After the refresh in 2022, the Rav4 allegedly fixed the "cablegate" issue, so I´d say the Rav4 after 6 years is more reliable than the current CRV, at least before a refresh of the latter.

For Hyundai, maybe. It will get fixed eventually under warranty but be prepared to fight them, have poor service, long repair times, limited access to loaner or rental cars on Hyundai's dime, and more trips to the dealer.
The reliability of both Hyundai and Nissan is below the vehicles on this list. Resale value is lower too. They only make sense if you get an outstanding deal and save a lot of money vs the rest.

I wonder how can anyone here mention The underrated the king MITSUBISHI 🎉 It’s showing me most people in here don’t really have great experience about vehicle besides the ones who also mentioned the other king SUBARU In north America people become lazy they just wait for the hype and follow. Yes must car here are good but remember Toyota and Honda are the same anymore. Now it’s business and Honda is something you should think twice if you plan long term and lots of driving. Best vehicle or Brands are Subaru Mitsubishi the king that North American doesn’t promote and lastly i will go for Toyota if there is any room then I probably squeeze a Honda. All the others trash with technology shit.
Warranties need to be included in a review. Toyota's warranty is only 36k miles. $41k + is a lot to pay for something they will only stand behind for a year and a half.
Nobody wants a fuck hybrid! Your insurance goes up the battery only last 5 to 7 years and then what? What happens when you get into an accident you wind up probably paying more?
Very odd comparison. Who mixes mainstream vehicles with luxury and subcompact and compact. No one has a budget of +/- $30 K that would make this type of comparison. Your Mazda bias is not even remotely hidden. Video was a total waste of time!
I think you’re looking for a reviewer that’s going to give you what you wanna hear instead of him giving his view. You don’t come to a channel to make the reviewer what you want him to say. You come for his different perspective.
I so disagree with this lol Subaru should not be on the bottom no way and the honda is nice if you dont take into consideration that the awd is not as good as the other vehicles!!!!!! And how do you compare a little crostrex to a rav or cx50 they are very different size vehicles poor review
Can't understand the constant promotion of a Subaru. The engines I'm told are weak and unconventional to work on. And who needs four wheel drive and the related fuel consumption? And you mention a cvt gearbox. Three reasons in my mind that disqualify a Subaru.
They hold up very well in terms of reliability and offer great value. They are certainly not perfect, which is why I put them towards the bottom of this list.
Subaru - the worst of all. Never ever buy a subbi. It has turned out to be a white elephant. Lackluster interiors, poor gas mileage and above all high maintenance fees.
I would never touch a Subaru, mostly just known for its AWD but everything else (boxer engine, CVT, infotainment, interior quality and materials) is lacklustre and boring
Not really. Don't know where you have got that 411. Wrong. Have a 2013 Crosstrek. 250000 miles. Still runs good. 27mpg. Brakes standard price. Coil and plugs same. 6 sets of tires. @ 600 and the one major a new cat 1800. That's all normal for a 13 year old car. Let me know if what your driving reaches 250k.
Although I do agree on the lackluster features, the maintenance and reliability in my experience has been exceptional the last 5 years on a 2019 base Impreza. Consumer reports also list Subaru as the highest rated reliable brand this year.
I don’t think you understand what he was saying. He said that they need to lower their prices or the tariffs will come. It’s called a threat and cars were much cheaper when he did it last time.
I don’t see any point to keep watching your videos. Best car/suv : Toyota, Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Honda. Honestly, who cares about reliability in North America, we don’t buy cars for the rest of our lives! All this relevant to whom are living in countries such as India or Russia. I get new ford every 3/4 years and I enjoying it cause I don’t care about reliability since I get bump to bump warranty every time. Just drive whatever your heart desires. You have one life to live.
