I had also driven both the cars and closing VW was for the same reasons. Excellent observation by the duos. Presently, I am driving Taigun GT1.5 manual.

I have a kushaq 1.0 bought just after 15 days on launch, almost 2 years now. Faced few issues as it was a new product and all fixed by Skoda service centre. Good part is I took 4 years service package for 16k and my 1st service after 1 year was totally free, in July it will be second and I believe this one will also not cost me a single penny. Average per ltr - 14 in city and on highways goes upto 19 with AC. I have been to Manali 3 times in this car and it ran very well giving 16/17 kmpl of average fuel consumption. Biggest satisfaction is the built quality, I knew it before the 5 star rating came because I am a proud owner of POLO and AMEO from past 11 years. Cheers!
Look wise my preference would be....SUV mei Kushaq but Sedan mei Virtus 🤩.
Both are offering complimentary service package and discounts but Skoda has opened more showroom and service centers in India so Skoda kushaq is an absolute choice
Skoda has much less showroom and service centres in India compared to Volkswagen. However, Skoda is registering more sale each month during 2022 and 2023.

Because creta and seltos are bigger than these two with more features and Indians are mad about Hyundai and Kia with more better than look . Skoda and vw cars look are bad . They should definitely come with better headlight designs like audi which maruti and Hyundai are focussing open . Skoda and vw are better than creta seltos but in only driving and safety .
Just a generic question,not specific to this post. Which 4 wheelers are most effective in providing rear realistic mirror view particularly in rainy seasons when Most of your side glasses need manual intervention to clear the view like wiping the mirrors

Taigun is design overdone with that excess chrome slapped everywhere and those infinity tail lamps look out of place. Kushaq is subtle on the other hand.
Bought Taigun 1.0 Highline MT in 13.85 on road in Dec 2022. Driven 7000km with an overall tank to tank mileage of 15.5kmpl.
Car has excellent driving dynamics and handling. But it has some problems
1. Ac is not very powerful
2. For small steches of driving it gives less than 10kmpl
3. The plastic fit level is not up to mark , door handles, and region near gear creates noises sometimes.
In my observations, it is a good highway car but not a good car for local city use.
Same prob with me also,i hate this

@siddharthsingh5031 bought it in December. In December and Jan, they become desperate to clear the stock and give huge discounts. Company also gives discount at that time.
Also, you need to negotiate with skoda and VW for pricing. In competition they offer better prices.
I got free service value pack of 60000km included in Price. Registration of 15 years in punjab. Insurance from agency . Everything included in 13.85 Lakh
DQ200 is the gearbox. Dry Clutch.

I have seen Taigun. While the looks and performance are v.good, I am wondering why they have not given a cover beneath the engine bay ? It’s exposed and will face issues in rainy season.
Just 1 correction, the transmission used in 1.5L is DQ 200 and not DQ 90.
And does it have any issues as mentioned in the video?.

Budget, variant and price jisme sahi ho wo leneme hoshiyari hai, na ki looks, agar dono ek hi hai. I feel Kushaq is more plush interior and softer cushi suspension. Seats in VW I felt inferior THAN Skoda

If want to spend 18 then definitely go for German

Not a single word about the After sales service for either, the main reason people do not go with VW/SKODA.

i own a 1L kushaq and im getting 10-9average in city and 14 in highway(moderately free, mostly cruising around be around 4th or 5th).....and this is after the software update for ac, before i used to get 3km more average....just curious if its just me or its happening for everyone
I own 1L Kushaq in the city bumper to bumper traffic it's not more than 4Km avg. On the highway if I maintain 90 speed I get 19 avg as well.
My mileage also dropped after AC update. With 11-12 kmph in traffic, mileage is 5.7 kmpl for my Kushaq 1.0 AT.

Kushaq fog lamp is at wrong position as there is a head light already at that position so fog lamp is not useful there. It has to be closer to road surface (Lower) VW has it at right place

What on earth is that driver talking? Suspensions are not great. I own a kushaq monte carlo 1.5 and while I love it, does have many negatives.
both feel like hatchbacks not SUV...the back seat is a real discomfort for the third person.

how come a car has so much of mileage difference in City vs Highway. is that you always drive in full traffic… either city mileage you claim is wrong or Highway one… city u said 13 and highway 21… 8 km ka difference… yeh kuch jama nahe 13 mileage is super low… this car doesnt have that big … sub 4 meter he hai..
That is true in city if you are going to less than 10km you will get below 10 mileage in traffic. But on highways at 90-100kmph it gives 20kmpl. I have achieved more than 20kmpl many times on highways.
But for city traffic mileage is not good.
I have a 2013 VW polo which gives me an average of 21kmpl on the highway.

Hello prithvi don’t know why it sounds useless to you. But actually a genuine owner is not always a fanboy about his car. There are so many videos and incidents on our channel where a owner actually gives better points and appreciate other owners car. In fact owner can better compare more than me because he has drove his car for so many kms, and he knows better about his car

No, now they have a manufacturing plant in chakan pune. So parts are not imported. Hence bit less expensive. But again quality of parts is better than maruti etc
