Because im miserable and depressed, alone, broke, angry, sad, stressed af, hate what’s going on in this world, and am at rock bottom more than ever. Im not even 30 and fighting for my life and trying to not end it.
There’s a great book called “Real Love and Freedom for the Soul” by Dr Greg Baer that was a game changer for me! Also, exercise/running, good music, journaling and prayer saved my life in a different season of life until I got some counseling. Hang in there!!
I feel you, and was emotional after reading your comment. I am sending prayer that you will open the door and seek friends to help you. I have to tell you I have had times like this too and had to ask for help from others. Do u believe?
What's helped me enormously is lots of vigorous physical activity. The collaborativity. Weight training eliminates fatigue. Also reducing carbs and sugars in your diet makes a big difference.

I have started lifting weights and I can see how people can get really into it. I just have some handweights that belong to my grad school daughter (yes, Harvard, thank you very much), the heaviest being 20 pounds, which is HEAVY to me! I will never ever join a gym but will continue to lift things around the house and my weights. I have always wanted that slight upper arm definition instead of that big blob arm.
@@amgnico I needed to sleep about 9 or 10 hours per night plus about 90 minutes every afternoon. Otherwise I was anxious, angry, nervous and tending to fall asleep during my work. Now I only need to sleep between 6 and 8 hours per night and no sleep at all during the day. I'm active, happy and full of energy.
@@areynolds38116 Don't go by the list itself -- he explains in depth how each issue affects fatigue and tells you how to fix it. As someone who's been dealing with severe fatigue for 25yrs - post-viral, vitamin deficiencies, low stomach acid, severe anemia among other horrors - this confirms my own theories and research and gives me priorities for a recovery strategy. It's the most helpful video I've seen as someone who's had their life ruined by chronic illness. If you're not dealing with extreme fatigue then it's probably not for you, but if you have been and getting little to no help from the medical establishment then this video is definitely for you. I almost didn't click on it because it was longer than my usual attention span on here and I assumed it would be a generic talking point kinda list. I'm grateful that I clicked on it and listened to the entire thing.
1. Vitamin b1 and exercise - to deal with stress 2. Sunlight/infrared- to increase melatonin (hormone for sleep and antioxidant). Vitamins d3+k2 can help. 3. Keto + IF 4. Apple cider vinegar and retains hydrochloride- to deal with low stomach acid 5. Vitamin B12, iron, potassium+magnesium (salad)
There really needs to be a big push for 3 and 4 day work weeks. 10-12 hour shifts with more days off. A ton of stress comes from not having the time to get to an appointment, care for yourself, your home, your kids, etc because you are working 5-6 days a week and the days off you have are on weekends when many doctors, dentists and mechanics are closed
In CA, Kaiser is a main hospital system. The offices and pharmacy are closed on the weekends. You are so correct, how does a working family function with this lack of service?
And then everything else like shopping, housework, yardwork, everything else. You have to cram into one or two days. So you're working even when you're "not working". Your body never gets a chance to recover.
I work a 10 hour 4 day week and hate it. Maybe if the times were different it would be better? I have to get up at 3:45am to make it to work by 5am (work hours are 5 to 3:30). Yes I get Monday off for appointments and what ever but with kid games and other family activities I definitely don't get enough sleep during the week till sat morning. I'll sleep in on Saturday morning and my wife always asks me how I can sleep so much 😢! Maybe when life things slow down it would be better? But all this is making me a tired, fat, a$$ h#!e.
Causes of Adreno fatigue - 1. Too much cortisol. Body running on glucose. The glucose makes you exhausted. Add: B1, Ashwaganda, add physical work. 0:48 2. Poor Sleep 12 - 2 am. Melatonin. Sun. D3 and K2 before sleep. 4:18 3. Post viral symptoms. B1 n B3 + Zinc deficiency and other nutrients. Going through loses. 7:20 4. Lime disease. Oregano, garli thyme sage go on low carb diet. 11:00 5. Insulin resistance. + intermittent fasting. 11:38 6. Low stomach acid. Apple cider vinegar + butane chlorine. 12:20 7. Vitamins defficiency. Potassiun n magnesium. Lots of salads. 13:23
8. Boredom ( or Depression ). Once you find something really fun, new and entertaining the energy suddenly spikes for that activity. Or it's like if something critical happens where you must act then energy appears out of nowhere ( it's not adrenaline, it's just different mental state ).
If something critical happens, the adrenalin kicks in to help you to deal with it. If you anticipate doing something fun, then dopamine is released. The adrenal glands produce adrenaline by transforming the amino acid tyrosine into dopamine. So it is still adrenalin and the sympathetic nervous system.
Depression in men is usually associated with low testosterone (I'm no doctor though). Best way to get rid of it is by boosting it up by spending time with other men, outdoor activities, strength training, etc.
Yes. Depression. It's common it's terrible and there's not much physical about it. Group therapy or psychotherapy are the best path, although totally sneered at here in the USA.
This is so true and unfortunately because it's so simple, it's overlooked as a reason for feeling fatigued. My job is boring af and drains me of my energy because I'm so bored. I think i have other issues but this is a big one.
If my mind is racing with thoughts or I'm around negative people, it makes me really tired. Also if I eat sugar I tend to not have a deep sleep. So I avoid all this as much as I can 🥰😃🤓 Dr Berg, your tone and your energy gives me sooo much energy 😁

