Hey Scotty can you make a video on squatted trucks
Turbo cylinder!
Double double :frog:
That lane departure and all of those monitoring gadgets are more annoying than useful. I do not want that in any of my cars. It raising the cost, complexity and annoying as well as being a pain in the butt when something with it goes wrong and starts making noises and interfering with other electrical systems.
i' Remove Those $ 5-k. 😮 Repair Rear Lights@ *f'd150, CompLete Vehicles Of my List From Above 2014. MOST New CArs/Trucks Shams. & GREAT RUNDOWNS@ 3---GOOD Cars/Suv, THANKS SCOTTY 😊 4 The Arms/Actives😅 Videos Lol.
i work at a mazda Dealer and i can tell you NEVER buy a cx60 especialy the phev version, about half of the ones we sold came back with problems within the next weeks, if you want a good mazda that goes in the direction of the cx60 buy a cx5 not the diesel version but the gas one (and even some of them crack their head) the diesel engines from mazda have problems with the exhaust gas recirculation.
sry if its hard to read, english is not my first language :)
edit: yes its great to drive and yes most off the repairs are covert my mazda and a lot is done at the first inspection but you will find yourself with electrical problems at a repair shop to get it fixt (mainly the phev- 4 cylinder gas hybrid) the inline 6 o have no idear becaus we didnt sell a lot of them
As a disabled adult I currently can’t drive due to cost and health issues but I still love to watch Scotty
ok
At least with watching Scotty, you're driving your emotions in the right direction.
Stay blessed
Wishing you full recovery in your health
What about the Volvo SUV?
Scotty is 100% correct with his assessment of the Camry. I bought a new 2020 Camry (LE base model) because of his videos and it’s the best car I’ve ever owned. Driving conservatively on rural roads, I’ve actually gotten as high as 50.5 miles per gallon a couple of times. 45,000 miles of absolutely trouble free driving so far. I plan to keep it for many years.
I read a Car and Driver review, it was maybe from 20-21, can't remember. But they tested the regular Camry 4 cyl. versus the Camry Hybrid and in their mpg tests, the regular Camry got better mpg than the Hybrid. I think when they tested it they got 47 mpg and the advertised sticker was 40. Just phenomenal. They said it was the most fuel efficient of any non hybrid motor in a car. I purchased a '21 Camry and have been very happy with it.
I totally agree with you! The TGNA chassis has a superlative balance between ride and handling. I don’t know what I’d replace it with. I have the LE with push button start, rear cross traffic alert and blind spot monitoring.
Bought a 2020 six months ago. Love it! I am amazed by the gas mileage, too, and I was driving a 2014 Accord, so that's saying something. Love the fact that Toyota did not turbo their engines like everyone else seems to be doing. Great company!
@@phillipneuharth l
I have an LE and I easily get 47mpg on highway doing 70-75
I work at Mazda Toyota Manufacturing on the Mazda side. I take pride in seeing that Mazda Kodo design. For cars at that price range the body lines and paint seem superior, almost at like Luxury level. My department does Paintless Dent Removal, we fit the hood and door panels, and ensure there are no body defects. Hard job but its rewarding to see those cars on the road.
I love my mazda cx5!
They look blimin awesome mate!
@@spadgm They do! The can look good at all times! Day, night, cloudy, uv light. Just punches above its weight. The buttons on the interior are tactile too.
I have owned 3 Mazda’s currently in a 9 year old Mazda 3. It’s an outstanding vehicle
Old Mazda is crap!!
I bought a 2008 Toyota Camry in 2008. It is 2023 and it has never even sneezed wrong and is still going strong . Regular oil changes and good tires keep it strong. A comfortable and easy driving car.
10:32 Honda CRV
19:35 Mazda CX-90
ty !
U forgot Camry
I’m normally not a fan of this guy but I agree with him here. I bought a 2023 Camry 10 months ago and love it. I bought it for 3 reasons.. 1) NO TURBO 2) NO AUTO START STOP 3) NO CVT…. and he’s right about the sunroof. 98% of the time it’s either too cold, too hot, raining or you’re going too fast to leave it open. A useless option.
