But the "Porsche" on the back of the rear wing should be in silver if it's the only sticker you keep on the car. When Mat had the incorrect silver sticker installed initially, it looked really sharp paired with the GT silver paint of the car's body. That said, I do think the new OEM gold stickers are a massive improvement over the temporary stickers.

Not when you get service like this. Detailing the underside of the car isn’t going to happen at an oil change shop lol. Plus that’s cheap to a Porsche owner.
It's not that bad considering the price of the car. I've had similar quotes on an S5. You just have to be able to argue, negotiate etc. - these are numbers they aren't happy about either.
You have to factor in the labor involved in just getting to the engine drain plugs. No part of the engine is visible without disassembling the undertray. Opening the bonnet on these cars only reveals two fill caps for water and oil. Plus they are taking care to get the oil level just right for thermal expansion under race conditions. The local lube shop or average dealership is not doing that. And this work is being done in a shop that's probably nicer/cleaner than many people's homes and then you add in the Porsche tax for any parts/fluids and there you are.
THEY HAVE PUT THE WRONG OIL IN MAT - had mine done and the new upgraded oil is c40-GT spec with in an orange/red label and top. The green is the regular stuff used for non GT cars which was recalled. Hope Reading will sort this out asap for you, as that’s a very public own-goal on TH-cam - hope you’re enjoying yours, they’re amazing cars!
Silver on the wing is great but side stickers have always looked a bit wank. New colour is better though. Let the car design speak for itself, it doesn't need the side stickers at all; it's a busy enough design already.
They asked 250€ for an oil change in my 1.5 Vw Troc (around 4 litres of oil) so 450£ for 7 litres and a metal filter on a gt3rs is actually a good price..
You forget all the cleaning, disassembly and re-assembly that was done: it is a rip-off but it is a special one: a Porsche Rip Off properly designed and engineered...and I am keeping my mouth quite...
If I ever won the lottery and had the sort of money to splash on a sportscar like that, I'd definitely do the rear wing sticker but on my own imaginary car, I'd probably go stickerless. Either way, that rig is outrageously cool. Use it in good health Matt!
Hey Mat, about your stickers. I don't care for the stickers, but you know what? I LOVE your car, and I am still smiling just looking at a GT3 RS being driven on the road. So, stickers or no stickers, super happy for you to drive the car and enjoy it.
The thing about luxury cars is that they add a lot of stress you don't need. This video is a perfect encapsulation of that. I had a pretty expensive merce for a while, but got rid of it for a simple car again that cost a pittence. I'm so much more happy with it, because I don't care about it.
Sadly for you, Mat, the ESP X3 oil you put in the engine doesn't have the Porsche C40 GT specification. There's another Mobil 1 oil with a red sticker with C40 GT written on it.

It looks SO much better with the stock black decals. I'm kind of a purist, so if the car came with glossy paint, I would've gotten glossy PPF. I just picked up a 23 M4 CSL with 385 miles on it in Frozen Brooklyn Grey Metallic which is like a matte grey/silver. I had matte PPF put on the entire car EXCEPT for the exposed carbon fiber on parts of the hood, the carbon roof, rear carbon splitter, front carbon splitter, carbon air intakes, carbon mirror scalps and gloss black side skirts. All those pieces received gloss PPF (all covered in ceramic on the PPF as well) Alot of owners don't seem to like the red vinyl "CSL" badge on the side of the front carbon splitter and remove it. I could or would never do that! On limited and special edition cars, I am a believer in presenting the car and preserving EXACTLY as the manufacturer intended. This almost ALWAYS keeps the resale value as high as possible. I have HIGHLY modified many cars over the years and when it comes time to sell them, I've almost always taken big hits. Yes, you want the car to fit your taste but you also don't want to take a bath when it comes time to sell. I hope to get a 992 GT3 RS in the next year or two and will be leaving it 100% stock. If I wanted something to modify, I'd probably get a base Carrera 2 with the 3.0 liter electric assisted turbo that runs stoich at full power. RS car I am leaving it as Porsche intended. In America we don't require gasoline particulate filters like in Europe and they really seem to affect the exhaust note. Stock exhaust on American 3 RS sounds alot more violent.
I would like to see a video how Mat explains how he managed to secure a build slot for a GT3RS without ordering numerous other regular Porsche's through the dealer 1st.

If it was a standard Porche with no vents, no spoiler- no stickers. Your GT3 with the correct gold decals look awesome. Defenitely keep them on but with the correct gold.
I know it can seem annoying when you have to bring in the car for warranty issues, but you have to admit Porsche doesn’t mess around and gets on top of things. Porsche is great this way, it doesn’t happen often but when it does they are top notch in wanting the car just right and the customer happy.
All stickers looked great, but recommended to swap all the stickers to Neon Red with the addition your favourite 2 numbers to have a unique car(place on the bonnet and side of the doors). Amazing car!
For me the gold side stickers don't work with the light colour of the car (unlike the wheels which do), if the car was a darker colour then it would work much better. Having said all that the car looks so much better with no stickers on it at all.
You know what the problem is? The colour on those wheels... just not on....unless you have started wearing lipstick as well... stick everything to silver / darksilver / black and you are sorted... so what you really need is... a set of new wheels! Free of charge advice from my end for yet another interesting video about your extremely challenging and very difficult life choices...as they say: life is a struggle!

Great video. I diagnosed a problem with the particulate filter on my Porsche Cayman and tried to book it in to my local Porsche dealer. Despite knowing what the issue was Porsche wanted to charge me £99 + vat just to tell me what I already knew. Needless to say I cancelled the booking.

I think the silver Porsche logo on the wing looks good to match closer to the car’s colour, but all other GT3 RS decals should be the updated goldy bronze new stickers. I think it is subtle detail and the matte PPF was the right decision. Porsche stickers are classy with or without them on, but think stickers on is the way I would order it for a bit of race car feel.
I like the wing stickers,that silver looks real good,the contrast with the black is great. Now for the side i'd go with a dark silver. It would be a low key look, very cool. Witch I feel would make the wheels really stand out . One of a kind yea baby
The blend actually looks really fucking good. The rear wing end plate one looks odd because it's painted now but the body paint matching rear wing sticker against the carbon looks fire along with the wheel matching side decals.

It's not a recall. The recall is for the sticker. But yes. They've changed the sticker to state it needs C40 GT but then added old spec ESP oil.

I like the wing stickers,that silver looks real good,the contrast with the black is great. Now for the side i'd go with a dark silver. It would be a low key look, very cool. Witch I feel would make the wheels really stand out . One of a kind yea baby
The blend actually looks really fucking good. The rear wing end plate one looks odd because it's painted now but the body paint matching rear wing sticker against the carbon looks fire along with the wheel matching side decals.
