Another great job Kyle. This little Ford is very impressive. It has features you normally see on more expensive cars. If Ford puts this much thought, quality and engineering into their entire line-up, they have nothing to worry about from their competition.
As a current owner of a mk6 GTI, I have to agree with you. Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but I took one of these on a test drive last weekend and fell in love with it.
My favorite Ford Focus by far! A 2.0L Ecoboost GTDI (Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection) 4-cylinder engine, a 6-speed manual transmission, loaded with all the nice options. I LOVE the Microsoft MyFord touch! Sweet engine and exhaust note! Thanks for the video! :D
Hey man! Major props. Great work on every single video you make. Loking forward to see the video where you show us the new F12 Berlinetta. Again man, hands down to your efforts and to the great job you do.
Me too. Just like Matthew Garcia. But I'm 15. I like your reviews a lot. I know a lot about cars also. My dad is about to get a new car so I watch your reviews to decide what is the best. You're the best. Keep it up. Greetings from Kuwait.
Awesome, thank you for doing the video Kyle b/c it's what I've looked for from your channel. It's the car of my dreams, so thank you very much. :) Instant like and fave.
Absolutely. However, if I'm in the market for a "hot hatch" there is pretty much 3 options - MS3, Focus ST, and WRX STI. The ST is pretty much a balance between the 2. I don't put the Golf R in the same category as it's relatively tame in terms of power.
this is by far my favorite hatchback of all (especially the race red color as it is known as), the 2013 Ford Focus ST. 252 HP 2.0L EcoBoost GTDI i4 engine with variable valve timing, 6-speed manual transmission, fully loaded with all nice options including navigation, Microsoft/MyFord touch, smart key access system with keyless start-up, and Recaro seats!! :D
It only took me about a day and a half to learn. I also live where it's moderately hilly so it was a little more difficult. It mostly depends on your mindset and obviously what you're driving. I learned in a 2011 GTI so my learning experience was a little better than others
Hello Kyle, I am a huge fan of your videos and I must say you sure know your cars man. Keep it up-:) I need to get on a plane and fly to NC from NJ to shake hands and interview you lol.
Manual is quite simple to learn, the only tricky part is learning to drive them in areas with lots of hills. I had to learn on my dad's F-350 extended bed, that beast was not fun to learn on, once I got this it was a cakewalk.
The ST is more fun than the GTI. The handling is magic too. You really have to drive one hard on twisty roads to appreciate it. 0.97 G's on the skidpad. That's near supercar territory. 0-60 can be had in 5.9 to 6.0 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 14.3 to 14.5 with a decent driver. I've noticed that Kyle picks the worst times for many of his videos. It's one of the biggest gripes I have. The fastest times are what the car is capable of. The slow ones just show bad driving.
Nice video and wow what a great car. Ford has been doing really well as far as improving their line up, (Have you seen the new fusion and explorer) On a side note: It's never good to rev a brand new engine, they do suggest a break-in period of 1000 Miles. But I've noticed on all your video's you do let the engine warm up first.. that is sooo much better then revving a new engine cold!
Hey Kyle, I'm really looking forward to an Infiniti Q50 review from you. I hope you can get one when they come out this year, as it's a car I'm very heavily considering purchasing, and I love your reviews.
So many people asking Kyle to do videos....to those people: reviewing cars is NOT his primary job. He does it for fun. Therefore he's not gonna do every car you want him to do. Plus, it depends on wether his local dealerships have those cars in stock. Btw 1:19 you can hear some exotic's exhaust sound in the backround.
Hey Kyle! Ive been following you, love the vids. I own a funeral home here in Farmville, VA. We have two limos, and two hearses, all Cadillac. You're more than welcome to come have a look any time. Blessings to you and your family!
I have a 2012 Focus SE, that looks like the one to the right front of ths car you filmed and I was surprised with how much different the interior was compared to mine. The dash and console is laid out different. The main gauge cluster is a little different. The E-brake and cupholders are also in slightly different spots. I really like my Focus and I think the ST is a cool car as well.
Seen one of these today and was talking to the owner at a red light. these things a little monsters and quick AF! I was in my mustang and he took off on me lol
I have to laugh at people who say this car has too many buttons on the dash, or try to cite other "ergonomic" issues. This car has barely any buttons on the dash, compared to many other cars. The controls are really simple and easy to use. The shifter is in the right spot. I have to think that most people saying that crap haven't driven one.
Does the cargo area fold flat if you take out the headrest, if that's at all possible to do. I just saw this car this morning. What a lovely car. The seats and cockpit area just looks amazing immersive.
Actually, many cars made by ford are sold exclusively overseas, like the popular Mondeo. Prior to the ST, the performance focus was only made in Europe, the "RS" version. If I'm not mistaken, the ST was a joint op between SVT and the European ford division, and is sold internationally. So for all we know they could have used hazards from Europe.
The ST is the sport version. People like to open their cars up and see what they can do. Maybe not you for whatever reason but a lot of people (every now and then) will see what their cars can do, especially if it's the sport version. I'm saying for a turbo'd 4, 6,800 is low.
That's a very similar car to the ST. I just looked at pics of the seats in the V40 R-design. They look nice. Obviously from a different maker, but similar. Both cars share a ton of components. Looks like engine output is very similar to the ST as well.
Hey Kyle, Do you think you could do a review on some Ford Trucks or just any truck... I like the car reviews but I am looking into buying a truck not sure what the best one would be.. I would like a f150 king ranch.. but I don't think you could find one where you are... Thansk and keep up the videos!