Yyyyyeahhhhh... no. Depends on where you live. Use my sunroof 3/4 of the year.
What I like about the Camry is they raised the front body just enough to clear parking lot curbs
So your not tearing up
The lower spoiler any longer
Nice videos Scotty keep up the fight
Bought my first Mazda CX 5 in 2021. For the price point I have been more than ecstatic with the vehicle. Mazda has a very underrated product . I will purchase another one when my other vehicle needs replaced.
I’ve been looking for a new vehicle and a majority of the videos I’ve seen and articles I’ve read, they push vehicles more for looks and fuel efficiency versus reliability. Glad I found your video on this!
Got my 2020 Camry SE a while back and it's perfect. My highest record MPG was around 54 mpg driving very conservatively on an empty freeway, I am incredibly shocked at how good of a car it actually is
I am very happy with my CRV I purchased in 2021. Hasn’t given me a problem until now. Going strong after 2 years. I do regular oil changes and follow their maintenance schedule. Hope it lasts long! Only thing I wish Honda had a loose steering wheel. It feels tight compared to Toyota.
I love ❤️ Scotty’s videos. He gets excited like when he was 20 😊. Very informative indeed.
I got 2011 Insight with 195k miles and zero issues so far. Can't complain with the cost under $19k out the door.
I bought a 2021 Mazda CX-30. I did that based on some of your videos. I did not buy the turbo, but I will tell you this is one of my best experiences of owning a new car. I have had zero issues, I mean none. I change the oil every 3000 miles, rotate the tires every 5000. I do that myself. i don't trust those oil change places nor the dealership to do it like I do. I clean up after I am done. It has been a fabulous car and extremely comfortable. I have the preferred model. The insurance is like nothing because of all the saftey features. Yes, I know this is not a high-performance vehicle. I have other toys for that.
3000 is overkill for your 2021 Mazda and can actually do more harm than good, shortchanging with recommended synthetic 0w-20. Read your owners manual
Synthetic can go to 8k miles but 5k is recommended. 3k mile oil changes aren't needed and a waste of money.
@@HH-le1vivi Thank you, but what you obviously have failed to do is to ask where I live, what are the conditions I drive in, etc. You go ahead and do your thing. I will do my thing. I think I have been doing this for a few years.
@@MickeyKamer unless you're going up and down mountains at high speeds constantly it's not necessary. You want to waste your money be my guest but oil chemistry has changed in the last 25 years. 3k mile oil changes on full synthetic are a waste of time and money.
@@HH-le1vi Again. I will do what I do. You have a great day!
Thanks, Scotty. I am very impressed with your knowledge and genuine intentions!!!
I love your reviews and thoroughly enjoy watching them. Keep them coming, Scotty!
My first car ever was a 70's Corolla. I swear that car had a beating heart for an engine, I loved it. Fast forward a few decades and a few non-Toyotas later, I'm ready to go back. Have my sights set on a Camry in the next year or so. Thanks to Scotty I know what I'm looking for!
wow you didnt do well in life still driving one
You kidding Right???? You Need Scotty Kilmer to tell you Toyota is A Good Buy??? He don’t believe you either.😆😆😆
You will be disappointed….
Toyota and Hondas of the 1970’s and 1980’s were light years ahead of the ‘Big 3’ American automakers.
The two biggest issues with todays cars: they cost too much compared to yesteryears and they actually get worse gas Mileage.
No, but I find it helpful that he sheds light on things like regular vs. CVT transmission, turbo or not, etc., as I haven't kept up with the specifics of Toyotas . @@bernandoturner4840
I drive a 2002 Toyota Solara with 137,000 miles on it. It's the best car I have owned! My late husband would not own any other car but a Ford! I will be updating to an SUV soon as I'm 74 and finding it difficult to get in and out of the Solara because it sits lower to the ground. I would love a Highlander! Love the Toyota!!!
I rented a camry in Phoenix a few weeks ago. Took it on Route 66 and other back roads no problem. Excellent on gas considering gas was so expensive in Phoenix. That car is a straight beast. Definately on my list of cars I'm looking to buy.
