How to Remove MyKey Settings on Ford Fusion (without going to the dealership)

Is there anything else to do? I have only one key and don’t want to buy a new one can a car shop remove it somehow or do you have to go to a dealership?

Idk if this will work on newer Fords or not. I couldn’t find a place that could do the programming because of the Mykey and I tried a few. Many had the generic keys but the actual programming was an issue. On a side note my local Ford place advised a new 3 button flip key with programming was $436. I was very fortunate that the dealership I bought my used F150 from (w/only one key) got hold of the previous owner who actually had it and the dealership sent it out to me once they got it.

Everyone who has the ability to program a key for our 2017 escape charges at least $180 to program.
It should be illegal for ford to sell a vehicle with one key without first disabling mykey.

the key may not have programmed 100% correctly, have a locksmith check it out and reprogram it if necessary
