Great video except you didn't explain what you were doing. You just kept saying, Im going to connect this hose here. I'm going to attach this fitting here, etc.etc. You didn't go in depth telling what was what and lost me. I was going to try do do mine myself, but couldnt keep up with what you were hooking up. You didnt explain what was what until you said - this is the starboard line here. Good job though, you obviously knew ahead of time where everything was going.
It's something that I've been doing all the time in my channel and basically I'd like to keep my privacy, my private life And my TH-cam channel separate
I dont get something, Im going to install my Reactor 40 with a Smart Pump... shouldn't be much different regarding the hydraulic hookups... I thought that since I have 2 Seastar hoses coming from the stern to the back of the helm, (I currently have no auto pilot)... if I understand the diagram from Garmin, the port and stern lines coming from the steering ram both have T fittings (as well as shut off valves, buts that's another story); your hookup looks like you used only one T , and hooked one side into the pump... Im confused... I will watch your videos again, but am I missing something ? Look at pg 5 of this Garmin installation manual. static.garmin.com/pumac/SmartPump_Installation_Instructions_v2_EN-US.pdf
So wheres the 2nd T ? ...Still dont understand, the diagram from Garmin shows that the lines coming each from Port and Starboard from cylinder need to have a T to split them to helm, and to the pump, why does that work on yours ? Look at the diagram I attached the link in my comment above. Btw, great job on your videos, thanks.

" The hydraulic pipe fitted connections "
Go to a hydraulic supplier with your pump so they can quide you cap
@@OutOnTheReef There is no option to buy the pipes and the fitted connections for the shadow drive in Amazon ?
@@OutOnTheReef I want to buy exactly 1.2 l garmin pump like what you have....
@@alen2486 yes look at the description below cap. I added the t fittings and things you need to Install it cap check it out
@@alen2486 i have it linked in the description below cap.
My apologies cap. And this installation has part 1 and part 2 hopefully it helps
Great videos but why you are covering your face !
It's something that I've been doing all the time in my channel and basically I'd like to keep my privacy, my private life And my TH-cam channel separate
Pathetic!. Not a mention of the pump wiring. Integral part of the system
@@DanFreark-ou2ciwe apologize

Yes is confusing because i had a previous pump on my boat so i just needed a T Fitting, hope my video helps cap👍⚓️
I see !! the T is directly on the back of the helm on the starboard side !! My bad.
@@zumba5012 im glad you found it cap.👍⚓️🛥