I bought a Camry last year. Very happy with it.
I test drove the CX-90 2 weeks ago, they had an entire lot of them. Best new car I’ve ever driven
That Mazda is beautiful.. 😍
I just bought a CX90 Turbo, not the Turbo S, but I consistently average 27+MPG with a mix of highway and city driving. I am incredibly happy with how solidly built the car is. It is also a dream to drive. The one issue I have is with the mandatory start/stop system which they call I-Drive. It will shut the engine off while you're coasting at high speed. This can be fixed simply by hitting the button, but it is annoying that you have to do it every time.
If you keep it long enough and you have to get the timeing Chain replaced they have to remove the motor and the front end
That's actually illegal, it distracts the driver. Also for second comment is mazda scamming ppl with timing belt...
@@COLDSIDE34 was just gonna say.. The engine design and layout is less than favorable for maintenance. Rear timing chain, and everything is absolutely stuffed in there
@@bchowmein1711 thats why i got the acura mdx and not the cx90
I so show The Scotty Kilmer Show every evening. Never miss an episode. Thanks Scotty!!!!
Thank you for the video. Blessings to you.
Toyota actually has developed a concept called "Kaizen" (improvement or getting better from lesson's learned) long time ago. This concept is even used in project management and high tech industries. So Scotty is right about Toyota.
💯
They should apply that concept to their design studio as well. Even tiny mazda has a better styled lineup.
Except lately Toyotas have had a bunch of issues according to our local dealerships head technician. Mazda is probably more reliable for now.
Well then why are they so boring and ugly, while Mazdas and hyundais look better, and they aren't making good EVs
Toyota still got old mans car image
The Mazda shown here is in another league compared to the other two dreary, insipid vehicles. Simply beautiful and enticing. A car that appeals to both your head and heart. This is true of the cheapest mazda 3 to their top of the line models.
I was going to buy the VW Tiguan. Found Scotty and just bought a Toyota rav 4 hybrid instead. My first car was a 96 Corolla that had over 250k miles on it. I only sold it because I moved and couldn’t take it. Can’t wait to be back in a Toyota again.
Great review, great work. Thank you!!!!
Love that white wood interior trim on the Mazda. So elegant; so completely tired of black interiors.
I scream this all the time!! Black interior is hard to keep clean and makes a car feel much smaller than a tan or light gray interior.
I hate black seats. I hate a black dash. I hate black doors. Black floor mats are fine.
I know esp if exterior is black. It’s too much.
That white wood interior design looks so elegant
That Mazda is really beautiful.
I've learned so much so far from your newer videos, so I thought I'd start from the beginning 😅
The panoramic sunroof in the XSE & XLE trims looks great
I've found that when Scotty recommends something, you can't go wrong with it. But I'd never buy a new car.
29y/o new family man here. Bought our family an 02 lexus es300 just like old scotty. My dad thought I was nuts to buy and rely on a 22yr old car to tote my kid around in but hey thanks to scotty I feel on top of the world
@@YatesGatesSensible guy 👍
Why not? Used you are buying someone else’s headache. Plus Toyotas have very low depreciation. I’d go new without hesitation.
Smart idea Thomas you save so much money buying used rather than new😉
@@andyblank4157Yep😊
Always the best of youtube... thanks Scotty!
Scott, your videos are amazing. Only thing about the Toyota Camry is that they are no longer as cheap as they used to be. Been quoted on the lowest end of the Camry for 37k. They are starting to be way less affordable because dealers no they are pretty popular and better looking with such a good engine. :(
Love my sunroof. Not the panoramic one but the older style. Can vent it or on a day like today let it open. Great natural light in the car. 2020 Camry SE AWD.
Mazda's are beautiful inside and out, they aren't considered luxury cars but they should be.
They’re moving into that market model by model, year by year. The 2016 CX-9 was its first step into the near luxury level. The CX-90 is definitely a luxury SUV at the top trim levels. They just don’t charge an extra $30k for the badge like the Germans do.