Mine is Adrenal fatigue, for sure. I cut my work hours (I’m an RN). The pandemic pushed me over the edge. Gained 17 lbs. lost it all and now still losing. The news cycle puts people into a fear state. Avoiding the news and social media has been life changing.
I was already a machine. I’m 54 years old, spent 31 of those years in the Army. Retired at 49. I’ve always ate real food (at least in my adult years) and have a lot of natural energy, but this guy has given me a turbo charger. Yesterday I mowed for 7 hours, today I ran the weed eater for 8 hours (in 90 degrees + 6 waters), then showered and took my wife to dinner. We just finished watching M:I on Netflix. My point is I didn’t think I could have more energy than I already do. Here’s what I did; first, I stopped drinking alcohol. No gimmicks, I just stopped. Next, I quit Sugar. That was fkn hard. Next, I eat KETO and high grade hamburger and ribeye. Twice a day (morning and before bed) I make this shake (washed whole lemon or lime), 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, half handful of blueberries, half handful of raspberries (from our garden), ice and 16 oz water blended into smoothie. This and hard work on our hobby farm/sawmill. Changed my life. I also eat 3 farm fresh eggs and 2 pieces of bacon every morning. No food 2 hours before bed. Try it! 3 weeks in you’ll feel brand new.
I had really bad fatigue. I slept literally all day every day, it didn't feel like I was alive it just felt like I was existing. There's no doubt in my mind, I believe my fatigue would have eventually killed me. Nothing changed until I changed by diet. Now I have high energy, I wake up feeling really good, and I'm alive again :). Trash food always leads to a trash body.
I worked night shift for years, was living off energy drinks and coffee, putting myself to bed with every sleep aid OTC and prescription I could get my hands on, Ate healthy and exercised 4-5x a week high intensity work outs but was always tired and still had no energy but enough to push myself. I thought I was healthy and chalked up my fatigue to chronic fatigue syndrome. It wasn’t until I found dr berg and really learned what it means to eat good quality food and health in general. I started with his keto diet recommendations and I have lost 30 lbs, Stay pretty active but no where near before, my sleep is amazing, I take no pills of any kind, consistently take all vitamins and stick to his healthy keto, I feel incredible. Tons of energy and feel the best I every have felt. It took many lifestyle changes to get to where I am and it didn’t happen overnight but Dr. Berg is such a wealth of amazing knowledge and cares about people’s well-being.
I cannot thank you enough! I am crying 😭. I was sick and tired of doctors dismiss my fatigue because blood hormones are coming normal so I am fine or it is normal for "women" to be tired and have to "learn" to live with it rather than try to find the issue and help me. You gave a lot of options here. I will try these with hope it would finally help me.
Hi I'm 65 multiple health problems that had gotten worse after emergency Gall bladder and infection. After putting on sta, ins weight went up by 3 stoscle aches fatigue the lot. Recommended to your diet. My energy is now great, because of other problems with my health can not exercise that much, so have lost some weight but not a lot. I have stopped the statins now and personally, this is the best I have felt in years. Can tell straight away if I try to eat carbs. Thank you, Julie uk
Best advice I received from my family Doctor at age 15 a year after my Fathers death. Was don't worry about things you can't change and change the things you can. I sleep 5 hours a night of sound sleep and never tired I'm now 64 this Oct and retired at 55.
I've noticed since I started working out and cutting out sweets/sugars almost completely out of my diet I've been way more awake and have had no fatigue. I work 8 hours throughout the night, get 4 hours of sleep, then I'm good for the rest of the day. I noticed my friends at work only eat sweets and refuse to do any physical activity during the day and they are always tired. Really I think once we start caring for ourselves and taking care of our bodies we will be thanked with more energy. This is the most energized I've been in my life while being the most active which says a lot.
With your advice, I have reduced the aginizing effects of Lymes by 95 percent. I also reduced my weight from 205 lbs to 185. That is my post high school weight at 6 foot tall. My wife is free of her type 2 diabetes and has not needed insulin in almost a year now. After she had tripple stint heart surgery last year, it turns out she also now has perfect colesterol. She went from 190 lbs to 132 currently. We enjoy ketosis and the huge benefits thanks to you. Our daily fasting is so easy when there is no cravings for carbs and sugar. Your vitamin suggestions could not be more spot on. We both can not over emphasize our sincere appreciation for your guidance and thank you for our health and well being. 😊
I was at a point where I had a hard time getting out of bed and was tired in the afternoons. I then disciplined myself to get on healthy keto and IF. Now I'm sleeping well, waking up early and have good energy in the afternoon. Great videos by Dr. Berg!
Work out. Eath healthy. Roughly calculate your calories per day and your macros. Get enough protein and enough carbs. Try seeds and fruit(kiwi and blueberries are kings) for vitamins and other essentials. Eliminate junk food, chips, candy and soda. Take cold showers for waking the system up, boosting immunity, develop cold resistance and enable natural raising of dopamine levels. DO ALL OF THIS GRADUALLY. Take your time. Your body is your temple, build it brick by brick and worship it.

