One of the most bizarre matches ever in tennis. Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios definitely share one of the most controversial matchups in tennis history.
Despite the score, this match has some insane tennis featuring the most badass umpire in tennis history, Muhamed Lahyani.

Kyrgios was his own worst enemy. He self-destructed 3 points into the first game of the final, and the one bad call just allowed himself to lose the plot. He was pretty much shaking his head in disgust constantly from that point onwards in every game. The one bad call didn't change the direction of the match... he changed it himself by playing stupidly out of resenting his own lack of self-belief. Nadal sensed his mental fragility in that moment and had all the confidence in the world to sniff it out and exploit it for the rest of the match. One of the biggest mistakes ever by Nick by letting himself down and letting Nadal free himself up.

He's been on tour for so long now that its actually become embarrassing to see all the new gen come from no where and already winning slams, while he has none. Forget the hype and the flashy shots every now and then, at the end of the day, he's never been a champion. Just a good player who on a good day can hit some amazing shots.
