During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

Should've made a 3 door for the US.
I agree, I think it looks better
It would have been a nice addition to the line-up I agree, but personally I don't mind the versatility of a 4-door. Not to mention, any coupe-owner in the US gets totally raped by the insurance because apparently "having 2 doors makes you a worse driver". Totally bogus.
Honestly, just my 2 cents, I like the 5 door better. It looks too small to me when it's a 3 door. I wish I could post a picture of mine haha.
i agree OR Ford could have created the rear doors like on the BMW i3 or the Hyundai Veloster so the image is of a 3 door hatchback but the back doors are just concealed
That'd also be cool!
Just bought a Fiesta ST in the same colour but with the Recaro seats! Love it soooo much!
I saw 4 of these today.
It's one of my favourite cars! I love them!
Best video to start my day! I ordered one of these a few months ago and am taking delivery on August 17th. Thanks for the video!
ive owned an st for better part of 9 months now, and is maybe the most satisfying car ive owned. this is coming from a guy with a 600+ whp mustang as well. the mustang was fast, but the fiesta is just... complete. it turns well. stops well. the interior is nice. gets good mileage, looks good, and is cheap. literally hits every single point except for "fast". but a simple turbo and intercooler swap, paired with a tune will fix that. amazing vehicle, and i highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in a performance car that wont get you thrown in jail.
I feel I've seen all of the fiesta st reviews and this is great!
Keep up the good work.
Just bought me one today for 18500 same color paint job I love it it's a fast peppy car
That Ford chime drives me up the fucking wall
Finally!! Back to your regular videos.
Wish the had the 5 door in the UK they should have both available in both countries
Michael Demarco it is available?
@@kabuterrimondw5919 Unfortunately not
My best friend has one of these...he let me drive it...now I have to get one.
Haha, I know the feeling man!
Kain Bastien 1125000’jhgfd
Did you end up getting one? Ik it’s late but if ur looking for an ST I recommend the Ford Focus over the fiesta
I should be picking mine up tomorrow. I can’t wait!
If this had an exhaust system like the Abarth, it would be perfect! What a great car!
Hey Kyle.
Hope you had an awesome time running the Gumball!
It would be really cool to see more Audi RS models, as i've noticed you're lacking quite a few. And whenever you get the chance, you should review the new Mercedes S-Class Coupé. That car is just stunning!
Kyle, you are an expert in this. THanks for the review. Quite impressive.
Its a little rocket love this car!!!
I've been using regular gas and it runs pretty well 😧
I thought the "Look at me and let's go fast" part was unintentionally funny. :) Or I was just trying to find little bits of humor in an otherwise awesomely professional made video. :) Cheers!
What a beauty. Considering trading my wrx for either this or the focus st
I think this is better than the Focus. My opinion.
Don't....I guarantee you'll miss the AWD.
Why not get a F-250 diesel?
+HD5830Gamer not everyone needs to compensate. who wants a stupid diesel?
@@BowmanOverland I got one after having two wrxs and I don't miss them
Nice review! The 19 mm front anti-roll bar on the Fiesta ST is smaller than the 22 mm front anti-roll bar on the base Fiesta. Also the spare tire in the Fiesta ST is full size.
Outstanding review...well researched, detailed, and thorough.
any fiesta version is a great car for its price, can't beat the fun you have driving one for its price.
At 3.03 - 3.07 it is interesting to see the engine rock back and forth on the motor mounts. More reason to get a better rear motor mount. It is why the braid on my Gti downpipe came apart within a year after installing it. Therefore, this should be a very first mod... IMO.
3:03-3:07
This is a MUST-GO-TO for any conscious car buyer, really great info. It's like he works for the damn dealership 0.o
Cool little car, I have the 2007 Ford Focus Station wagon.
My focus is great in snow and gets 36 mpg on the highway.
This new car sounds great!
Saabkyle really good cant wait for the focus st 2014!
Hey Man, you should buy a glider for your camera, for smooth panning. Great videos by the way! :)
I'm going to one day :)
Wow! That's good news! One happy subsriber here. 😊

Could you do a 2015 Honda Fit and a 2015 Chrysler 200? Thanks Kyle!
Brilliant video. Thanks for that 😛
thank you for this saabkle04! :D
I recognized that Parkway sign as soon as I saw it! I live in Winston! 336 fo' lyfe~~
whats the name of that song "05 Twilight_Full"? and where i can find it?
awsome review and cam
whats the cost of the tires? i have a fealing that they will need constant replacing.