One thing I left out in my original post is to try meditating and seeking spirituality. I know it sounds cringe, but for me, I found that it relieves me of some of the stress. I was never a relegious person growing up, but after finding something to believe in, does it really matter if it exist or not if it genuinly makes me feel better and life my life more fullfiling ? I had a similar thing with potassium deficiency. No doctor told me, even though I went to them many times and had blood tests. The blood tests came back normal but I had sooo many health problems. I found out the recommended daily amount of potassium and realised I wasn't getting anywhere near that. I started consuming the recommended amount of potassium and I immediately felt so much better. This encouraged me to look at my diet and try to improve it overall because if I was deficienct in potassium, what else was I deficienct in? I'm feeling so much better now, no thanks to the doctors I saw. How much do they get paid again?
Thank you Dr Berg for sharing this valuable information! My daughter has diabetes type 1 and we watch your videos together, improving our health because the "system" doctors seem to have given up on us completely. Thank you so much!
I felt this way until i started working out again. This created a higher demand for energy each day and my body responded in kind. My appetite grew as well for the same reason. Now I weigh less, eat more, sleep better at night, and feel 100 times better.
it probably isn't just the exercise but the increases in energy consumption means you also get more nutrients from eating more plus you deplete bad sugars/insulin faster. i can't afford it anymore though. inflation made it impossible, i have to work more plus working out increases food consumption and the gym also got more expensive. Food is just too expensive. im a college student

