Love your content, thanks for sharing… I aspire to have my wires as neat as yours,I plan on installing this on my boat but not sure I’m capable of this … my patience’s would be shot & id lose my place in the middle of waiting on parts,I’d hire you in a heart beat to work on my boat !
I have a Seastar H50 Hynautic helm with 5/16" hoses. Upper and Lower helm. What fittings are needed to connect to the Smartpump V2. Liked watching the install. What have you heard bad about the shadow drive?
At 12:50 you mention hooking the pump up to the fuse block with a 40 amp fuse. I’m pretty sure the Blue Sea fuse blocks are rated for 30 amp per circuit. Isn’t that going to be an issue?
The auto pilot only manages the steering so the over board situation is the same, the boat will just go it a perfectly strait line or navigate up whatever track was set. I will add that now that I have used it, I would have a hard time offshore without it. Perfect heading regardless of conditions, saves a lot of effort.
man he said loctite 454 when it was actually 545... I love you dude ,, I do the same thing all the time thought i was the only one
Thanks mate for the video.I will be installing this pump on my Catamaran Build in the coming month, appreciate the video.Cheers Ross

Sealant was put on the threads BECAUSE you are in a Corrosive Environment Keeps the threads from Galling ,,Locktight & antiseize works also

What happens when a wake dumps the captain over the side while on auto pilot ? Cut off lanyard?