Hi Scotty.. I purchased my son. 2018 Camry last November. The car had 80k (mostly highway)miles on it but being a Toyota I was ok with that. The car now has 92k miles and I just had to replace the water pump. Unfortunately it is electric and could only be bought from Toyota (no aftermarket). That set me back $1000. Hopefully I will have no other issues. Always appreciate your video’s and commentary.
A new water pump on a 2018 with less than 100k is insane, i have a 2002 Silverado with 193k- original water pump, 2006 Fusion with 223k- original water pump, and even a 2001 jeep wrangler- original water pump. Camrys can be ok cars, but not as good as Scotty claims
Toyotas just don't have the reputation that they used to have
"Unfortunately it is electric and could only be bought from Toyota (no aftermarket)."
All Toyota water pumps are made by Aisin and you do not have to buy from a dealer. Rock Auto sells the water pump for your 2018 for $172 . It is a original Toyota water pump and they just grind the Toyota logo off of it. If you can DIY you save even more or go to your favorite mechanic and not the dealer. Rock Auto has many OEM parts for Toyota. Just do a little research on who actually makes the part next time and save a bundle.
Great Reviews!
What model year is this Camry? Thank you for the review.
Thank you Scotty. If God permits me to get enough money to purchase one of these, it will happen then.
For the time being my 2002 Lexus does a good job around town and short 50 mile trips.
Stick with the Lexus
Evening Scotty. Thanks for doing what you do for us.
I really love the current generation Honda Passport.
Yes it has the push button transmission controls instead of a grippy thing.
The 3.5l v6 is nice, decent power.. trans is that 9 speed that you might nor like.. but man I really like it.
It's 2 Row but nice size.. great in the snow.. it looks pretty nice
I just test drove a hybrid Honda Crv touring. It was nice!
Love Toyota. The current pricing on new and used, they’re out of the question. Period.
I was ready, for the first time in my life to buy a new car. We want to replace our 2006 Toyota HH. I was figuring I'd just swallow hard and pay the $52m MSRP for a 2023 HH. But, after seeing the dealers $10m over MSRP markups, Toyota cutting production and, I can't order one, I'm out too.
However, Scotty has piqued my interest in the CX-90 PHEV. It seems I can get one at or slightly below, MSRP. Locally. I used to carpool to work and one of the carpoolers had a 626. I really liked that car. It was very upscale for it's time and, quite reliable. Going to have to give Mazda another look now.
Tried out the Camry 2 years ago. The 8 speed tranny was hesitating and hunting for gears. Couldn't wait to get that car back to the dealership. My old Buick Lesabre with the 4 speed transmission is better than a Camry. Smoother ride and better transmission.
Agreed
I agree 100%. Used one for a rental, couldn't STAND IT!
Love scotty 's 💙 reviews
I ‘m concerned about the maintenance on the CX90, Scotty can you please discuss what happens when it’s time to replace the timing chain and the cost. Do you have to drop the engine? How much will that cost
When Toyota took over as Mazda's main partner and they redesigned their entire lineup as SKYACTIV their reliability went so far up, I think it's a safe bet to say the CX-90 can make it to 1,000,000 with proper maintenance. I worked on an excellent condition first generation CX-5 with 480,000 on it, they last.
Makes me happy to hear as a Mazda customer driving a second gen CX-5. So far it's the best vehicle I've ever owned, and my first Japanese car. I'm excited for the future of the Toyota partnership, I think we'll see more hybrid engines make their way into Mazda's lineup.
But Mazda's drive like boats and the infotainment system and controls are a goddam nightmare. I have a Mazda CX5 and a Kia Sportage. Mazda has a smoother engine but the Kia has far better handling and driver control design. Kia is a far better driver experience. I have had no problems since I bought new in 2017.
When did that happen? I drive a 2016 Mazda 2, do I have this new reliable technology?
@@kyyyy21 SKYACTIV would be on your car somewhere maybe by the engine. Check your manual, it will say SKYACTIV every other sentence.
