@Martin Unfortunately, it looks like the car is not being repaired very well, certainly for a 5 year old Bentley. I saw in the video, instead of the whole rear quarter panel being replaced with a new one, we saw part of the panel being cut out and then in the next shot the rear quarter was in primer. May have been a second hand piece welded in and then the join smoother over with filler. You are then at the mercy of the type of welding done, whether the join was butt or lap of plugged and whether any weld thru primer was used etc, Not to mention cavity wax protection after the car is painted. We didn't see any of these stages.

Spray-painting in the middle of a dusty garage?? Wow, please tell me this is not where you are going to get the ferrari sprayed.
It's just primer - you don't need a booth. It all gets knocked down in prep.

It was just primer, common practise. It will be flatted before basecoat.
Everything gets "flattened" but that doesn't mean you start off this way

There was once a time when unavailability and economics kept insanely fast cars out of the hands of complete pricks. Not anymore. Every town is now an extension of the Nurburgring, home to competing Mercs, BM’s, Audis and even Bentleys, now. Things of beauty but weapons in the wrong hands.

These types of slot games are the worst! Highly addictive and just sap cash of those who can afford it least. I have no issue with TH-camrs including an add to boost their income but this this one does nothing but damage the Ratarossa brand. He's too good to be advertising this rubbish!!
@Martin you need to read the room. No one is saying he doesn’t have the right to choose who he advertises with or what he advertises. But most of us think advertising gambling is not cool and we have the right to choose not to watch and support channels that advertise it. That’s why we’ve given the feedback in the comments.

You’d be absolutely crazy to buy a used, (especially a crashed one) Bentley. Air problems, injection problems, window . . . etc. And I won’t mention leaks. A warning, don’t. It’s a box to pour money into.
Unless you work on Bentley’s , and know them like the back of your hand, don’t roll the dice on this one, you’ll lose far more...

I can't stand seeing spraying being done like that, that uncovered car just next to it, just asking for overspray issues. The cars they are dealing with, getting a booth or using the one they have should really be mandatory.

A lot of channels cover Ferraris there is not much out there on Bentley products especially coming from your angle on the market. If you blend it with Ferrari you minimise your channel risk going for a narrower interest market sector. It obviously would make a great daily for you with VAG parts bin to explore… I think it’s a winner all round. I’ll keep watching that’s for sure..

You have to spend so much more to keep it on the road.Theyre known to be Euro car unreliable not Japanese reliable.Buying or rebuilding this car is like shooting yourself in the foot,it won't kill you but it'll hurt like hell,cripple you for awhile and you might lose part of your foot.
Did you check with Bentley directly on part costs? Another channel was amazed to find them cheaper than other sources.

He works quite a bit slower in terms of hours, but he uses older techniques like lead instead of the quick drying filler that is way easier to manipulate.
Bentley driving is boring after a few weeks - Remember - so stick to Ferrari or Italian or the Jensen Interceptor in the background. The Bentley is no more than a souped up Volkswagen and hence is not a fun hobby car, just A to B...

Thing is with today's Bentleys are that they aren't real Bentleys any longer. I can not forgive the visible gap between the rear valance and the rear wings. Real Bentleys would have that lead loaded......
Flash back of sitting at a red light when a polish truck driver ripped the front end off my dads Flying Spur as he went through a Red light and almost killed me and the woman walking over the crossing.

Don't sell a Ferrari. The Bentley grows on you. It has for me. But, the test of a really magnificent car is that you love it at first sight. Which, like for me, the Bentley didn't do.

Ring around Bentley dealers as some have very minor defected/ scratched or minor damage and sell off cheep !
Leave it mashed up and it's a cool daily driver you won't worry about parking lot dings scratches and new dents. You could even leave it in a grocery store's lot without fears.

The Bentley is a poor purchase. Your Ferraris and the Porsche (you still have the 911?) will appreciate. Over time ICE Ferraris and Porsches will become even more desirable; Bentleys don't and likely won't. And you'll enjoy MOT exemption sooner. I think your 512 is near 40 years. The Ratarossa is 6 years from exemption. The Bentley marque doesn't enjoy the same cachet amongst petrol heads who buy used vehicles and Bentley's target market tends not to buy used. They're the WAG of motoring.
If you want a stunning vroom with a view, the ride like the Jaguar E-type is the route to take.
