Non-hybrids took a serious knock at trade-in due the heavy discounts being offered on hybrid models........ BAD NEWS for non-hybrid owners. Got rid of my XS after 2-years/ 12 500km of ownership.
I bought a Corolla Cross Hybrid Atmos, and waited a year for it. I received it 23/10/23. My biggest problem has been the battery. It would not start at home three times and I had to call the RACQ each time. So far I have done 7600 klms. I have had a new battery installed and it has started each time since. I am getting 4.69 L/100 but most of that has been city driving. It is a good car to drive.
Seat heaters would be nice but I still like LE seats and I’m 6’2”. Rest is spot on . Funny that I was looking at car Noise dampener earlier. 62000 miles so far. “Warning” safety collision noise doesn’t work on low speeds. Don’t ask how I know lol . And automatic engine off is so F-ing annoying . Engine always turns off when you actually need to go and losing time to move, and the low power makes extremely dangerous going on hi roads sometimes
@@anackonnagrp7284 Yes, Australia. Base model Corolla Cross is from AUD40,932, base model Yaris Cross is from AUD35,116. All hybrid. All passenger model Toyotas sold in Australia now are hybrid only. Non-hybrid only available in larger 4wd and commercial vehicles.
I have just bought a Toyota Corola Cross Cruise Hybrid AWD 2024 and it's wonderful!

It was never meant to be a high performance vehicle. Who drives 150km/h anyway ??

Driving 150km/h on the highway, the noise is unbearable. No thanks Toyota.
You by the Hybrid it’s a no brainer.Your title is very misleading
clickbait title. why are people u[voting it
Car makers listen up !! Especially Toyota, quit making CVT transmissions ! They drive like crap and don't hold up for the life of the vehicle.
The eCVT is actually very good and reliable.
Wow, what a bullshit
