Yeah, the lack of sleep and anxiety did the talking during my interview, first job interview ever and I'm learning the hard way by watching this video. Thanks for the tips which I passed my federal background check and CBT exam (which is good until January 26th, 2024) so I'm not letting one bad interview define me which I'll get another opportunity in September.
Just remember the questions you were asked, they’ll come up again

it was helpful being reminded to use the STAR format and knowing the general structure of interview questions. I will be getting interviews relatively soon for several analyst positions and I was wondering if you had any advice specific to interviews for statistical analyst or data scientist positions. Your questions are going be technical in nature. Most likely ask how you collected data, how you analyzed it, what the data was used for and why. If you read the skills in the job posting, just turn those into question and you’ll be in the ballpark. Watch me video on predicting interview questions.

Has anyone done the panel interview for the federal air marshals which comes after the air marshal computer test?

I had my structure interview this past Friday and was told I was over qualified for the job !
90% of the people who apply are over qualified. It's just an easy gateway to government employment till you move on else where. Stick around anyways, the advice I give isn't just for TSA. You can use it when applying to other agencies as well.

Hello I have a question. Does the Traffic Management Specialist fall into the structured Government interview question?
If it’s a federal job then they all fall into the same federal interview structure. If the job you’re applying to is highly technical then you will get more technical questions vs situation/behavioral
Would these questions will apply to the federal reserves as well ?
Yes they would. I just got done working with a subscriber that interviewed with the reserve. However, the reserve will ask more technical questions since it’s a private entity.
What if you are to have a in person interview with the FRLEO
For the LEO positions you will be asked more questions regarding situational and behavioral questions.

@@theTSAguy just this one, I answered the questions to the best of my ability some of them took me a while to answer because I had to think of a time that happened and I stuttered a lot while trying to think of it

@vV0772 it depends on how the airport wants to do it. Might be 2, 4, or 6. No set number.
How long where you there for ?
Its unbelievable they asked me those questions and tried to tell em everything from performing in a professional way according to the regulations of the agency and acting very humane and they disqualify me even though i work in an environment so similar to the airport and i work with the same equipments like XRAY MACHINES,METAL DETECTORS, WANDS AND i work in a team and with the general public in the main court house from my county i been doing this job for the past 5 years and when it came to the time for my Airport Assesment virtual interview they put a NQ meaning NOT QUALIFIED its unbelievable i couldnt believe it i didnt have no other choice to think it was cause cause of my accent or for not being born physically here in the US cause i have my US passport but i was born abroad anyways iam so disappointed at this point
I was born overseas and I worked with a lot of people with accents. That doesn't play a role in hiring. I also stutter, so it's more of a reason to not hire me, but I did fine.
@@theTSAguy i see that but then why did they disqualify me? was it 2 females who gave you the interview? cause i got that interview with 2 females 1 white and the other one a black lady, or maybe they are looking to hire more females but iam shocked with the experience i do have that i got this disqualification so dissapointed and mad at the same time, but thank you anyways you are a great relief.
My interview was 10 years ago, I left TSA in 2013 to take a promotion with another DHS agency. I was interviewed by a white guy and black lady. Never had any problems. Not a single time. I'll have to to over your interview with you when you contact me
