It really is but you put the GLH on any color! Our 2020 Jeep Compass has so many swirls after a few months. Black is so nice but man 🤣🤣

@@hisherhemi Yes been waiting for one in my area since December,it was not even at two local auto shows..-Palm bch county..I know Dodge has it's detractors like all makes do that's ok there's lemons in all makes & models..
I implore you to spend your money elsewhere.
The Hornet uses the same powertrain as the Jeep Renegade and owners of the Renegade have had a lot of problems with the powertrain.
I used to buy Chrysler products when it was an American owned company using American powertrains, no more.
@@desiderious1 I did check out thee Hornet in person was not impressed at all,ended up buying a 23" Buick Envision ST preferred trim model very pleased with it !

The Hornet uses the same unreliable and expensive to repair powertrain already used on the Jeep Renegade.
I urge you to look up online how many customer complaints there are for the Jeep Renegade and realize this is what you will be spending your hard-earned money on.

Back in the day when Chrysler was an American owned company, I was a fan of their products, no more.
When European car makers took over the Chrysler, they know nothing about the American car market and are destroying the brand.
Already there are reports of quality problems with the Hornet which is built in Italy and uses a Fiat engine which has proven to be unreliable already in Jeep products.
I predict, like the Fiat 500 which is no longer sold here, the Hornet like the Dart and 200 will be a total failure and removed from the U.S. market within 5 years.
I mean even the American automakers have terrible issues. Like new trucks with rusted frames, steering wheel air bags going off, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if this new vehicle isn't PERFECT. Nothing is and I can't comment until I get mine!

Ordered a 2024 Dodge Hornet GT Gold with the Track Package , Cold weather group package & Blackout package .. Dealer gave it to me at invoice price for 35K
I’m putting 5K down so I’m only financing 30,000$ or so ..
The GT plus does add nice features , Buy unfortunately with all the packages I want I’d be spending to much ..
The track package with the 20” rims and brembro breaks with the added suspension upgrades with dampers is really what I’m looking forward to
Sitting on 18’s looks weird and I’d rather not spend 5K on rims and tires when I can get a factory deal ..
That Gold is gonna hit different! That's seems like your getting a pretty good deal as well. Yea I think the biggest thing is the sunroof and we've never had one before lol. Also the wheels and tires will be our first mod as well because you're right about the 18"
@@hisherhemi The GT plus does add nice features as mentioned , But I’m also having my 1st child in December so a lot of money will be going towards a new Born baby .. On top of my mortgage, But if I had no kids incoming I’d get the GT plus ! Did they give you guys a ETA ?
@litty1493 oh wow congratulations! That's the exact reason we're getting one as well 🤣🙏🏽 no time yet, but in Dallas my dealer said the GTs will arrive later this month and the Plus in a few coming months. Kinda frustrating they said it would be out by now..

@litty1493 my paperwork says it's a 2023 but I would t be surprised if it ends up being a 24 with how long it's taking.
R/T has a top speed of 128 and a 0-60 of over 6 seconds? Hornet is made for boring grocery getter people who want to tell you how they’re car is practical but “has some sport to it”.
or its for people with a baby who already have a rt charger and 1320 challenger🤔 and its surprisingly quick too but lmk when you actually drive one🤣
@@hisherhemi already test drove one to see for myself. Total dog. Anyone who has a charger already has a capable vehicle to haul around a baby. This would be a dumbass purchase.

Its a rebadged alfa romeo Tonale. Its going to drive great, but being an italian car, it will be very unreliable, especially the electronics.
Yea we're well aware of how the vehicle was designed, but shame on you for thinking it's the 80s and ALL Italian cars have issues. Every car has issues
@@hisherhemi I'm saying that based on the horrible reliability of the Giulia and Stelvio. I have a soft spot for Alfas but it is what it is. They're notoriously unreliable. That being said. I still want a Giulia Quadrifoglio. One of the most beautiful sedans ever in my opinion. Likewise I love the Maserati quattroporte GTS with that ferarri V8. That thing has one of the most beautiful v8 exhaust notes ever!

Having sat in one...the quality of the interior...crappy...think 1990's Hyundai quality.
Further....really? A muscle c-suv with no 300+ HP motor option (at the moment the GLH looks mostly like suspension and flashing.... performance that does not scream).
Further...that center console is cramped, and the AC Control just FEEL like they're made to break. The controls on the steering wheel are meh.
Summing up....someone should've realized using the JEEP Compass as a platform was ...in the words of the 00's...#Fail.
You should try driving it! We thought it was nice! It's super smooth🔥 Great family car and that's why we need it, can't drive the baby around in the challenger😅 no backseats🤣 It's an upgrades Compass in every way. We had 2020 brand new but this is WAY better
@@hisherhemi I did get to take a GT out and about, it really didn't impress me that much. If they had a model that had 300 or more horsepower is a base I probably would have been all over it!
This is where a lot of these brands fail. If they want to bring their a-game they really got to go up against as a performance alternative they really have to enter into the 300-plus horsepower as a base. Ideally somewhere between 340 and 350 being the sweet spots.
@@hisherhemi did they let you gunned it around a corner? Or did you have to mostly do straight line. It wouldn't let me take it around a few corners at speed. That's a sure way to measure the stability.