I can get 4 good tyres for under £400. The car is pretty light so it doesn't eat through tyres that quickly, no where near as quick as the Focus ST.
Very good review can't wait to buy one! Thanks for the review!
Oh man thanks for doing this review kyle! I've been wanting to check this car out since I'm about to purchase my first car. If you don't mind, can you also do one on the new Mazda 3? I'm having a difficult time deciding between the two and your review would help out a lot. Thanks for the uploads. I'll keep on watching!
I'll try my best!
***** thanks kyle. Even if it doesn't happen, I appreciate it. :)
uhh, there's a review on everyday driver about these 2 cars
and the Mazda competes with the Focus ST
+ platefork thanks. I've actually watched it. I'm aware the cars aren't in the same class. But performance aside, I wanna know about the details of the cars and kyle does a really good job at it.
Nice one, Kyle!! Would you do a new Mazda 3 review? I'm sooooo looking forward to one! Keep up the good work!
My brother has that car in the same colour.
Great video as always!
Hey kyle! Have you gotten your hands on the new wrx yet? I would love to see your take on it.
They need a Fusion ST!!
I just love the fiesta! nice review. thnks!
sorry, but what is the name of that song @ 13:48?
Austin Childs it literally shows up on the screen
Thanks for the review! Also, any possibility that you would review the 2015 Chrysler 200 sometime in the future?
Hi, tittle and composer of the sound 13:48? thanks
Raymond Maes see the infotainment screen
nice review, can you do a review of 2014 Ford Explorer Sport. Thanks :)
Please make a review for 2014 Lexus gx 460
Thanks Kyle I really love that car it's my second choice of car
I would still like to see a review from you of the 2009 Mazdaspeed 3
is it only me or is that music is everywhere in his videos SAABKYLE EXPLIAN THIS THIS TO ME!!!!!!
Do a review on the 2014 infiniti q50
Hey kyle. Can you do a review of the 2015 mustang? There are some review videos already, but they are not as informative and pleasant as yours. Keep up the good work
Mine will come as they hit showrooms, thanks! :)
This is the only ford model I actually like
Whats the legroom like in these things? I want one, but I am 6ft.
Was the MyFord Touch as bad as people say it is? Based on this video, I don't think the claims are true.
Most of the complaints were from when it first came out. It's a pretty good system overall once you get used to it
Yeah, the software updates made the system better
I've had a Focus ST for about a year now and I have no real complaints with the system. It's worked as well as I could ask of it.
Yeah, I would think so too! Only the earlier systems on the Focus when it first came out had some problems
my ford touch is GREAT!
What's the song called at 13:49
Kulraj Cheema its on the screeennnnn
Please review 2014 Shelby GT500 Super Snake
hey saabkyle my man! make a video about 2015 subaru wrx sti!! please!!
How was the gumball 3000 and how was europe
Saabkyle how much room does the drivers seat have for tall people? I am 6'2
My dad just got this car (not the st he got the se) and its not bad inside. I'm 6'1 he's 6'3 and we fit fine. It's a small car so your not gonna get a ton of room but it's fine for what it is.
One thing though. If you put a family of four adults in it you do feel cramped so keep that in mind
Sabbkyle can you review a 2015 dodge charger
Hey Kyle I like the great work your doing can u do a infiniti q50s sport plz and thanks Kyle😃
Thanks for uploading

This a small and relatively new market/segment in the USA. So far the Mini Cooper s dominates the market. A lot of companies will sell an "sport" economy car in the USA such as the Honda Civic Si, Chevrolet Cobalt SS, or the Ford Focus SVT and ST. They will sell like hot cakes at first and then sales stop and they are soon forgotten due to the fact that they usually cost a lot and are not true sports cars. Example it is hard to justify purchasing a Ford Focus St when the mustang's msrp is $1000 less. We have not seen cars this small in the USA in several years and the "sport hatch" segment is too new to determine how well it will do. I am going to assume it will turn out like its big brothers such as the Focus SVT, the Dodge Neon SRT4, the Chevy Cobalt SVT, and the Mazda 3 Speed as being decent sellers at first then become cars nobody buys and companies discontinue. They sound like fun, but if I am going to buy a fuel saver ultra compact car I will stick to the base car or a motorcycle. It I want something that is small and handles well I will get a mazda miata or a motorcycle (none of these cars have storage that is much better than a motorcycle anyways).