I had twins at age 47 - had to feed them every 2 hours around the clock - this was 9 years ago. Once I finally got to get a bit more sleep, as they grew, I felt beyond lucky to get 6 hours of sleep at a time. Now I don't seem to ever sleep for more than 6 hours. Basically, no matter what time I go to bed, I wake up around 4 and I get up, because I can never fall back asleep. How much sleep would a 57 year old woman ultimately need? I remember Mrs. Zimmerman (3rd grade teacher) telling me in 1973 that older folks don't need nearly as much sleep as children do.
Kid, you're not one of us Older Folks. Trust me. When you hit 80, maybe ... but the closer you get, the better it looks! SO. Relax. Talk to your body and ask it to get the healing sleep and rest that it needs. Be mindful of what you're putting into it, especially later in the day. Stop counting the hours and be aware of You and your own needs. Congratulations!
I'm sorry for the potentially "personal" question but since you said you had twins at 47... was it through in vitro fertilisation? I'm curious since me and my partner are approaching our 40s and would like to have kids in the next couple of years.
Just my thoughts; And this helps me alot. The first thing I did was delete All social media and quit watching the news. I also stopped ALL sodas and Only drink Water, Coffee (black) and OJ in the morning. I also began Praying and meditation and this has helped me. Hey doc. I'm glad people like you (doctors) still exist. I've learned many useful things from TH-cam videos that you've put out. Most doctors should be ashamed. You are a great example of what a real doctor is.
Just finished my monthly 36 hour fast....I woke today without feeling tired. I do 18/6 most other days. I also noted that I am more in tune with my intuition and higher self when I fast. I exercise regularly, walk outdoors for an hour daily and find I handle stress much better than most folks in their 70s, many who sit home most of the day.

Information from scientific experts can be overwhelming and frankly confusing sometimes. Breaking down remedies to complex medical conditions in ways that resonates with regular folks like myself is what keeps bringing me back to your site. Thank you good sir!
Physical work helps my anxiety especially when I get a sense of accomplishment. Plus the use of Ashwagandha helps greatly and I learned that from one of your videos.
Yep, this is soooo true. Since I’m on low carb and 20:4 IF, my energy levels have gone up so much! And spring is coming, more sunny days, so I feel way different than just a few months ago. It’s unbelievable! I wish they would teach nutrition etc in schools! I never knew it wasn’t normal to eat so much processed stuff until I got into the topic because of the need for weight loss.

I feel like I’ve been tired for years. I work nights 3 nights a week and some days I’m doing things that are high risk/stress. Numbers 1 and 2 spoke the most to me. I eat pretty well, 50-70 carbs a day only, mostly 0 sugar a day (minus the occasional 1-2 days a week I’ll have a small treat). What’s a good dosage for ashwaganda and b1? ‘5”10 171lbs thanks
My husband and I are struggling very badly with fatigue. He’s an RN and on his feet 16 hours straight 3-4 days a week and we have a 1 year old. It’s a lot. We are gonna try all of this I’m excited to see how it works. But I think our biggest hurdle will be quitting sugar 😵💫
We’re with you Elimination can be difficult with a busy lifestyle and kids so just reduction can be a more achievable goal. Limit “treats” to specific days that fit your schedule and congratulate yourself and feel good about being more healthy for every day that you are, and then increase those days when you see the opportunity. You’ll appreciate the “treats” much more and you’ll feel great about your more healthy days.
I was diagnosed 8 years ago with multiple sclerosis. I take 2mg of low dose naltrexone which keeps it under control and took away most of the awful symptoms. But tiredness, oh boy. But I’ve recently started keto so here’s hoping.
This topic is so important. I'm 45 now and have been tired since my twenties. Had my first child as a struggling single mom at 18..... Now I know why I'm so tired, and I will be purchasing some of that nutritional yeast!!!!
I remember jogging 5 days a week for an hour with a healthy diet. I think you are right about how working is better than exercise. Jogging/running for too long can stress the body. It thinks its running for its life or to hunt like our great ancestors had to.
I take B1, D3, magnesium, zinc, ashwaganda after my OMAD from noon to sometimes 6 pm. Seems like if I take at bedtime, I have trouble sleeping. Going to try his prescription for low stomach acid before meal and see if that helps.