CX-90 million miles LOL🤣😂
Scotty, here in norway taxi owners often used buy hybrids (now only full EV because of government regulations). I talked to a guy who own several cabs, and he used to drive toyota prius. He said that they could go 250000 miles without any major problems. 😄
It is true
It’s probably not like now but we had a 2005 Prius and the hybrid battery died 3 times
Scotty, the hybrid design makes so much sense, but, what about the battery repairs or replacement costs?
Great show Scotty! ? Do Mazda's still rust like they used to, in the not too distant past?
You know nothing about mazda I see. Mazdas are better than lexus in every other way, even the paint
Surprised to see a Mazda but made in Japan by itself says it all for me.
I like sunroofs. Like to look up once in a while.
Unless they leak
I love watching your videos because you get so enthused while you are talking 😂❤
My next vehicle will definitely be one of these three. I appreciate Scotty’s expertise and advice. I wish I would have known sooner before I got a new 2020 Hyundai Tucson SEL. It only has 23,000 miles now and I don’t like it or trust it. VERY sluggish with poor gas mileage. Once in a while acts like it doesn’t want to start. Will be selling it. But on a good note, I just checked today and it was made in Korea, thankfully. Can’t imagine how much worse it would be if made in Mexico.
I've owned quite a few different makes and models of vehicles. I have to say that I am always pleasantly surprised by Mazda. I recently purchased a Mazda CX-30. That car is an absolute pleasure to drive! It's fun...quiet...and very premium. It has more HP than its segment competitors and feels more like a Lexus, BMW, Mercedes or Audi than a Toyota or Honda. Yet, the irony is that the Mazda cost less than even the Toyota, Honda or Ford! Before purchasing it, I was prepared to buy a Toyota, Honda, Subaru or Ford. However, after doing my homework, I went all-in on the CX-30. It really was the best decision that I could have made. It offers so much more for less money.
How about subaru forester ? Are they cheaper ? I think Mazda cx50 is more expensive then all of them
@@starobinful Is it? I thought that the Forester is somewhat more expensive. Plus, I think that the premium driving experience of the CX-50 is better than the Forester (I speak from experience). I like the Forester more than many other SUVs. However, I like the CX-50 even more than the Forester.
Not a fan of buying new but I'm sure the CX90 will still be newer in a couple years. I want one
I’ve never bought ‘Brand New’ and twenty years later my family is much better off for it.
Cars are like an appliance, used for utility and have a cost to maintain. Skip the 20% depreciation by buying used. 💪🏽
bought a 2012 Camry new and used it to Uber. at 200k miles its still running great. I never thought Id brag about it but you cant deny its a super realizable car thats good on gas and has taken incredible amounts of punishment.
The picture of that old Camry reminds me of my parent's 1984 Toyota Camry. We used to take that little workhorse 2500 miles roundtrip every summer to visit my Grandparents in this podunk town called Gassville Arkansas.
I want the Mazda just purely for the straight six.
Just beware of the Timing Chain in the rear of the engine. DCT Transmission?
I hate the sunroofs also! I don’t need glare & it’s always closed anyway. Not to mention it’s less safe & leaks can occur…
@user-xe9zc4ng8w Had sunroofs for ever never had a issue. I use my sunroof daily. Glare that's a new one, close the ahade😎
I was averaging 45 mpg driving from NY to Fl with my 2019 Camry se, still mind blowing for me.
Im don’t care about mpg when you drive so far it should be comfortable (im driving escalade or minivan to fl)
whats mind blowing about that you get even more mpg with a hybrid
Got daughters a 2015 camry with cvt. Thing has been a dream even with over 120k miles now. Cvt rubs strong and fast. Especially if u shift your self. 175hp is alot in a small car. Over 28mpg all the time
My brother had a 2015 Camry, not sure what transmission, but the transmission went at 155k
The Camry was never available with a CVT...
test drove a Hybrid Camry yesterday, and it drove extremely smooth in my opinion. Granted, my daily driver is a 2013 Highlander, so i really haven't driven any modern cars lately. The new 2023 Hybrid Camry SE was listed for 31K and felt that was a good price. I didn't end up buying it because they later told that a Corolla Cross Hybrid was due on the lot within a week, so i ended up going with that.
have you test driven the Corolla Cross?
