The engine is too slow for me. I wouldn’t spend 500k on that, even if I was looking for a compact SUV. The value of the Nissan has dropper quite significantly because you can get one under 500k. I’d opt for that and the fuel performance isn’t that bad. More power and Nissan is reliable too. If the car is packed, you’ll struggle on a hill and the cvt will whine at you.
If you u are looking for a power well this is not a car for you. U rather opt for 208 however the price might be higher than this. With all that being said and done this is a good car....
You can't believe this was watching reviews of this cars few hours ago. I may say this is a good car if you want something reliable nd compact suv for your family. Just forget about anything else. If you want performance/power just go for T--Roc 2.0 TSI...
Great review! I’m in the market for a compact SUV and considering the Cross Hybrid. Initially, I was leaning toward the Jolion Hybrid because of its tech and extra power, but I’ve realized that’s more about ego. I think I’ll go with this one instead 👌🏾
Yeah, this one is good if you want to stick to what you know and trust. The Jolion, as you say, offers more power and features, but I think the same safety. If power on Hills and overtake matter, then this is not for you. But you can never go wrong with Toyota.

@@sivuyilemahamba7765 it’s a great car.
I love the fact it have a spare wheel unlike other hybrid cars.
It's definitely a good point.. what must happen when you have a puncture at night?

Not the video beginning with it saying it's the ultimate teachers car and my mom is a teacher and they just got this 😂😂😂😂
I have the GR Sport Hybrid and its quite fast...and I save on petrol want another car though
I think I should have a drive in that. But I personally understand what it's all about. Fuel efficiency.
How much power does this engine produce when the battery is off?
The battery of a hybrid cannot completely go off. So same power output all the time. They work in harmony to give you the same power all the time.
There are more suzukis in that Toyota dealership than Toyotas. If Toyota themselves trust suzuki why shouldnt you.... Just buy one and save
😁 that's true though. 👍
But there isn't a Suzuki hybrid readily available in South Africa
The engine does not have the black cover to protect from dust? 😢😢😢
Why does the Philippines verson have a sunroof and not SA!!!!!
They just don't want to give us that sunroof here in SA
I own a 2021 toyota hybrid, DO NOT BUY IT it's frustratingly slow on the hill it really prioritize efficiency
I agree with you. It's all about efficiency not power.
Acceleration was 11.7 / Downhill. very slow.
Very very slow. There's a lot options at that price point in the market.
Nobody is buying a family SUV wanting to take the car on a track day. Do not compare apples to oranges.
@91mrbrooks You a point sir 👉 . So it all depends on purpose...
@@mzansipopularrideswhat models in the market can one go for it that price bracket?