Thank you for this. I know my adrenals have taken a punch--I lost my mom to cancer (she was 65), in October. Her illness, her death, the enormous grief, funeral planning, etc. I'm a mom of 5 kids, 16-2, who are homeschooled. And I teach online part time. We are trying to eat keto as a family because we recently discovered my 16 year old has insulin resistance. She's fit and active 5'11" volleyball player (or it seems on the outside) but she developed extreme anxiety and mood swings. We discovered from blood work she has high liver enzymes and cholesterol and triglycerides. I'm trying not to let planning keto meals for 7 be a stress. Your videos continue to give me hope and encouragement.

This time last year I was completely burned out, zero energy or vitality at 33 years old. I used to start everyday with an extremely strong coffee and another one most afternoons to keep myself going. I believe my adrenals were burned out, since then I've completely cut out coffee. I think this has been the biggest contributers in helping my fatigue, I started taking Ashwaganda and other herbs throughout the last year. I have a healthy diet in general and now work and go to the gym...and still have energy left over. I'm amazed. Honestly I had the vitality of an 80 year old. I never thought I could get back to feeling energetic again. I was running on empty for about 6-7 years. So grateful Dr Berg ❤️
When I was young I went to work for the US Forest Service and had to work outdoors winter and summer doing hard physical labor like snowshoeing to mark timber, fighting forest fires, hiking up and down mountains, riding horseback, etc. Believe me, riding horseback is not just sitting on a horse, but it is hard physical labor when you ride rough mountainous terrain all day long. Usually I only had time to eat supper once a day with snacks in the afternoons to get me to my supper. You had to be tough to work for the Forest Service in those days LOL, not so much in today's world as they just sit at their computers in an office now days. So anyway I'm 74 now and by accident I learned early on in my life how important the outdoors and less food was. For me to feel chipper I have to be outdoors and working/playing almost every day...
According to this video, it's important to put all electronics away hours before bedtime. It is also important to exercise and to complete household tasks/projects hours before bedtime because both increases energy and could interrupt sleep. This explains why I am more alert at 1AM and wide awake at 4AM periodically. It's time to make adjustments. Great information.

When I hear suggestions like "avoid stress" it always makes me think "oh great, how didn't I think about it". I mean sometimes it's impossible to avoid it. My stress is constant and never ending. I wish I could "switch it" just by hearing "reduce stress".
I have a policy of not worrying or thinking about anything from 9 pm to 9 am. On saturdays whole day. It really helped. Stress needs action but we need to recharge ourselves first
I think the main reason for unexplained fatigue these days is because of high carb diet and low grade sleep Humans are naturally built to sustain short bursts or medium bursts of stress but lack of high quality sleep is causing us evade the recovery mostly thanks Dr Berg for making us all aware of these pointers
I got bloodwork done recently. I am healthy with all blood levels and organ functioning normal....... Still FATIGUE. 11.3 was my hemoglobin level. This is why I always feel so much better at the beach. Sunrise over the ocean is a good source of infra-red melatonin boost. Who knew it was working in your cells as well as giving you a feel-good response in your brain too? Plus Vitamin D. It reflects significantly after about a week of subjecting my body to this constant non-punishment 😂. You always sleep better with salt air and sea breezes. Love that you give the chemistry without getting too bogged down.
Vitamin D before bed will confuse your circadian rhythm, it's supposed to be had early in the day during sun hours. Vitamin D at bedtime will disrupt your melatonin production which will ruin sleep quality and all of sleep's cell renewal benefits and cortisol reduction. Ask Dr Berg to confirm this and he will agree. 👍🏼

Set your alarm clock for 6am, when it alarms you get UP. Doesn't matter how tired you feel. After a few mornings of that 6am wake-up/get-up your body will adjust, you will want to go to bed at 11pm and you will fit your body to a very regular sleep cycle.

