Jonathan Doe My Mom has the same car and I’ve gotten used to liking it as well. The only 2 things that I don’t like about it is that it’s bigger than what it’s supposed to be and the MyFord Touch System. Other than that, I like the styling of the vehicle and I like the interior.
I like the MKT too & yes different than the cookie cutter, the body style is nice as unique. Took me years for this to grow on me which I like this more & more.
It is simple about like my 2006 Lincoln Town Car even after seeing what the new smaller SUVs Lincoln will be coming out with. I like the wheels better than the other Lincoln models even though are still nice but this is something I'm eventually considering buying.
Cadillacs are just rebadged chevys and the Escalades/Yukons are both look pretty much the same. Cadillac outsold lincoln because in name and because of reputation when Cadillac designed it's own engines, interior overall style. So people buy them. Ford finally made Lincoln a luxury since the town car and/or continental line instead of feeling like you drove a simple Ford
Had one of these as a rental once, and was EXTREMELY impressed with it! Styling is a bit different, but to my eye in a really good way To me the rear styling is the best part, very very unique and quite impressive Not the biggest fan of the touch sensitive HVAC and volume controls in the center stack, but they sure do look nice. I prefer the actual buttons of the pre-refresh. (Easier to use while driving, and I like real buttons for heating/cooled seats and steering wheel rather than going into touchscreen menu to get to them) The armrests on the doors always looked odd to me, but are actually really nice in use Was suuuuuuper nice on the highway, and was one of the quietest vehicles I’ve ever driven But the power, hehe that was fun 😉 and I think the MKTs party piece. I think what made it even better is that this doesn’t in any way look as fast as it really is. Has to be one of the best sleepers out there. And being that not a lot were sold, make these stand out to the few that notices them. Honestly, if I were in the market for a 3 row SUV crossover this is hard to beat! Was one of the few rentals I was actually sad to give back! Lol
Andrew wasn't the only person he helped his videos were always what I turned to during my depression after I lost my grandmother Kyle your a good man keep up the good work
I’ve had a MKT since 2014! One of the best cars I’ve ever had! Powerful, all wheel drive . Big wheels very impressive for clients ! It’s too bad they quit making them in 2019! I have about 82000 miles on mine ! Will look for low mileage 2019 next year! Not every bodies ideal car! But we both love it ! Wife’s a realtor and great for taking customers around! Like a limo, lots of room !
Kyle, I'm a car obsessed fan and can review cars for hours upon hours a day. I subscribe and watch reviews from Motorweek, Motor Trend, TFL, Auto Byte, Autotrader, Cars.com, Car and Driver, etc, etc. . . but in my opinion your reviews are what I look to and look forward to. Keep up the great work, I've been watching you progress for years. I love your in-depth, knowledgeable reviews!
I am on my second MKT: Currently driving a 2013 model year AWD with the 3.5 liter Eco-Boost Engine....have put over 40,000 miles on it in the past 18 months......averaging 20.5 mpg, get over 26 mpg on the highway....miles have been uneventful, and this automobile is a charm to drive. When the lease is up, I may go for a third....love the styling inside and out, and find the interior details to be second to none. Lincoln is back with this model.
Nah, i have a 2014, the driving experience is bland and the interior is falling apart my power lift-gate has stopped working 2 times, never again, consistently develops new squeeeks and rattles often
Mark Langenhan Sadly, my experience with a 2010 was not good. Failed A.C., slipping tranny and a liftgate that accumulated rain water, draining only when opened.
I have a fully loaded 2013 MKT AWD with ECO BOOST and the thing F-L-I-E-S! Absolute screamer with room for seven plus some luggage is you're so inclined. Complete open glass pano, killer sound and all the tech I need. Picked mine up w 6k dealer manager miles, titled to me as first owner. 100K mile warranty w -0- deductible. They replace the wiper blades when I take it in for service and I leave with a free current model loaner! Doors open and lock with the swipe of my hand, remote start and windows/roof open/close remotely. Dark Quartz (Gray/Blue) color with chrome 20's. Mine rides on Michelins and handles like a sports car but with AC seats up front! Do not kid yourself! This is a fully loaded, F-U-N car to drive. Tune the suspension to sport and let 'er rip! I've had Trans Ams, Grand Prix SJs, Cadillac Concourse, Toronado's and Trofeo's and this is H-O-T! Also have a Lincoln MKS AWD, white-on-white on factory chrome 20's that still turns heads everywhere I go. 33,000 miles on it and it's 6 freakin years old! Pd 20k for it! Anybody know what $20k will get you these days?? Open your minds a little. It's 2016! Ride in something nice. Make mine a Lincoln, baby!
Bought a 2014 MKT that is virtually identical to this one. Absolutely love the style and features! It's a kick to drive as the Ecoboost makes it very responsive for such a large vehicle. Previously have owned 2006 LS and 2009 MKS models before I purchased this MKT. Lincoln in my estimation is making great headway in reviving the prestige of the past.
Not many of these around, but they were stylish, totally refined, maybe better than other luxury brands. Much nicer than anything from Cadillac & they were considered very reliable. These will end up being collector items.