Because of inflation and tighter budgets, people want to make a smart purchase. A lot of buyers out there do look for reliability and resale value. If you know he’s gonna trend this way then why do you come to complain at all? Just go to a channel that serves you. Yes you only live once but that doesn’t mean you have to be happy by putting yourself into unnecessary debt. The way that you enjoy life is you enjoy your family and friends and a romantic partner if you have one and to go and see and do things. Life isnt about cars. I think most people view cars as a means to an end.
@ read first what I’ve commented and then reply! I’ve said we don’t care about reliability in Canada since we don’t drive same cars more than 4/5 years. The only reason you’ll buy a 10 years old car in here is because you’re broke or teenager. Most of the people who are chasing reliable new cars are the ones who immigrated from poor countries and still have this mentality of buying a lifetime car or senior people who don’t care about design or driving experience. Because the driving experience in Toyota or Honda is horrible. They aren’t made for fun
The interesting thing is that if you buy one of the ultra reliable models to only keep for 3-4 years, you STILL win! The most reliable models also have the highest resale value, so you get most of your money back when you trade them after a few years. Just look at how much a 2-3 year old RAV4 Hybrid sells for. So from a financial standpoint, reliability absolutely matters and benefits you whether you buy short term or long term.
@@carhelpcorner about 8 years ago I’ve purchased my first brand new car in Canada and it was Ford Fusion Ecoboost. I wanted to lease but wasn’t approved since I didn’t have enough credit history after being only 2 years in country. And it’s important to mention that I’ve tested all cars in the the same class , such as Altima, Passat, Accord and Camry. I’ve focused more on Camry since everyone told me to do so and after test driving that car I was totally disgusted by the horrible driver experience. Super loud inside, ugly and cheap interior design and then I went for Fusion and I had it for 5 years without having any major problems even though it was Ecoboost . Plus I didn’t loose any money after trading it for another ford car. Additional to that, I spent an amazing 5 years driving this car. It was very good looking car from outside and inside. Consumer Reports just rated Subaru the #1 car manufacturer in the world. Best of the best. Topgun 🏆
CRV Hybrid #1 SUV Topgun 🏆
CX-50 awesome, but brutal backbreaking seats 😭
Shari, Canadas #1 auto consultant. 💯 factual. 💯 honest. Topgun #1 🏆 🇨🇦
@billyrock8305 This won't last long. Toyota and Lexus dropped 1 spot because of the new engines and transmission they've introduced. Honda CRV hybrid being on number 1 is very puzzling. It's relatively new and haven't been tested. Time will tell as their ranking consistently goes up and down.
Where does the Nissan Rogue stand?
Trash car
The Toyota Rav4 Or the Lexus NSX are better vehicles than the Honda CRV.
Mitsubishi outlender phev?
I would not call the crv exactly "small" it is def bigger than most of the others on this list and really midsized.
No tucson?
I love my CRV
Actually, the Mazda CX 5 will have a hybrid available in 2025
With all of Honda''s recalls??????
What you call small is prettig big in the Netherlands, don't you have cx-3 in the US?
In North America these are all classified as "compact" and "subcompact" SUVs, even though some are certainly big.
cx-3 discontinued in the US. I guess the cx-30 replaced it.
Thoughts on the GMC terrain?
Your favorite ?
No Hyundai Tucson??
Baby boomers are the majority of car buyers, we really need sedans back for first time car buyers to have a chance.
What about Dacia / Renault Duster 2025
Can they last for over 15 years?
Not in Canada. Unless you park it inside snd drive less than 10k a year which is almost impossible.
Cars:
1. Toyota
2. Honda
3. Mazda
4. Subaru

How about Hyundai Kona/Tucson and Nissan Kicks? Can the long warranty make up for the reliability?
For Hyundai, maybe. It will get fixed eventually under warranty but be prepared to fight them, have poor service, long repair times, limited access to loaner or rental cars on Hyundai's dime, and more trips to the dealer.
I have experience with 5 Hyundais in my house and family. I can't comment with real experiences on Nissan.
The reliability of both Hyundai and Nissan is below the vehicles on this list. Resale value is lower too. They only make sense if you get an outstanding deal and save a lot of money vs the rest.
