I like Slavia over Virtus anyday because Slavia looks very very elegant and it wont age even after 10 years !
My first choice was always the Slavia until I saw the Virtus GT in black in real life. Both cars are excellent choices. I’m just hoping the Slavia’s upcoming facelift doesn’t make older models feel outdated for existing owners.

@@TheDeepSinghal facelift isn't coming, anytime before 5 years of launch, VW group has been testing numerous cars under a camouflage and it doesn't mean a facelift every 2 years, look at their history and u will know, if a facelift comes it will be first for Kushaq and if a facelift comes then it will only be with an ADAS which will be launched for Virtus as well and i doubt if it will make it look old atleast from outside !
I've seen both cars in black in person and the dark blue Slavia looks out of the world, even black has its own presence !
Virtus to me looks a little small from front although they are of same proportions technically!
@@SkiNett Good for everyone if no exterior changes are made in next Slavia. Looks are subjective though. Slavia looks wider and Virtus look longer so its a never ending discussion. Well I love both cars noone cant go wrong with either one of them.

I think the Skoda's front design is much more appealing than the Virtus. Additionally, I prefer the interior of the Skoda, particularly the scroll wheels on steering, which give off a more premium feel. However, I do think the Virtus has a more attractive rear design
Both are great cars. But I like the look of Slavia more
I don't agree, both VW & Skoda are not giving same features which are providing in other countries. It's depends on the looks of the car, few choose Virtus & other Slavia. Materials used are one & the same. You liked VW as per your taste.

I personally think VW Virtus provides us with more aspirational value apart from the aesthetics, but overall both the cars are good in their own way

Please share your ownership experience as I am planning to buy one,
1. Is the ac good enough to keep the cabin cool?
2. Have you faced any service related issues? Or felt like it's maintenance is high?
3. What mileage do you get when you drive rash or fast (as you have bought this for performance, so when you floor the pedal so what's the mileage)
4. Any issues with dsg in stop and go traffic, in 1st and 2nd gear shifting?
5. Any other problems?
Quite well explained, also I agree to the fact feel good factor is with GT.
VW owns ten brands worldwide. SEAT, CUPRA, AUDI, SKODA, LAMBORGHINI, BENTLEY, PORCHE, DUCATI ETC.ETC.
Saying that VW does the same design/cost cutting globally I don't think justifies their implementation atleast for Indian market. This also reflects in their low sales as well. Mostly enthusiasts buy VAG cars and they care more about function over form. And it's ironic they are messing with these enthusiasts by bringing in SFD 2.0 😅
Personally I feel that virtus interior is classic but didn't like that much glossy plastic. A strip of leather finish could have been better.
Consider it this way: manufacturers, including VW, are trying to manage car costs by substituting certain parts and using plastic instead of leather due to rising global expenses. They're aiming to keep the car within a certain budget. While SFD 2.0 can be quite frustrating, the preference for glossy plastic is subjective. Many people actually enjoy the piano finish in cars. However, I agree that a strip of leather finish could enhance the interior.
I have the same thinking, i drove both 1.0/1.5 Virtus, and the power lag i can feel.
Also if to sum up, there are few cosmetics changes with 1.0 and 1.5.
The difference b/w those two in pricing is around 2.5L but you wont only get 1 extra cylinder, more engine CC but also other changes, so that is the reason i am also opting for GT.

If someone who wants 1.5 TSI at budget range then slavia is for you & the clutch is smooth as compare to virtus clutch in 1.5 manual

It's all about perspective and individual taste. I own Virtus GT plus but like Slavia equally. However, during my stay in Europe for sometime I observed that VW is considered a more premium brand than Skoda (the perception is reverse in India 😊). Also top selling Skoda cars are designed like wagons there e.g. octavia wagon 😮).
I never listened from anyone who kept skoda over VW as premium brand in india. It is just that VW dont have updated jetta and passat compared with higher end skoda octavia and superb. Otherwise if you previously compared vento vs rapid. Polo & Vento was always have it own class and place over skoda in those segment. and same goes with Virtus & Slavia!
U can see radiator in front….nangi lagti hai front se….virtus ka back Accha h but no doubt Slavia s front looks like Octavia ❤️, also it has limited subwoofer models only in GT plus. Also so many button on steering for controls but Škoda did it in intelligent way by giving rotors. Simply clever

DSG ? life is 50k after which it cost 5lacs. hence 1.5 does not sell. 1.0 is stressfull driving in stop-go traffic.

Thanks for info. Do you have any analysis on facelift, do we need to wait for facelift.. i need 360 degree camera for sake of my wife's drive. But dealer charging 38K more which is toomuch. VW is confusing a lot
Bhai need to wait another year. To my knowledge MQB A0 platform cars dont have 360 camera hardware possible. But may be you gonna get 8k or 12k ops sensor with improve camera in next gen. or neve know if they can bring 360 camera OEM in anyway

It's better to get 8k ops instead of 360 cam because it's optical based guidelines system and you can see obstacle on that particular side. It senses kerb, or big stones objects on the road and shows which side particularly with guidelines and distance to it too. Also it activates automatically at slow speed. On 360 you can only see and you can't see kerbs or stones in the 360 top view, you need to individually change cam angles and see. Time consuming I would say.

In last line you said black leather seats. There is a correction virtus has leatherate seats whereas Slavia has leather seats. Leatherette seats will take u for a task during long hours. 😂
Bro, the Slavia isn't that premium to offer real leather. They provide leatherette just like the Virtus. When I said leather, I meant leatherette.

Y not TAIGUN when 2nd row of Virtus is not comfortable - straight back and no thigh support , leg room not good. It is a midsize sedan.

VW 2.0 Cars ka DSG Sach mei Unreliable hai ? Many cases it Overheated & Stopped
I never faced DSG over heat issue nor anyone did. It manages to maintain the usability without throwing error like hyundai and honda. DSG have some lag issues but not stoppage or overheat issues.

bhai congratulations for your car.But Honestly mai bhii kaafi time se VW chia Raha the and then I switched to Skoda Slavia in 2022 because virtus was not having manual in 2022 in 1.5 engine.But to my surprise Skoda ki service 3rd class hai bahut jyada bekar so aap Bach Gaye warna aap bahut Kharab feel karte.