I love how saabkyle points out the details that shows how this Lincoln not just a rebadged Ford Flex. It truly is on a whole different level of luxury.
The 2013 facelifted version MKT is still great looking, I prefer it before the restyle though. Honestly one of the single best looking SUV's on the market right now. Gorgeous lines.
I thought you did a thorough and excellent job. I especially like the synopsis stating the heritage and motive of the styling not so many people know that background. Thank you for all that you do for every vehicle and keeping it real. God Bless you man!
kyle, dont listen to this guy, every single one of your videos are the best, your my favorite youtuber n always will be. we love you, dont listen to the haters
I agree Kyle, dont listen to them. I've been watching your videos since you first started and you do the hazards every time. You forgot it ONE time. It's not a big deal at all. Also you show different engine clips sometimes too. To all of you haters out there just stop. It didn't take anything away from this video at all. All i want is a great car review video every couple of days to watch, and you totally accomplish that Kyle. Thanks for all of your time and effort. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for solving the mystery of the S setting and switches behind the steering wheel for me! I just got a 2011 MKT, still discovering new things about it every day
Yes, because that's why he has done Honda Accords and the like. He doesn't just do premium cars, he does everything. He's even said his goal was to provide an unbiased, informative view on every car he exhibits. So, he shows cars from across each companies' line-up, not just the top end.
I really like the design, the leather cabin finish of this car the viewing angle, technical features . Actually, every thing in it. Thanks for the designers / Lincoln
He's not a hater. He even made clear he watches Kyle's videos and pays attention to them. And listening to people with a different opinion than "ooooh" and "aaaaah" and "amazing kyle, please call me kyle xxx" is actually not a bad idea. You can learn from it.
hey kyle please dont listen to these guys, its just waste of time. They cant even imagine how much effort it takes to take such videos, you have done a great job it dosent matter if you have forgotten hazards it was a great video
Can't believe everyone saying its ugly! Your opinion but I like it, makes the Navigator and Escalade look old and dated! Love that low sleek look and cudos to Lincoln for trying something different .Style wise this is 2013 and it time to move foreword , the same people who don't like the new Corvette,I guess..
Nice job as always Kyle, even if there is criticism (thats TH-cam for ya) from the comments..doing a great service man..keep it going! NIce car..love the inside features..lots of tech and looks comfortable. Also is impressive is that for a car of this bulk its pretty quick given that its not built for performance..not everyone is after a 500hp SUV. nice fuel eff. too.. yeah I agree, its not as handsome as others in its class but I would take it..
+Gobbersmack The older Lincoln Town Car and Continental would be much much much better and way more comfortable. Easier to work on and obtaining parts for.
Yes! Overwhelmingly yes! They ride like a cloud on the highway, are more quiet than you will expect, and the power on tap is great fun for passing (under the speed limit of course 😉 lol) Very very comfortable as well, and more room than you expect, well not in third row, but 1st and 2nd are like first class airline seats to me
Definitely not my kind of car but always a BIG thumbs up for Saabkyle04!!! Congrats on the new home and hopefully you can review 2013 Range Rover when it becomes available. Keep up the great work Buddy!
About the only new Lincoln I do like. Still can't understand why Lincoln calls this the new TownCar that's an insult to towncars everywhere. But I must truly say I would buy one of these.
I don't understand the hate for this car. It's not supposed to be sporty or powerful. It's a cruiser and I happen to think it's a pretty classy car. I really have high hopes for Lincoln, they have the potential to make some damn good cars.
You're thinking of the MKX. MKT was introduced in 2010. Not much has changed for 13 other than a few minor cosmetic differences like the grille and some interior details.
bought a suburban for 50k not too long ago, partially regret it now. this thing seats more comfortably and is more luxurious. i say "partially" because it's not a truck, i don't like crossovers in general because they are like a hybrid between car and truck, though they don't do either very well, they just imitate. can't take this thing offroad like i do in the subby. the navigator doesn't even come close to the comfort of this thing in my opinion
Kyle, man we love u, ur the best, i'v seen the most video of u, if i wanna know a thing about a car, i see ur video, ur the best, and u have the best job ever ever ever, don't listen to haters, cause u have so so many funs, and i'm un too, and haters are a part of ur succes
Why don't you watch the video. Kyle clearly says this vehicle gets 16 mpg city and 23 mpg highway. Which is pretty good considering the size of this vehicle. ...and what era do you think this is? Saabkyle04: you are the best, iv'e been watching your videos in now 3-4 years, i have folowed you right from the beginning. I think it's some gret videos, keep it up!!! Ps. Make some cold start videos like the old times, or dealership start ups:-)
Wow, and here I was thinking my Town Car was a heavyweight. :O 4900 pounds? I'd love to wreck that into an Accent. But not really. I'm not 100% fond of some of the new Lincolns, but the one that really speaks to me is the MKS. That is a truly badass-looking car.

