- I love listening to podcasts on my ipad. There's such a rich variety of programs covering every topic imaginable. If you'd like to learn a few basic tips on how to use the Apple Podcast app, then this video is for. Nothing complicated, just a few simple tips to get you up and running.

Apple give no real guidance on how the podcast app works so your video is really helpful. I may have missed it but you might have mentioned the app setting to sync across devices as you obviously won’t have your ipad when walking your lovely dog !

Thanks for sharing the useful information. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for ending a podcast. The only thing that seems to work is shutting my phone down(iphone7) when I'm done listening.

I have been struggling with podcast management. Would you know how if you find a show and there are 100 episodes, how can you listen to the oldest ones until you are caught up live? I have downloaded the older ones but the settings only has the latest to download. I really liked how you explained the app. 😊

I wonder if you could explain how to remove a podcast on an iphone....
My bar at the bottom containing the search, listen now and library is covered by the last podcast i listened to. I cant uncover it??? Thanks for your help.
You mention the Apple Watch and Air Pods but I missed your discussion about using the Podcast app on your watch.
When you are out walking Cooper I assume your Air pods are used for a better listening experience through your Apple Watch. Where is the Podcast actually saved? On your iPhone in your pocket? On your iPad carried in a backpack? Can your Apple Watch get the Podcast from either of them? Or is your Apple Watch one with a cellular connection therefore not needing the phone or pad?
Is there a way to search for a specific episode within a podcast show that you are following?
How do I set iPod to automatically go to the next episodes. If I spelt the play next it just keeps playing the same episode unless manually select the next episode.

Are you using the same Apple ID account? If so, they should sync. You can always try turning your iPhone off and then back on again to see if that will force a sync. Hope this helps!

Why doesnt the new updated podcasts notify you or update?
I cannot synch podcasts between my IPhone and iPad. Settings are identical, iOS is 17.5.1 on both devices. 🤷♂️
My daugther in law is...lets say...one of a kind.. she take my phone and erase some apps(i have no idea how many of them are gone) from my iphone without asking me at all,this is my first iphone so i dont know how to do or reinstall the apps she erased because i cant find the podcast app, could you please help me?

How do you get the Podcast symbol on the lock screen and receive notifications when new shows come on. The notification button is on but receive no notification.
This might be an issue with the Podcast widget. When I use the widget it updates sometimes and sometimes not. Not sure what's going on. Plus, some shows update and others do not. That might be the fault of the podcaster and not Apple's Podcast app. But like you, I wish notifications worked better.
I would like to know how to subscribe to a podcast.😂
I know apple podcasts work if anyone wants to work let me know