You keep repeating same thing over n over again.
Please bring some reviews on GM cars, also put some light on advanced features, premium cabins, premium ride quality not just reliability
Thank you tho 🙏
Don't expect anything different, he's a domestic car hater.
Mazda CX30 too small of an interior. I'm 70 inches and my head hits the top. Went with the CX5
These are like station wagons 🤣I think an SUV is the RAV4 from 2005 Suzuki grand Vitara early 2000 Nissan Xterra 💯It’s like every car on the road looks exactly like anymore 🥱
Subaru's interior is not good everything is in the screen and there are no buttons.
How does the Chevy Trax rank among these? 😭 That's the one I'm aiming for
I looked at all these options and decided on the Buick Envista Avenier. Has been a year and totally reliable. Could not be happier and I did not spend a fortune.
The Cadillac AT4 didn’t make the list, or is it just in a different category?
Dude, you're prejudice against Korean manufacturers (KIA, Hyundai), makes me curtail your videos 99% of the time. Get with the program!
I wonder how can anyone here mention
The underrated the king
MITSUBISHI 🎉
It’s showing me most people in here don’t really have great experience about vehicle besides the ones who also mentioned the other king
SUBARU
In north America people become lazy they just wait for the hype and follow.
Yes must car here are good but remember Toyota and Honda are the same anymore.
Now it’s business and Honda is something you should think twice if you plan long term and lots of driving.
Best vehicle or Brands are
Subaru
Mitsubishi the king that North American doesn’t promote and lastly i will go for Toyota if there is any room then I probably squeeze a Honda.
All the others trash with technology shit.
Wheres Kia, Hyundai, jeep. Cherokee
Warranties need to be included in a review. Toyota's warranty is only 36k miles. $41k + is a lot to pay for something they will only stand behind for a year and a half.
Couldn't agree with you more.
Nothing said about warranties. When I buy a car I want to last 15-20 years. Not 3 years or 36000 miles. Call me old fashion.
Why Kia Sportage hybrid isn’t on the list?
👍
Who is here after kartel buy him daughter one😊
The only reliable cars or suvs are DIYs. Now figure out which are diy cars and suv . You can take those to any mechanic or do yourself
Nobody wants a fuck hybrid! Your insurance goes up the battery only last 5 to 7 years and then what? What happens when you get into an accident you wind up probably paying more?
You forgot to mention a great SUV: The Kia Sorento
Wow, there’s a lot of porn bots in the comment section today
No love for the Sportage?
🤢
The hybrid is very good, but it falls behind the very best in some areas.
All Japanese 😅
Very odd comparison. Who mixes mainstream vehicles with luxury and subcompact and compact. No one has a budget of +/- $30 K that would make this type of comparison. Your Mazda bias is not even remotely hidden. Video was a total waste of time!
Please share the glaring omissions.
It's not a comparison video. It's a list of the 10 best. ALL are great in different ways depending on what the buyer wants.
All of them are too BIG !!!!!!!
Buy a Subaru with your eyes closed!
Completely agree on the high maintenance costs. No more Subarus for me.
@@truco187 yes i agree.
No Hyundais or Kias? Come on.
These vehicles will be anything but affordable in the US once Trump follows through with his tariff threats.
I don’t think you understand what he was saying. He said that they need to lower their prices or the tariffs will come. It’s called a threat and cars were much cheaper when he did it last time.
@@Kp08ogNo. He’s putting tariffs on regardless. Things will get more expensive if he does.
No way hybrid for me
I don’t see any point to keep watching your videos.
And I still miss that car - and this kind of experience that you’ll never get from Toyota. I never heard these kind of words from Toyota owners, they only say how reliable it is.
@@Ya-nv8ciTruly wealthy people buy 2nd hand cars or drive them into the ground. Buying new cars regularly means adding 10 years onto your retirement age….
Tesla model Y is much better than any of these.
Honda Passport 6 cyl all wheel drive, luxury interior…