I don't know why people are hating on this vehicle. It looks awesome and original, it's powerful, and it is obviously a luxury vehicle. I want one.
I agree.
I know the styling isn't everybody's cup of tea, but it's unique and I absolutely love it.
Jonathan Doe hzudu
I love it too.

I like the MKT too & yes different than the cookie cutter, the body style is nice as unique. Took me years for this to grow on me which I like this more & more.
I like how the interior is clean, simple and organized yet luxurious. Very rare for an American car.
+Bruce Valladares Very true!

Steve Nikazy the lift gate problem is a design flaw. The rest never happened to my mkt from the same year
this is the car with the best accessories and trunk I've ever seen in my life

How is the 3rd row seat? Does it split in half if you want fold down just one half?? Or is it one bench seat in 3rd row?
i find your videos so therapeutic, its like watching bob ross paint.
I just bought one of these and it’s a 2013 with under 100k on the dash and I simply love it…The damn thing is so luxury inside and rides beautiful
Me too - I bought it from my dad and I absolutely love it!!!!
Your the only person that did a GOOD review on the Lincoln MKT
Not many of these around, but they were stylish, totally refined, maybe better than other luxury brands. Much nicer than anything from Cadillac & they were considered very reliable. These will end up being collector items.
I am speechless when it comes to this car. Its heinous! Great tour as always Kyle

I would buy one of these in a heartbeat. They are pretty quick too with the Ecoboost engine.
Although the exterior can use some work, they nailed it with the interior!
Now a car big enough for grandma and all her friends to enjoy.
Scary thought to have an old person driving this car
one of few cars that have 2nd row cooled seats in a suv
So many negative comments from 20 year olds working minimum wage jobs and driving a 1992 corolla.
it's a pelican car.
Jeff B Eherm it's the truth that Lincoln looks like complete ass
Gav Com hahaha obviously sophistication means nothing to you. go back to your trailer
for your info, we own 3 mercs, probably better than your shitty ass mkt. why do you think people call the MKT the ugliest fucking car in the world
Jeff B in
Hey buddy, i'm from brazil and i love all your videos, this is the best videos of cars of the internet, tks !!! (and sorry for my bad english)
I assembled that overhead console! Detroit baby!
your videos are the most calming I swear..
I didn't like the styling when it first came out but now I think its quite handsome.
This car’s really grown on me… Loveeee the interior.
I love your channel. I must have watched nearly every video you have uploaded. Keep these great videos coming. Great work
That front looks weird. Beautiful overall design! Lincoln is improving its design!!
I really like the design, the leather cabin finish of this car the viewing angle, technical features . Actually, every thing in it.
Thanks for the designers / Lincoln

If only Kyle reviewed the 2013 Lincoln MKZ, that car is a total beauty inside and out
Best car reviewer on youtube. continue making these awesome videos man!
People who drive this have style and class. People who like uniqueness, not a GD cookie cutter. I'm 22 and this suites me well.
hey kyle please dont listen to these guys, its just waste of time. They cant even imagine how much effort it takes to take such videos, you have done a great job it dosent matter if you have forgotten hazards it was a great video
This car represents class.
Kyle, could you please review the 2015 MKC?
You should do the Lincoln Zephyr
Glad you're uploading videos more frequently. I hope you do upload the Fusion next. :)
I also own a Lincoln and feature on my channel. It’s great to see one of these classics still on the road. Thanks for sharing yours.
Such an amazing car, I am really impressed. Excellent review too :)
Can't believe everyone saying its ugly! Your opinion but I like it, makes the Navigator and Escalade look old and dated! love that car.all sorts of goodies to play with.fully loaded to the max.