wow we appreciate you taking time to make these reviews, looks like it takes lots of time and dedication to keep ur youtube channel running
Kyle i've waited for this one for a long time. Superb as always! :D
Dude your reviews are sick. I actually don't know a more in depth look into so many luxury cars.
I drove this yesterday. I am in love. It is insane!
This car is awesome! I am so buying one as soon as I can! Great tour of the ST, Kyle. Keep up the good work!
Now THIS is a hot hatch! I've been waiting for Kyle to do this review for a while now!
I swear.... every video you make, when you turn on the radio, it's ALWAYS playing the perfect music.
AT LAST!!!!! An ST!!! THANKS a bunch!
That was the best car review I've ever seen. You completely sold me on it too. What an amazing car. I will now just wait for the automatic version.
Who’s gonna break the news to him?
I know somebody who owned a 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX Sti and it's interior build quality was exceptional.
He's really the right man for this job, describes everything perfectly!
i've been waiting for this one for so long!
saabkyle you do an awesome job ! YOU THE BEST
Hey man!
Major props. Great work on every single video you make. Loking forward to see the video where you show us the new F12 Berlinetta.
Again man, hands down to your efforts and to the great job you do.
I bought a 2013 ST w/ST2 package 2 weeks ago. The seats are the best thing since sliced bread.
Those seat are amazing! My WRX has good seat but damn these seats really keep you planted in them
I've been waiting for this video
Me too. Just like Matthew Garcia. But I'm 15. I like your reviews a lot. I know a lot about cars also. My dad is about to get a new car so I watch your reviews to decide what is the best. You're the best. Keep it up. Greetings from Kuwait.
Great review, high definition. Felt like I was there. On topic, seriously thinking of buying this car, this review helped a lot.
I love this channel so much
An early congratulations to you, Kyle for your graduation and other recent accomplishments! Can't wait to see more!
THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!! IVE HAD BEEN WAITING FOR IT SINCE EVER! :)

Just bought mine last week! Love it!
Awesome, thank you for doing the video Kyle b/c it's what I've looked for from your channel. It's the car of my dreams, so thank you very much. :) Instant like and fave.
Thats right. youre about done with pharmacy school. Congrats my friend. lookin forward to the vids as always
This has been my dream car for two years ever since they changed the exterior in 2010