All tested brands of oregano and thyme were contaminated, 15 of 17 brands of ginger and basil, and 9 out of 17 brands of paprika and turmeric tested positive. It was explained that pollution, water and soil, in the area that these crops are grown is the reason and organic versions were also affected. This was a consumer reports article so they didn't give brand names without a paid subscription, but the containers looked like common brands. I was wondering if you had access to similar information that you could share with us, at least maybe where we can access cleaner versions. I will try growing some of these myself but that will take a while.
Great breakdown. I have a question… what about any parasites in your gut? Do they influence the fatigue? And do you have a video addressing gut parasites? Thanks so much, sir. 🙏🏼 you rock, doc 👍🏼👏🏻

I can’t fast. If I don’t eat little and often I start to feel really bad and so tired. I don’t have diabetes, Been checked. I got diazepam from my doc to try to get a sleep at night. Just one weeks worth. I was so tired even after having 8 hours though. Always fall asleep in the afternoons. I am in peri menopause too. I feel I have no energy or motivation. I am on anti depressants too for anxiety and depression. Just feel so old at49. It’s hard to exercise when you’re so tired 😢
I dumped all my prescriptions.. and fell much better. Getting rid of pysch meds made a big difference in my attitude and energy. Was on the crazy pills for over 40 years.
Try sun bath for long durations, like 2 to 4 hours. Don't use sun screen . Use some natural oils while talking sunshine .try it for ten days. It will help you and then you continue.
Yeah same if I fast. I get shaky and weak. Then inability to sleep-if I take sleeping tablets I’m dead all day. If I don’t then I won’t sleep. Catch 22

Stay strong mate, we're all here for you, i promise you it'll get better.

Absolutely..I've always said this
I believe it's made like this on purpose

Get rid of toxic relationships and surround yourself with the things you want to have in this life.
☝💥💯
True but since those toxic relationships have caused physiological changes in your system, it’s important to address them side by side
No toxic people around. 0 Tolerance for toxic people makes your day✌
Yes lower anxiety with some exercise and good healthy fuel for the body. My energy spiked since I have been vegan
Time to let toxic go ! Physiological, mental or emotional. 🤢
Cheers !! 🤠
@@davidolmos6335 Bingo. Go lift something heavy.

I'm 54. I find a good afternoon nap helps with that.. Also water and my potassium magnesium before bed and making myself sleep before midnight helps