Just ignore him. you're doing a great job as usual!
Interior is beautiful, exterior is a different story. Maybe in real life it looks good. And once again thanks Saabkyle.
Perfect roadtrip car?
+Gobbersmack Why not? Seats 7.
+Gobbersmack The older Lincoln Town Car and Continental would be much much much better and way more comfortable. Easier to work on and obtaining parts for.
Yeah done 4 in my 2010 so far
Yes! Overwhelmingly yes! They ride like a cloud on the highway, are more quiet than you will expect, and the power on tap is great fun for passing (under the speed limit of course 😉 lol)
Very very comfortable as well, and more room than you expect, well not in third row, but 1st and 2nd are like first class airline seats to me
Definitely not my kind of car but always a BIG thumbs up for Saabkyle04!!! Congrats on the new home and hopefully you can review 2013 Range Rover when it becomes available. Keep up the great work Buddy!
I'm very proud of Ford and will always follow them over GM
About the only new Lincoln I do like. Still can't understand why Lincoln calls this the new TownCar that's an insult to towncars everywhere. But I must truly say I would buy one of these.
that rear seat configuration is beautiful
I really like having this car.
the option on the third row seat are awesome haha
Bought my 2016 Flex here. Definitely want an MKT
ok now the back seat configurations are really badass!
I really hope you do a 2017 review. Your reviews answer the questions I have give a good in-depth look.
And happy belated videoversary, @Saabkyle04
I don't understand the hate for this car. It's not supposed to be sporty or powerful. It's a cruiser and I happen to think it's a pretty classy car. I really have high hopes for Lincoln, they have the potential to make some damn good cars.
I'd love to have as much access as Kyle does to these. I'd love to do what he does
Nice car! You're the best Kyle!!!
the best channel of TH-cam...saabklye04
You're thinking of the MKX. MKT was introduced in 2010. Not much has changed for 13 other than a few minor cosmetic differences like the grille and some interior details.
Chime sounds so beautiful.
Great review...always liked the MKT when I saw one on the road, now I'm really loving it. Didn't know it had all those awesome features!
People who are most likely posting negative comments, probably can't afford it.
no.
Yeah
pelican car
Nobody wants a Lincoln POS I mean MKT.
bought a suburban for 50k not too long ago, partially regret it now. this thing seats more comfortably and is more luxurious. i say "partially" because it's not a truck, i don't like crossovers in general because they are like a hybrid between car and truck, though they don't do either very well, they just imitate. can't take this thing offroad like i do in the subby. the navigator doesn't even come close to the comfort of this thing in my opinion
You know I love SUV's like this.I like big cars
Kyle, man we love u, ur the best, i'v seen the most video of u, if i wanna know a thing about a car, i see ur video, ur the best, and u have the best job ever ever ever, don't listen to haters, cause u have so so many funs, and i'm un too, and haters are a part of ur succes
Good car + good review = awesome video!, thanks Kelly, wish you all best of luck.
@bmwmsport11 it does other things. Unlocks the door, starts the car, sets off the alarm, customizable options when you walk up to the car. Etc.
once i was on a video streak on youtube and then i saw one of kyle's review and then onwards i had no life
thumbs up if same happened to you too.
yoo kyle u have the best videos n u r the best in this thing dude keep it up n wish u a good luck and keep it up
Why don't you watch the video. Kyle clearly says this vehicle gets 16 mpg city and 23 mpg highway. Which is pretty good considering the size of this vehicle. ...and what era do you think this is? I can't think of any car in the US that gets only 6-10 mpg anymore. Even the viper and Zr1 get around 20-25 mpg on the highway. Which is equal or better than most European sports cars.
We love your VIDEOS Kyle!
so true, i like escaldes tho, but navigators are just getting old, but this is a descent vehicle and wouldn't mind owning one myself!!
Very impressive features! The only thing I don't like, is how the rear end looks.
lol! You may be right about the Aztek. I don't know what Pontiac was thinking when they designed that thing.
Wait wait wait. I didn't say it was bad in any way. I know how much effort you put into these videos, I really know, I'm a (very) long time subscriber. Those rear seat controls in the trunk are awesome! A tailgate mode? Great thinking by Ford.
I have a cousin that works for Ford in Detroit and he has told me around the assembly plant they call this the Lincoln Hearse
Sick Ride and good review Kyle
The tailgate feature is cool! That's about it..
16 city and 23 hwy for V6 ecoboost? mind as well drop a 5.0 V8 which does the same mpg