Yes both the Hybrid and ICE engine versions
Hey Scotty, Nitrogen in my tires helps keep the air pressure much more stable. Therefore, I spend about 75% less time having to refill the tires. It's free at Costco. Anyone can use it during business hours. Thank you for your informative videos.👍🏽
"the angels are with us" made me laugh way too hard hahaha
That 2.5 camry blew my mind when I heard the exhaust note as you pulled out of your neighborhood
Thanks Scotty. You've made my decision much easier.
I purchased a brand new 2009 Toyota Camry SE in 2008. At first it seemed like a great vehicle. A few years in, It was loaded with issues. Repair after repair, and eventually total engine replacement. My daughter recently was driving it and something broke, she lost total control of the vehicle and slammed into the wall. Air bags DID NOT deploy. Thank God she was ok. No more Camry's for us!!!
Unfortunately there's always a bad lemon on every tree.. you were just the unlucky one. Bushyboy Oz.
I have a 2009 carolla , still have it , no major problems
Said no one in the entire lifespan of Toyota’s existence. very uncommon, your daughter ilikely is doing this car out without you lookin.
Love my 2020 Camry SE. Just got some brand new Michelin Cross Climate 2s on it today and cant wait for the winter to test them out. Absolutely amazing car for the past 3 years. Great on gas, and very zippy.
Also Scotty, you never noticed that it has paddle shifters on the wheel .... :)
Nice 👌
Got some Michelin Cross Climate 2s for my Subaru here in Colorado. I like them. They do good in the snow.
That tires best in all seasons in my minivan
I saw on another video that repairs on a CX-90 could be a lot because you have to practically disassemble the engine to get to some of the timing chains.
I have a Mazda 3 and a CX-50. Great cars for the price imo.
The trick Scotty, is finding a new MY2023/4 Camry or CRV that isn't marked up to a totally crazy degree or presold. At least in the US it's really crazy out there rn... Godspeed Toyota or Honda buyers ;-;
We're in such a different market now with 'Tried and True' brands that they're quite difficult to source a fair price, its hard to shop now on the basis of MSRP because the difference between the 'real' price and what the manu's say can be like 25-30% more.
Get the mazda , drives better and more features
I had a CX-90 drive behinde me... it looks sooooooo much better in real life. Looked like a much more expensive car.
They do look nice on the road!
I think that you've provided THREE fantastic options!!
Thanks @Scotty!!
Scotty, what is the gray vehicle sitting next to the Mazda, CX 90? It’s just me and I am in my upper elderly years but I’m looking for a smaller car. I don’t need an SUV. I was considering a Toyota Corolla or Honda civic- any thoughts?
I tried out a new Camry. The transmission was annoying because it was continuously changing. And the seats were uncomfortable. It is built so low to the ground that I couldn't get in without bumping my head. And after you fell into the hole (back seats), it was very hard to crawl or climb out. Not a good car for someone tall or someone with a bad back or bad knee.
I see, a very good honest report. An SUV (like a Toyota RAV4 and Toyota Highlander) is a much higher entry to get into and out of. Also the Toyota Sienna AWD minivan as well.
99% of the population will be fine with the Camry.
For tall man the suv of allroad vehicle is better
Scotty kilmer is the greatest showman 😊😊
Wife bought a '23 xse so it does have push start but other than and the fact it's not a v8 like her old Lexus, (which I reall miss), this camry nice and sexy. Rides nice and handles pretty good. Not a hybrid so getting more like 28mpg combined.
Hi Scotty, what about the Volvo XC60? They are about the same price as the Mazda you featured in this video.
I want a Mazda CX-70 when it comes out next year.
I like cars with real keys, gears, buttons, and knobs!
I like push button start
@@Idiotsincarshere that's a button 😉
@@johnrobinson5156 haha, indeed! No real key though!
@@Idiotsincarshere Maybe a real key for the door?
