How to disable the MyKey feature in a 2013 Ford C-Max w/out Administrator key.

- This is a 2013 Ford C-Max SEL hybrid. I am disabling the "MyKey" feature. My car has a three button key fobic. First thing to do is turn your C-Max to the "ready to drive" position. Next while the vehicle is on, conceal your key fobic/transponder in aluminum foil or have somebody walk away far enough from the vehicle that it does not detect the key any longer. Then open and close your driver door, it should pop up a warning in red "key not inside vehicle". Next Get the fobic back in your possession. With the vehicle still on place the fobic in the vehicle fobic emergency transponder location. This is located to the right of the steering column diagonally across-ish from the engine start-stop button. it will have a pinky size Groove with an embossed emblem of frequency sign. While the key is in the transponder location turn the vehicle off and then back on again at which point a red warning will pop up stating"key not inside vehicle". Now you can forget about the key. at this point you now have access the "My keys" settings. You can go into your settings and clear your "My keys" from the system. I hope this helps. Worked just like you said, right up to the point of going to MyKey in the settings. There is no MyKey option in the setting menu.
“My Key” option is not available in my C-Max ….. any idea why?
Wish this worked for my 2011 Lincoln Mks. I accidentally activated Mykey feature to my only single key i have.
Hello. I followed all the steps but once I get into settings there is no option for MyKey. Under information, there’s an option for MyKey. It says 0 MyKeys and 2 admin keys programmed.

@@ca0290 this makes no sense. The purpose of my video is to get rid of My keys and just have Administration keys. Administration Keys set up your my keys. Without an Administration key you are unable to set up your Mykey. If you only have the my key and not an Administration key then you cannot adjust anything and you're stuck with the settings that you have. Like if your vehicle is set to not go over 65 mph it'll just beep at you and let you know you're traveling too fast. Well if you want to change that setting you can't without an Administration key.

@@raytech1479 wrong. I shot the video After figuring out the workaround, duh. It would have cost hundreds of dollars for Ford dealership to program a master key. This is the workaround.
What is the key slot you mentioned?
🤔The slot is where the Key Fobic direct signal reciever is located. Do you mean what does it do? It recieves a signal from the key letting you use it. When the battery in the key fobic is dead and you're in your car holding this up to this slot and pressing the start/stop should power on the vehicle given no other issues with the vehicle.
Are there instructions somewhere on how to program a fob you bought on Amazon?
I'm not finding any and my 1 and only key only works by putting in the side if the steering wheel. We bought two keys to program..
