Always feel exhausted?

  • I think sometimes we get so bogged in exhaustion and misery that we lose sight of a better life.
I've been in similar places, and I'm really glad I continued taking steps to try to get to a better spot.
I know it's not simple for everyone, but I've found that maintaining this pursuit keeps a bit of hope in my life - which already makes it more enjoyable.
Just some thoughts. Hope you're all well today!

Amen to that. Hits so much harder for me after hearing so much condescending or well-meaning but misguided advice, to hear this guy, who is so actually genuine and compassionate. For me I had this epiphany today that, one reason I'm so tired is because I don't feel like I can trust people, so I wanna work on that, maybe you feel the same?

@@unidorsalicosahedron7416 We need to foster strong relationships with ourselves. Thats not to say that being alone is an inevitable existence. But what I do mean is that you’re never truly alone. Since I’ve never formed a very close relationship with another person because of my inability to trust sometimes I wish I could just clone myself and keep myself company. Then I realized that you can and should keep yourself company.
You can’t run away from how you feel and your thoughts all the time sometimes just sitting down and listening to yourself is what it takes. In a relationship with another person, you can’t just ignore conflict, because problems are inevitable, and they will fester. This is why so many relationships end in divorce. It’s the same thing with yourself, you can’t just ignore and run away from the internal conflict through escapism. Some people keep this up for long enough, that their depression becomes so bad that they “file a divorce” with themselves. The easy way out.
The solution in a relationship is to listen to your partner. Seriously just put ego aside and find understanding. Why are they unhappy in the relationship, what needs to change. And the very act of listening to someone, without arguing, puts them at ease. It diffuses so much tension and makes people realize you are not their enemy. I believe you can do the same thing with yourself, and if you fail to, you start to loath yourself and “give up” on yourself. Just remember you can never give up on yourself, you may feel like your own biggest enemy, but you have absolutely nothing in this world if you don’t have yourself. You will never not be “by yourself”

Some of us just have fibromyalgia and that shit is not gonna change no matter how much you try, it can be better, but never over and you have to live with it.

Much love. Thanks for being you. I have fibromyalgia so being exhausted (and in pain) is my life. I still do what I can to always pursue wellness while being sick. It won't cure me but it definitely helps my mental health and therefore the relationships I have to pain and exhaustion. I love your message and I think there are ways to apply it pretty universally. 💜

Thank you for sharing suggestions without saying there's one solution that can solve this for everyone! And for the validation that it's natural to feel this way sometimes -- but not how we're meant to live. 💜

    You did give the answer.
Dude this video came up for right literally the morning after waking from some trauma.
I realise I have to make changed. Within myself, in career and lifestyle.
Hearing you say it reminds me it's not just an idea. It's a fundamental concept that others also see.
Keep telling it hommie! Love ya from Australia.

I love this! It's just so realistic! Others will always demand "change" like get another job our stay away from ppl who are draining you but is not how life works! Sometimes change is not an option so I'm glad youre acknowledging that and giving suggestions to deal with exhaustion. Great content

Hey thank you for this, I have almost no friends that give me any proper social interactions and trying to coordinate to hang out usually leaves me on read for weeks so I just stay at home 24/7. It’s down right miserable. I don’t have a job that involves me leaving and everyday my head hurts like crazy… I even see the outside world as just getting my hopes up as it never seems to lead to me getting what I desperately crave…. It’s so infuriating and so many people just tell me, “to live life, is to be miserable.” HECK NO, I wanna be happy gosh DARNIT!!

I love this message !!!! Recently a lot of things have been making me feel drained , so I’m taking the time to focus on my health , exercising more , spending my hard earned money on things I want not just bills and food , spending more quality time alone and not around people that are draining, AND taking time for self care (Korean facials and shopping 🥰) .Sometimes we need to choose to feel happy and then take necessary steps to make it happen !

I gave up on pursuing a better life via mindset a few months ago. Since then I've been even more exhausted and depressed, and on top of that I'm so bored. Little things have been whispering at me to pick up that mindset again (podcasts, working out, reading, journalling etc) but I think this is the final lighthouse. Thank you Hampton. You're doing amazing even with content that's over a year old! ❤
