I made a shroud for my spotlight so the beam doesn't reflect off the foredeck and blind you. It works like a charm, Now I'm looking for some good forward lighting. This was very helpful. Cheers from Vancouver Island.

Think I may still this idea and put two on the underside of my Trolling Motor mout the sticks out over my boat. Use two to minimize the shadow when the trolling motor is down.

Looks great!! I went with a plash 6" combo spot flood light bar on my flats boat and I was super impressed. Over 7000 lumens on a little light. They're made in Texas so they're a bit costly. If you decide you need something brighter the 6" plash marine may be the way to go. It would fit under your pulpit nicely.

Un gran video como siempre. Un saludo desde Houston. TX. Mi familia no se pierde un video. Mi papa le instaló una barra de luz al bote de nosotros y al ver su video me comento q seria bueno tener un relay para q el interruptor no se vaya quemando con el tiempo ya q ese foco es de una potencia considerable.

Nice install, i will have to share that i had these on my boat too, they are ok for docking at idle speeds but unfortunately can not be used for navigation as the LED light is too disperesed and soaked in by the water. Love your channel and I watch your videos every day, I liked all the addons you have done to the boat. Honestly I don't think it goes well with the crooked house. But that's just my opinion. I know you do everything with a purpose and everything you add to the boat has a meaning but Capt this in my opinion doesn't look good or gives out the amount of light I would expect. Keep up the good work with the channel, hopefully we all can go out to the boat ramps really soon. Stay safe 👍

Especially on a rough night where I need both hands to run the boat!

It's called flood light captain.. would be good to install a flood and spotlight side by side in case need to see farther away. If they have one with two beam flood and spot would also be great. Also, once you're on the water some of the light will be absorbed by the water and will not be that bright unless the angle of the waves with respect to the boat will reflect some light back.

There are some 60 inch led ones that work great and the give great light, good for boats and 4x4's. For me light at night is a most. Keep safe cap and keep the videos coming. 👌👌👌👌👌

Small question for you: When putting your boat on your trailer at the end of a trip, do you then try and find a spigot to hose down the boat with fresh water -or- are you comfortable waiting until you get back to your home? Yes, immediate wash down is preferred...but how important, do you think?