Cool 👍 thanks for sharing!
Is it save Aswaghanda for d hiperthyroid person doc @Dr. Berg?
Yep, this is soooo true. Since I’m on low carb and 20:4 IF, my energy levels have gone up so much! And spring is coming, more sunny days, so I feel way different than just a few months ago. It’s unbelievable! I wish they would teach nutrition etc in schools! I never knew it wasn’t normal to eat so much processed stuff until I got into the topic because of the need for weight loss.
what time does your eating window start?
@@karanpreetkaur8114 I start eating in the morning, simply because I like breakfast and I’m never too bothered about dinner. I start eating at 9:00 with a breakfast and then I have a lunch at 13:00 and fast again. -12kg now and counting! :-)
@@amaraloves amazing! Thanks
I’m just reading this 8 months after you posted it. I’m hoping that life has gotten easier for you and you are in a better place then months ago.
Such a great video, there are so many reasons for why we are tired other than poor sleep. Your body will tell you one way or another if you are not aligned and sleepiness is one way for it telling you that everything is not okay. Love how clearly you explain scientific topics!🧡
Agreed 👍
I surprised that within 5 minutes people are writing the reviews in early morning which is indication of good life style!
@@RajShah202 So true
I feel like I’ve been tired for years. I work nights 3 nights a week and some days I’m doing things that are high risk/stress. Numbers 1 and 2 spoke the most to me. I eat pretty well, 50-70 carbs a day only, mostly 0 sugar a day (minus the occasional 1-2 days a week I’ll have a small treat). What’s a good dosage for ashwaganda and b1? ‘5”10 171lbs thanks
So true!!! ❤️
Control caffeine intake.
Your body will thank you.
X1 a week is good.
We’re with you
Elimination can be difficult with a busy lifestyle and kids so just reduction can be a more achievable goal.
Limit “treats” to specific days that fit your schedule and congratulate yourself and feel good about being more healthy for every day that you are, and then increase those days when you see the opportunity.
You’ll appreciate the “treats” much more and you’ll feel great about your more healthy days.
My spouse and I are both RN's. Get out of nursing. Decrease your stress.
When you have enough of the right fats 70% the night before you will feel full and after a while won't crave sugar.
Quitting sugar is hard. But it is so worth it!
I was diagnosed 8 years ago with multiple sclerosis. I take 2mg of low dose naltrexone which keeps it under control and took away most of the awful symptoms. But tiredness, oh boy. But I’ve recently started keto so here’s hoping.
Hey did keto improve anything?
Dr Berg,,, you are to us in the Middle East a life savior.. Wish you, family and love ones best health and blessings.
This topic is so important. I'm 45 now and have been tired since my twenties. Had my first child as a struggling single mom at 18..... Now I know why I'm so tired, and I will be purchasing some of that nutritional yeast!!!!
I am right there with you, sister! That is my story too. Hope you have found some relief!
Wonderful video Dr. Berg. We are truly blessed to have someone like you to help us get healthier. God bless you and your family. 🌹
I remember jogging 5 days a week for an hour with a healthy diet. I think you are right about how working is better than exercise. Jogging/running for too long can stress the body. It thinks its running for its life or to hunt like our great ancestors had to.
Your videos are always invaluable to me. I appreciate all the time you've taken to make so many of these to help everyone. Thank you!
Get an infrared light or a natural sunlight lamp
I take B1, D3, magnesium, zinc, ashwaganda after my OMAD from noon to sometimes 6 pm. Seems like if I take at bedtime, I have trouble sleeping. Going to try his prescription for low stomach acid before meal and see if that helps.
So interesting and so true - changed my diet , lost weight and walk every day - I feel lighter and working on my stress levels now , realizing when I’m stressed and listening to my body more ❤
Thank you 🙏
what’s your diet like?
I don’t know you, but my heart breaks for you and your loss. You seem like a strong woman and I want you to hear this… I can tell you are struggling and hurting, but I can also tell you are doing a great job for the situations you’ve been given. Pls keep pushing and don’t be afraid to tell your kids you need help or that you are struggling. It’s a good learning experience for them as to what being an adult can be like.
Much love and respect to you 💕

We need more doctors like dr berg here. Too many doctors this age are quick to make the pharmaceutical companies richer by writing prescriptions. Keep it up Dr berg. Jesus loves you because He is love not because you are a great doctor. God bless you sir
Yes, many doctors today are evil. I refuse to visit them and make Big Pharma richer.
Definitely
Praise God, well said. :]
Already started taking the cold showers and now you're giving me another Godsend lecture on something I need to know.
So the cutting out coffee brought the biggest improvement to your fatigue? Anything you used as a substitute to coffee?
So cutting coffee out helped a lot with gaining more energy.?
For me to feel chipper I have to be outdoors and working/playing almost every day...
sounds like you had a great job when you were young