Could you do volkswagen polo gti.. Or maybe the new bmw x3 because i really like those cars and your reviews are so good!
wait since the big grilled version of the fiesta came out 3 door and 5 door was offered in the uk
ST is not available in 5 door config. Every other trim is. Also doesn't come with the newer versions of SYNC in the UK.
Why do the revs take so long to come back down? before you can rev it again? Is that the fly wheel being too big and heavy? 2:28
It seem's to rev up to around 5k in around 1 second.. then 6 seconds for the revs to drop back down again.. you could make a cup of tea whilst your waiting. Revs should go straight up and straight back down at a similar rate.
Love the car but will be looking into this to see if its something that can be sorted.
It's two things: a dual mass flywheel (which is fairly heavy) and the shift-assist logic which has significant rev-hang. You can fix both of these things, first by a single-mass lightweight flywheel (available from a couple of different manufacturers for this car) and an ECU reflash. My car has much sharper rev response, even though I still have the OEM flywheel.
Really they just did it to make it easy for most people to drive.
Kay Inoue I hear you, but if your buying an ST you would expect it to be for people that like it to be more throttle responsive.
It's not awful when you're driving. I agree it'd be a lot better with a lighter flywheel. When I eventually replace the stock clutch on mine, it'll likely a lightweight flywheel to go with.
Anyone have any insight on how the recaros are long term? Like do you get tired of them after you daily drive it for a while?
If you're fat, very uncomfortable. If not then very uncomfortable... But they look nice
Looks good
One surprise is the power output - the Hyundai Veloster Turbo is also 1.6L, turbocharged...but only uses regular gas...and makes around the same power (actually slightly more - 201hp - and without an overboost function.) I love these cars, but I'm surprised that Ford didn't squeeze a little more power from the engine. Maybe they didn't want it to compete for sales with the Focus ST - thoughts, anyone?
they could have easily developed a new engine for the fiesta line and subsequently brought a quicker st.. I'm thinking a 1.8L dohc i4 turbo with Ecoboost , probably would've ended up with numbers more like 210-215 HP and a similar jump in tq , which would have made it quickest in class
Joshuabrutl Could, but didn't. And even using the same size engine (1.6 turbo), I would have expected the ST to have at least a little more power than a Hyundai. I'm sure they have their reasons, but I'm buggered if I can work out what they may be. :-P
I think they kept the power down a little to not interfere with th focus st. They have about the same 0-60 and quarter mile times to if they gave it to much it might out preform the focus. Kinda like how porsche does with the cayman.
Luke Thompson Makes sense, I guess - they wouldn't want their cheaper Fiesta to steal sales from the Focus. But I'm still surprised that they didn't get just a little more - being beaten by a Hyundai (and on regular gas, instead of premium like the Fiesta) in the hp war isn't good for Ford's morale. You'd think that squeezing just a little more - maybe 205-210 - wouldn't really damage the Focus ST sales, since I believe it comes with around 250-ish. And it would look good to post those numbers in their shiny brochures. :-P
Well I think the focus st is there competitor for the Hyundai. I myself own a Focus ST and my friend has a fiesta ST and his fiesta ST is quite a bit smaller and to be fair can keep up with my focus.
***** I have to say that out of all those who do car reviews, I appreciate yours the most! You are very thorough and it seems like an easier "shopping experience" would be had through your reviews. Very well done! I do want to ask you, however, I am looking to by a new car.. yes, new; I love the Abarth models and all that they feature as this vehicle would only be used for two people, but what would you recommend more as the "everyday driver"?
if the titanium focus has this engine, I ll be so glad.
It doesn't. Just the ST.
You can only get the 1.6 liter Ecoboost engine in the European Focus, don't quote me on that though, I may be wrong.
Not going to happen unless you live in Europe.
Yea you can get the same 1.6 ecoboost in a focus (in Europe at least). But you don't get anything like the same performance or economy it's gives in the Fiesta, because the focus is significantly heavier.
When will s600 w222? Name at least approximate date! There are no forces already to suffer! Please answer!
No date, haven't even seen one yet to film.
***** What a pity ! But,I understand that the review will be when the car will appear in the cabin?
Анатолий Герман если так говорите то не поймёте зачем жду этого теста
The steering wheel looks like yoshi’s face 😂😂
Why don't us UK customers get the touch screen on the fiesta we only have it on the focus.