Great video. I built mine and expecting delivery before this weekend.. The suspense is killing me and I can't wait lol...
i added this into a playlist of my dream cars in 2017 and in 2021 i got my hands on a 2013 tuxedo black st :)
It only took me about a day and a half to learn. I also live where it's moderately hilly so it was a little more difficult. It mostly depends on your mindset and obviously what you're driving. I learned in a 2011 GTI so my learning experience was a little better than others

Love your reviews! Keep it up!
This is the first time I've watched a whole SK04 video, and I'm glad I did. Such an awesome car. I love the mix of performance and tech.
Thanks for the review! I guess I'm going to start saving my money!
I would have liked to see you drive it and hear your impressions about that.
Happy Easter Kyle!
Such a nice car, saw one at the Denver Auto Show and sat in it.
Manual is quite simple to learn, the only tricky part is learning to drive them in areas with lots of hills. I had to learn on my dad's F-350 extended bed, that beast was not fun to learn on, once I got this it was a cakewalk.
Hey Kyle, you should do a behind the scenes episode where you show us what goes into making these videos!
The ST is fantastic. Really gave the WRX, GTI and MS3 a run for the money.
Good video Kyle, If I weren't such a GM/chevy head I'd actually consider this car for a new purchase
Thanks Kyle, awesome review.
Also the exhaust is not played through the audio system it is a physical tube piping in engine and exhaust noise.
Kyle would you do that again? Haha nice review man...keep them coming...by the way...congrats for the new house man!
If you had one you wouldnt be watching videos like this but driving that car all day

I test drove the new Volvo V40 T5 R-design recently and those seats are even better, trust me!
Nice video and wow what a great car. Ford has been doing really well as far as improving their line up, (Have you seen the new fusion and explorer)

i love this car now
looks awesome!
I spy an exact copy of a 06-11 Civic E-Brake lever. Love those seats!

YES! Finally!
Hey, Kyle, I just saw this new Lincoln mkz, OMG, this thing is wicked!!!!!!!!!!
Have you driven the new ST? The 2.0 Ecoboost pulls strong from low RPMs and sounds great.
I want this Focus!
Nice leather jacket Kyle... Like A Boss.
I miss these nice alloy wheels and this huge navi screen in my Focus ;-(
I'd take a GTI over it any day. That car has just been dominating the class since it came out and still is.
Saabkyle04 you need to do a review of the second generation scion Tc looking foward to see that video soon :D
I've been waiting for this one forever, I wasn't sure that you would do it. Will you do a Golf R also?
Very nice car. I really like the engine specs.
Seen one of these today and was talking to the owner at a red light. these things a little monsters and quick AF! I was in my mustang and he took off on me lol

Good thing Ford of Europe made the ST, and I'm glad they brought it over here in the states.
Sounds great!

good car, nice review.
And as for quality, IT IS THE BEST!!! Even my brand new Dart has plastic crap breaking off everywhere. But it's cool as hell.
Kyle you should do some more used stuff, I liked watching those vids of yours
We hope you'll step into a new Fusion. Beautiful cars. Would love to see your tour of one.
The ST is the sport version. People like to open their cars up and see what they can do. Maybe not you for whatever reason but a lot of people (every now and then) will see what their cars can do, especially if it's the sport version. I'm saying for a turbo'd 4, 6,800 is low.
the car of my dreams
I don't like the back of this model I prefer the older model. Great video as always Kyle.
The Focus ST is currently my favourite hothatch on the market, but the Golf GTI is a close second.

Super video
what do you think: new s3 vs golf r vs this? which one do you like best..?
please review the c7 corvette and/or the chevy ss those cars are so awesome
@David Dobry the salesman at Audi told me that they do this in-case of theft, which is very rare at dealerships
Why is the e brake like so close to the shifter?
Hey Kyle, Do you think you could do a review on some Ford Trucks or just any truck... I like the car reviews but I am looking into buying a truck not sure what the best one would be.. I would like a f150 king ranch.. but I don't think you could find one where you are... Thansk and keep up the videos!
I agree with you on the GTI, but it's background haha. :)
You should do some reviews on late 60's to early 70's muscle cars.
Just saw one just like this. Nice.