According to this video, it's important to put all electronics away hours before bedtime. It is also important to exercise and to complete household tasks/projects hours before bedtime because both increases energy and could interrupt sleep. This explains why I am more alert at 1AM and wide awake at 4AM periodically. It's time to make adjustments. Great information.
He is really easy to listen to and his advice has been really helping me in so many ways . It’s crazy how much happier you feel when you start looking after your body 💪🏼✌🏼
Very glad to be of help.
I looked up the normal levels for women. 11.6 is the low normal level. Bring slightly lower, I took 35 mg iron just to see if it would help. Yes! I could breathe better and actually felt normal!!! Deep cleaned my house for 3 days lol
Always exercise!!! I am unable to exercise due to a lifelong damaged spine!! Now I spend 80% of my life flat on my back. No sunshine no exercise, lots and lots of familial stress!!! I'm going to give that Ashwagandha a go. Thank you Dr Berg!
Hi Joanna; I'm in a similar boat. Try crocheting or some craft you can do sitting down. I crochet alot. I've got a really bad back too. It gives me a sense of accomplismnent to make something beautiful despite my limits. There's plenty of instructional videos on youtube about how to get going. I hope this helps you.
If nothing else we can be glad Dr Berg is a great teacher. We can sit and listen to him all day.
You might want to check out red light therapy. He suggests this a lot as well.
Thank you Joan48, I will definitely give it a go!!
I want you to know how much I appreciate your teaching style and how you go into such great detail about why someone has these symptoms. You are a huge blessing and I thank you so much for you sharing the videos and your knowledge.
Thank you Dr Berg ☺️ I take both vitamin B1 and D before sleeping. I feel much relaxed and sleeping easily since I started to do so.
@@ultimatoni9051 you r right, I did have problem when I had it at night

@@ultimatoni9051 I must say it didn't affect me too much, apart from a couple of weird dreams ( not nightmares) and strangely easily awakened by the sundawn, but I will likely start to take them in the morning instead. Thanks.
Dr Berg, could you please do a video on why (people like me) are inspired early in morning, and as day progresses, care less and less about staying the course, and so on? Really affecting me lately. As always, thank you for everything!
You could check his videos on mood, physical work, nutritional yeast, potassium citrate powder, b1.
Set your alarm clock for 6am, when it alarms you get UP. Doesn't matter how tired you feel. After a few mornings of that 6am wake-up/get-up your body will adjust, you will want to go to bed at 11pm and you will fit your body to a very regular sleep cycle.
thank you,

Hi Dr Berg, this is so helpful. Would you mind doing a short video on the best time of day to take certain key vitamin supplements and why, such a B complex, C, D3, K Mk7, Magnesium, Potassium, and Zinc and any other daily you recommend for those of us on Keto especially. Thank you! Jenn
YES! Excellent idea!
Too much b vitamins and vitamin c actually kills My energy, seems to lower My cortisol way too low
@@TheJimmyswe150 maybe you need methylated B vitamins, I use B-Right by Jarrows because Some of my genes are MTHFR compound heterozygous.

Thanks Dr Berg for the link to this. I feel it was made for me. I want to be fit. I'm 58 and feel like 108. I think my tiredness is caused by all the reasons you listed, (hopefully not lyme). Cut sugar today & carbs, drinking water (I never drink water) and had a keto friendly breakfast. Now I'm moving and gonna do some gardening. Planting tons of veggies too. I feel like death but this afternoon I hope to feel like death warmed up (which is a little bit better ).

Masturbation makes people tired. If you eat less meat, your sexual instinct will activate less often
A root issue that is often overlooked: mouth breathing. We need the nitric oxide released through nasal breathing for energy.
What about those of us who are mouth breathers and breathe through the mouth all night long? I can pretty much "force" myself to breathe through my nose during the day while conscious, but the minute I go to sleep, it's mouth breathing all night long.

Dr. Berg: Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge and your own journey to health. God bless you and your family!
Thank you for the great info. I recently saw a video about spices being highly contaminated with heavy metals.
This video helped me more than my neurologist ever helped me in the 13 years I've been his patient. Thanks a lot for uploading.
