FS Traffic. When I now reinstall it, do I also have to install the basemodels, or can I leave it and only install te traffic injector? Had numerous problems with FS Traffic ie very little or zero traffic ! Have tried changing settings and copying others online. Have gone back to installing FSTL and using the injector I can sometimes get it to work but not always. Very frustrating !! Reading a number of posts it seems Im not the only one having issues with FS Traffic but I also read there maybe an update in a week or so.
All this is very confusing. I have FSFTL but half of the planes are white. I have turned on and off Live traffic in Data and Traffic and still have flights that are white. How can I see VATSIM planes? How do I get get rid of the white planes? No one seems to be addressing VATSIM planes but I need to see them so if I’m instructed to taxi behind or follow traffic I need to see them.
The HUGE advantage of using FSLTL injector over the Just Flight injector is that you can only do ONE flight with Just Traffic. Once you get to your destination you cannot start a new flight because on reaching the arrival airport Just Flight's injector will cease working, so you have to quit the sim and start MSFS over again. With FSLTL you can arrive at any airport then start a new flight. Just Flight cannot do this. I think it might also be possible to use FSLTL's better sounds by copying/replacing the FS Traffic sound folders, but I have yet to confirm this.
Great vid really showing the subtle differences...personally I prefer FSLTL to utilize the FSTraffic aircraft...the added dirt and smoother lines win it for me. Just 1 infuriating issue/bug..no lights (actual lamps - not the illuminating effects) ...and what's even more annoying is every now and then, I see vids on youtube where the ops lights are working properly...would love to know how to get them working or what possible addon could be causing a conflict. Do your light emitters work on the ground or only once airborne?

Anyone having experience with model selection? Does fstraffic have more/other aircraft/livery combinations than fsltl? I'm a bit bummed out that I get the vatsim warning of being unable to load the right aircraft so often with fsltl, way more often than before with AIG. So it's probably not just the fictional airlines like Alpaka etc.
I always try to fly online on IVAO but as we know, skies are not always full of life so, this is great BUT, is it possible to have these planes interact with the default ATC, with Pilot2ATC or even use them along with IVAO?
@@JCLG I never tried FSHUD, there's also no trial. Is it any good? When not online, I would love to have a decent ATC and with the injector it would be great.
@@zephirusvideos Hello Friend, yes FSHUD make the job but if you are using IVAO or other ATC online, i think it's not the same immersion. For me, like i don't use ATC online FSUD is pretty good and more accurate than the default MSFS2020's ATC.
So I think that when you do it this way by mixing the two mods it messed up the sound, because it sounded pretty bad as you say - but when I used FS traffic by itself, it sounded pretty damn good So I wonder if you need to uninstall the fsltl models and not have them sharing in the community folder
With the current cloud and low bandwidth issues going on i can't afford any traffic addon. So for me a comparison has to wait until this server-issue is solved.
Hey all. I'm new to MSFS and a little confused by all this. One of the biggest 'disappointments' for me while at an an airport is the bland generic aircraft skins - it kills immersion stone dead. I don't care for injecting live traffic (and I have a 7 year old system) but what I DO want is for the skins to be more real-world whether 'injected' or simply generated by MSFS itself. What's the best way to do this (which program, paid or free) without compromising my frame rates?

It is indeed a bit better if you use FS Traffic models with FSLTL but only a few FPS. FS Traffic alone has still way more(!) FPS and much more aircrafts. Another hint: after I disabled FS Traffic injector, I wasnt able to activate it again (the switch in the traffic center didnt work) so I had to reinstall FS Traffic. 😒
This is kinda off the subject, but how are you able to get the different views in MSFS, like the far away views, I can get the different default views but not like what you were showing?

This is making me more tempted to purchase FS Traffic so I have the choice of live traffic with FSLTL or being able to offset the sim time and still have traffic in my sim (I often only have time to fly in the evening IRL). If I have FSLTL, FS Traffic, and AIG (yes, I know, a lot of disk space for models), will AIG fill in the gaps for models that neither FSLTL or FS Traffic have?
The big gripe of Fsltl is the constant swapping in and swapping out aircraft models and liveries on the fly and parked at a gate. It's really jarring and totally destroys immersion when the aircraft parked next to you has swapped in and out about 5 times by the time you've pushed back. You don't get this with the fstraffic injector.
I bought FS Traffic but will continue using FSTL for the time being due to FS Traffic missing details such as 737's with different winglets + different liveries such as the old United, etc. I have hopes that FS Traffic will become less Vanilla, therefore I'm not asking for a refund yet.

No, they are both restricted to listening and following default ATC.

Cargo models will Come from FSLTL.

FSLTL injected traffic communications with FSHud or default ATC.

No as I don't usually use live traffic as I'm on VATSIM.

You need a mod like fsltl to add real world liveries.

You do have to wait 10 mins or so for the skies to populate, and ensure you have the correct setting set in the injector.

yes, you can set it to add VFR traffic
Sometimes those few FPS can matter a lot but don’t think it’s worth £26.

AIG models cannot as far as I'm aware, be used to FSLTL Traffic injector. But can be used for VATSIM.