Same thing in Germany...
First time us Americans get a better option on a car than you Europeans, lol.
Wish the UK got the 5 door
Do you have a video of the bmw 7 series?
Yes,he have videos of many generations of the 7 series just search them.
Looks like it shifts good
It actually sounds pretty good for a stock car, but of course it could be better.
How reliable are ST's and Fords in general compared to say Toyota?
Native722 Very
Ford is one of the most reliable brands
Native722 Fords are quite reliable but not as reliable as the Toyotas
Never seen a 5-door Fiesta ST before. Only ones I see are 3-door (obviously) and come in this amazing dark blue coat that makes the car look like a stunner. This reddish-orange does not do it justice at all!
this has to be one of the smallest performance hatchbacks in the US? How big is the market for these cars in the US?
Damn I want that color though
Do a C-Max
$21,400. Wow. I bought my first brand new car in 2005. A 2006 Acura RSX for MSRP $20,090. Yep. An Acura.
Should have gone for a Honda Integra Type-R instead.
Lucas Vander Bartlett Um... I live in the US. The RSX is the Integra.
And the Fiesta ST will walk all over that RSX, unless it was a Type-S.
When I went to the Kia dealership they wanted $23k for a 2014 Kia Rio5 for the mid trim level. lol I laughed all the way out the door.
*Honda badged as an Acura
thnx Kyle been waiting for a long time for you to do this ST, Thnx your the best. I love the idea behind this car but still missing a lot in "my opinion"***. I hate the NAV and dash on this car. pretty sure the guy i talked to said you can get the nav removed. Don't like the Recaro seats to tight and ugly prefer the cloth but want leather obv can switch out seats. Would love 3 door but oh well. the exhaust port really bothers me too wish it was centered or dual exhaust. For a affordable drivers car its amazing i think best in class. Mini is better looking and has more to offer but way under powered and expensive in my opinion. If ford came out with RS version with awd hands down buy it. even though that would probably be in the class of Golf GTI, WRX, CLA and so on. still think best bang for buck would have to be FRS/GT86/BRZ 2014/2015* but still not everyone wants to drift me being one rather have grip and turbo. I think Car companies need to get into these markets. Light weight affordable drivers cars. Obv the 1.6t 1.8t 2.0t have been a good recipe but would love to see more 5 cyl and inline 6's. again just my opinion. thnx again Kyle
Wow smoke Storm
2:11
Please the new Golf Gti !!!
When they put HID and DRL's on it, one will be sitting in my garage.
Well in that case come over to Europe, we have those already.
Fiesta
Sounds kinda good for a 3 cylinder
It's a 4.
yea ford had to lie about there MPG numbers because they could not match the competition, bolstering there mpg by 5 - 7 miles got caught.
Ford had been losing their way lately.
I drove the focus st that car had so much torque steer it almost made steer out of the road into a pole lol also ford lies about their 30+ mpg claim. I was getting 20-22mpg driving city and highway mix and that's conservative driving. Also at 35000$ Canadian it's almost as much as a sti
What year Focus have you driven? My 2014 has as little torque steer as any other FWD car with that much horsepower, try driving a GTI.
It was a 2014! This is coming from someone who had a 2010 civic si which had almost non of that. And now I have a g35 coupe. So Maybe getting back into a fwd car again made me feel the torque steer a bit more. Although it had a really decent ride quality, and it takes regular gas so that's a plus.
nice
I'm in Iceland, we have both versions...
+Milan Ilievski I'm jealous. I'd love the 4 door version for UK!
In Europe is almost impossible to find a 4 door st!!
:-( I rather have a 5 door, for those times you really need it :-P
Alex J
Its hot hatch extra 2 doors its extra weight and it looks cooler with 3 doors!!!BTW the 5 door isnt ugly!!
penadela
You are right. I mean for the most time I drive alone. But when I drive someone its usually just one passenger. But there are times when I already have a passenger and another one or two wants a ride. And those times its easier to let them have their own door do help themselves in/out my car instead of getting in and out myself just so they can have a ride :-P
Other than that. Yes 3 doors does look cooler and saves weight :-)
ford the extra 3 grand why not get the focus st?
***** But....it's a pussy of a car
I don't like the steering wheel, the middle looks too long. I prefer the steering wheel in the Focus.
The audio sounds kind of out of phase or something like a mic is covered
The onsite audio that is, not the voiceover
