There actually is a sport mode. Press the Traction Control Button under the 12v outlet next to the gear shifter. Press it once for "Sport Mode", Hold it down for a few seconds to turn Traction Control and Stability Control OFF completely.
A lot of people said that the Focus ST sounds like shit. I love the sound that muffles from the ST and it pairs with the 2.0L 252-horse EcoBoost 4-cylinder (YES 4 CYLINDER) quite perfectly.
Don't get me wrong, the ST is fine af, but Kyle...the Focus RS...so many new technologies, new engines, new features. We the people need a review of that bad boy!

You say no sport mode but if you turn off the traction control button it enables sport mode. If you want to take that a step further just hold down the traction control button for a few seconds and it will turn off electric stability control as well.

Having owned 2 STs, I think the best bang for the buck upgrades for these cars are- 1) Rear motor mount upgrade (at least for 2013-14, not sure if they fixed that issue for 2015). Stock mount was far too soft. 2) Tune. Even a good canned tune for this engine completely changes the throttle response, as well as adding 20+ hp and 50+ lb/ft of torque. I don't have an LSD in mine, so I can't speak to that. I'm sure it's a noticeable improvement.
buildmorefarms100 I haven't had any mechanical issues in the first 30,000 miles. The only issue I ran into was with the touchscreen for the infotainment system on my 2nd ST. The screen went completely black and stopped working. I had to have it replaced.

Those rear seats can fold flat for even more cargo space, have to remove the head rests and then gently lift the passenger seats up, they'll pop forward allowing the back of the seat to lay flat and flush with the trunk

Not every dealership can do it. It has to be a dealership that sells Ford Performance Parts and not all of them do. If you check the Ford Performance website you can see the dealerships near you that can add the options.
Hit the traction control, it will say sport mode just saying and it's the button by the shifter/below the 12v connector.. I could be wrong for that year, it says sport mode on my trip screen for the 2016..

Huge flaw in the RS, heat. At some point the block will warp then leak coolant into the piston,funfun. So I returned and got a 18 st3 so fun. Btw yes that happen to me

The problem with the Focus ST is the Fiesta ST which has proven itself to be very capable and alot more fun for less money. The Focus needs these upgrades if you asks me, most of them should be mandatory lol

+Anakin Skywalker Unfortunately not, I wish there was, I'd really be interested in shooting one. You'll have more practicality in the RSX, but the Miata is just so much fun. I guess it depends on what you want to use it for primarily.
if you get a type s rsx you would probably have more fun in that. but if your only option is a base. I'd go for the miata unless you need the practicality of the hatch

So it can support 87 octane? Ive asked everywhere on the forums and everyone is saying that in the ford manual it requires 93. But people mostly use 91 If 87 octane is ok to run in this car. Would the user see a drop in mpg since they call for 93 Oct??
MrAlternation I've run 87 and 93 same mpg really the only difference is power. That's why Ford recommends 93 that and it keeps your engine cleaner since it's a performance engine
opmike343 I'm referring to the sludge that dirty gas or low quality causes. High quality gas usually has better detergents inside to help keep the fuel injectors clean. Unless there is no sense in what I said please explain to me why premium fuel does not help your engine.
+Ronald Austin I keep trying to warm up to those new Maximas but they just look too weird, especially the headlights. I would get aTaurus SHO or Hemi Charger, or even a V6 Impala. All of them look way better to me.

My 2017 does not have any B pillar keyless entry voodoo. Whats up with that?

Not that they're similar models or anything, but priced at $32k for this trim I think I'd go for a base Mustang GT or Charger RT if I needed a 4 door.

13:13; for the 2016MY, Ford US has changed the equipment naming packages for the Focus ST to something very confusing to numbers and I didn't like it.

You can hit 60 if you wring out 2 gear. You could cut a little bit more off of the 0-60
