To me, no stickers around the car looks the best. However, I would totally leave the silver "porsche" lettering on the wing. I think it looks classy

I don't think Porsche owners are concerned about price of labour. That's actually not bad for RS model. My only concern would be to see an apprentice doing this :P

Not when you get service like this. Detailing the underside of the car isn’t going to happen at an oil change shop lol. Plus that’s cheap to a Porsche owner.
It's not that bad considering the price of the car. I've had similar quotes on an S5. You just have to be able to argue, negotiate etc. - these are numbers they aren't happy about either.

My 2 cents: keep the "Porsche" in the back of the wing, take everything else off, car is flashy enough with out it.

But the "Porsche" on the back of the rear wing should be in silver if it's the only sticker you keep on the car. When Mat had the incorrect silver sticker installed initially, it looked really sharp paired with the GT silver paint of the car's body.
That said, I do think the new OEM gold stickers are a massive improvement over the temporary stickers.

Hey, in my opinion, the new golden stickers look gorgeous now that they perfectly match the wheels. Plus, this color on the stickers is pretty original, making the car stand out more
No stickers on the body + golden Porsche sticker on the wing looks hella clean ngl
The gold sticker on the wing was the single best sticker in the whole car regardless of color IMO
New gold stickers are so much better then old ones. Looks sick and clean.

Silver on the wing is great but side stickers have always looked a bit wank. New colour is better though. Let the car design speak for itself, it doesn't need the side stickers at all; it's a busy enough design already.

If I ever won the lottery and had the sort of money to splash on a sportscar like that, I'd definitely do the rear wing sticker but on my own imaginary car, I'd probably go stickerless. Either way, that rig is outrageously cool. Use it in good health Matt!

No 'stickers' the car is in a class of its own. It's beautiful, mean, stylish and arguably the ultimate 911. It doesn't need them. My humble opinion it makes it look 'try hard, boy racer esq..... '
THEY HAVE PUT THE WRONG OIL IN MAT - had mine done and the new upgraded oil is c40-GT spec with in an orange/red label and top. The green is the regular stuff used for non GT cars which was recalled. Hope Reading will sort this out asap for you, as that’s a very public own-goal on TH-cam - hope you’re enjoying yours, they’re amazing cars!

It's not a recall. The recall is for the sticker. But yes. They've changed the sticker to state it needs C40 GT but then added old spec ESP oil.
Was thinking that too, working at Porsche and they should have put the red bottle GT oil in 🤔

£455 just to change oil - yet another example of main dealer rip off pricing
£200 odd pounds to carry out the oil change service and £90 for oil on top, it's a joke haha
They asked 250€ for an oil change in my 1.5 Vw Troc (around 4 litres of oil) so 450£ for 7 litres and a metal filter on a gt3rs is actually a good price..
When you make 100k buying it I guess £450 is a tiny inconvenience
You forget all the cleaning, disassembly and re-assembly that was done: it is a rip-off but it is a special one: a Porsche Rip Off properly designed and engineered...and I am keeping my mouth quite...
They are called Porsche Stealerships for a reason.
I know it can seem annoying when you have to bring in the car for warranty issues, but you have to admit Porsche doesn’t mess around and gets on top of things. Porsche is great this way, it doesn’t happen often but when it does they are top notch in wanting the car just right and the customer happy.

Sadly for you, Mat, the ESP X3 oil you put in the engine doesn't have the Porsche C40 GT specification. There's another Mobil 1 oil with a red sticker with C40 GT written on it.
That's what I was thinking, the porsche c30 GT oil is a specific oil for the porsche GT cars and had a red label on the can

I had the same safety recall about the passenger side airbag going off but mine was with audi but the car is 20 years old now !!!

The silver "PORSCHE" sticker on the back of that wing looked way better than the gold. It stood out more with the dark background colour.

Lary stickers are a throwback to when cars were proudly showcased as special models... something Porsche and BMW did a lot in the 70s and 80s.
No contest, the new gold stickers are right for the car - the silver stickers are better suited for a Ford Capri ... because they look chavvy!
so to be honest, i like the car either without any stickers, or just all silver. Cause than the wheels will come out more instead of having gold stickers with it. Thats my opinion. Whatever you're going to do, this car is absolutely amazing!

Personally, I’d go stickerless (possibly keep the big wing one). But the proper gold looks so much better than the previous.
With two tone vinyl also can be a good choice.

It was a “bit” of a fuzz but the end result is magnificent. In the end the choices you made really came together. It looks absolutely ace.

I will tell you what my Dad told me when I said I liked a particular colored vehicle he said, “it’s just a color.” This is a person that worked for Lockheed and he was the inspector that inspected all the inspector’s work for every satellite that went into space.How important is a color? Unless it is a warning color.
The wheel matching cold stickers look absolutely fantastic in my opinion! I'd keep absolutely them.

Hmmm tough one. The new gold to match the wheels makes sense, but I also like the silvery gold that was put on the rear spoiler. It's similar to the Cerium grey wheels and body parts on my M135i. I think overall go for the full sticker set in the wheel colour. Got to 21mins and can see the full set, very nice.
I know stickers are part of the heritage but to be honest I prefer the clean look

@@bassitos Hmm. Everyone has different taste of course. BUT this doesn't contrast at all m8. Silver is a bright color. Gold is a bright color.
If you put one on top of the other, you cant even see it properly. If the car is moving all you see is some gold-ish blur on the side of the car.
And because the car has so many black (carbon) pieces. Black stickers matches the car way better.

He needs it to keep his GT3RS with him which he got without any buying history with his Porsche dealer.