@@OrangeUp I’ve had keyless entry for atleast 15 years. It’s convenient.
Love this dude
Scott the problem with buying any car now is that I don't think they are doing the work they are suppose to do on your car.
Too bad Toyota's are unobtainable right now. Maybe one day they will deliver enough to US so dealers don't sell with a ridiculous market adjustment.
We have the Honda crv 2024 hybrid version and we love it.
I don't drive. Probably will never drive. Find his voice tone mildly irritating overall.... but still love watching this guy's videos. He's got such a fun, vibrant personality. God bless!
Bought the Honda CRV 2024 Sport!! Cant wait
Love Mazdas. Highly underrated IMO.
used to be trash when ford was part of mazda
@@hassyg4083 Yeah well I had a 90s era Escort that had 250,000 miles on it. Thanks to Mazda! 🐴 😂 (horse laugh)
@@737Parkie You couldn’t kill those old escorts
@@Mike-ij5hn great gas mileage too….
I got my license in one of those Escorts. My mom drove that thing all over the place with no problems of any kind. As long as you did regular maintenance, they were surprisingly reliable.
I'd like to sit down and have a beer with you Scotty.
The problem with the Mazda is the timing chain is in the back of the engine. It is a split configuration with the center sprocket linked to a shaft driving the high-pressure fuel pump for the direct injectors. . The fuel pump resides under the intake manifold. If the pump or chain goes bad it requires pulling the engine. In fact, the engine is so tight in the engine compartment that almost any work requires pulling/lifting the engine. Check me on this; word to the wise.
Do you like any electric sedans? I’m asking you because I’ve had too many headaches from owning a 2014 MB GL diesel
Why do you keep holding the start button ? Just press it and let go
One thing this guy always tells the truth 👏
Hey Scotty great video content as always. So I am planning on getting the Mazda CX90, but I am not sure if I should just get the PHEV version of it since the trim that I like has only a 2K USD price difference. I drive for about 20,000 miles a year, on average. Please help me decide; it will be greatly appreciated.
One thing your leaving out anything that goes wrong with new Mazdas you have to pull engine to repair.big thing to leave out
@@dennishaynes7956wait what explain pls
Regarding sunroofs..yeah, not having one provides stability. It also makes it a little claustrophobic. Not gonna say anything like the roof shattering. It's a preference..not a safety problem.
Yeah, but haven't you advised against turbo engines and against hybrid vehicles?
He hates a turbo for sure because it’ll stress your engine - but he only dislikes hybrid because when it does break it is expensive to fix. He actually wants to put a kit on his Matrix to either make it hybrid or electric (I can’t recall exactly).
@@sunnygirl9691 he has no clue , diesel turbo cars last long time
@@sunnygirl9691All that is understandable, but out of all 3 we could've used at least 1 car with no gimmicky tech.
@@chaelcanterbury8787 I was answering the original post. I have no dog in this fight.
My complaint with the CX-90 is simply this: for its size, it only seats 6. Now that back row has _BIG_ individual seats... so it'll be a comfortable six. But I still think that a bench for the third row would've been the make-or-break point for me.
Sounds like you need a minivan.....
@@dvaritek434 My wife currently drives a Toyota Sienna -- a minivan -- and it's fantastic. But it's also coming up on time to replace it. I myself drive a 2016 Mazda 6 - base trim-level -- and it's absolutely made a Mazda believer out of me.
For whatever reason, if that CX-90 were available with 7-person seating -- meaning 3 people in the back row, or even in the middle row, that would be it -- the _perfect_ vehicle for our needs.
@TROOPERfarcry I believe some trims have 7 seats, if I'm not mistaken...
Some lower level trims fit 8. I have the middle trim PHEV and it fits 7.
And like all new vehicles, the Cx-90 is way too expensive. The manufacturers hVe lost all semblance of sanity.
Scotty you rule' thx for the limitless info on cars...
I have a 2019 Camry SE and everything that Scotty says in this video is spot on. I love the car. It does everything well and it gets outstanding gas mileage. Never regretted this purchase for one second.
