If you are someone who wonders about how to find your passions or "what career should I chose?", then you've come to the right place. Because each one of us has a natural affinity for certain things. Things that we've always had an interest in even when we were much younger. I've compiled all 11 of these passions/abilities so that you can figure out which one is the best for you. Hopefully this will allow you to figure out which career path to go down and also help you find your passion and purpose in life.
NOTE: This video was heavily inspired and based off of the works of Howard Gardner and his Theory Of Multiple Intelligences. There is some debate over the use of the word intelligence, which is why I decided to switch it to abilities and passion.

Simple and effective way to know what your passions are: what makes you forget you're hungry, thirsty or that you need to relieve yourself? It was in you ever since you were a child. These activities made you so content, time stood still when you did them. Now go and feed this passion and desire. Let's do this.

I personally believe that the sad reality is not everyone can have a passion or not everyone wants their passion to become their job. A passion is similar to an obsession. You can't just decide one day that you want to be passionate about a topic and become passionate.

@@magickiler9819 I agree because passions grow from interests. But my point is that you can't control what you are passionate about or if you become passionate at all. Similarly, you can't force yourself to have an interest in something. You can explore it for however long it may be but you can't control whether you become intrigued or not. Passions are the same way but with a strong, almost uncontrollable urge to pursue it.

My main struggle isn't necessarily finding what I'm passionate about, but it's applying myself. I don't know how to actually pursue anything regarding my interests, and honestly... i just wish I could feel a sense of purpose

I don't know if there is wrong with me, but after watching this I still don't know what track is right for me. :(
it takes time. I learned at a young age to ask myself what am I good at, how can I make money doing that, and what do I like to do? After 15 years of pondering these questions I still don't have a concrete answer. But the more I think about it, the more I try things and perform actions, the better understanding I have of what I should be doing and what I shouldn't. I've been very successful for years and then lost it all over these 15 years at one point. My point is this. There is nothing wrong with you. Just have to keep trying new things to see if it works for you and don't get into the habit of quitting because of emotions or failures.
You can just try it all so you can know what you enjoy.
Think about it this year. It takes time. It is yourlife not a game, it needs time to find your way. Question this. What makes yourlife so boaring. Then you answer why... and the answer must be something that if you do not have it, you have nothing.

I began with coloring anything. I learned music on my own. I learned about music through listening to every type of music there is out there. Now I compose music for movies, television, videos, and games. I'm also a photographer. I use my photography skills with my art. I write. I'm the author of several books. I'm a graphic designer as well. I designed the covers of my music albums, and my book covers. I wanted to learn about everything. I did.

If your interested in all of them, take note of which ones you perform better at than most people. You can succeed in those fields if you have more of a knack for it and can help more people🤷🏻♀️
The best part about finding your passion in life is waking up every morning with a purpose. In the past I used to sleep in and hit the snooze button a lot, but now I'm so excited to start my day that I jump out of bed right away. It may take years until you find your passion but trust me, keep searching for it.

@@Livia-ze9ch It's videography. A few years ago I bought a gopro for fun and I instantly fell in love with cameras. It's weird because in school I never had any interest in cameras at all. For years it felt like I was just floating through life with no direction. Finally, I now know exactly what I want to do with my life and it's been amazing.

@@nibbax7772 The problem with finding your passion in life is that it has to come from self discovery. No parent, teacher, sibling or friend can tell you what's best for you. The way I started was by eating healthy and exercising more often. This vastly improved my daily energy levels so that I could go out and pursue more activities. I tried creating a youtube channel, painting, a podcast, being a courier, going back to school, etc. Eventually something will "click" and only you will know what that thing is. Best of luck.
I find it so wholesome that everyone is sharing what they resonated with the most :)) I like reading over these and thinking about how I'm not alone with the anxiety of feeling like I'm caught in the middle of an 11 stringed spiderweb lmao, I can't go anywhere. I like the idea of that narrowing it down to 3 things that were the most resonating. For me it was Musical, Visual, Spiritual, and that kinda culminates into my biggest passion, film making! :)) So it just gives me more confidence in my decision, yeah, this is rad, don't be sad, just pick three things that aren't so bad B)
If you're being completely honest with yourself, and the 3 abilities that resonate with you most are Musical, Visual, and Spiritual, then I personally see zero ways that Film Making won't be a great decision for you. Best of luck!

I could be wrong, but isn't that music editor? Or sound director? Or conductor? Jobs that are editing sound tracks for recording or leading a band, orchestra, or choir or something like that? Or putting sound effects in videos or working on sound in shows and movies? I'm sure other skills are needed. But would these help get the idea ball rolling?
Be an audio engineer, basically just a dude who adjust the volumes of instruments, and makes music sound better with audio effects and stuff

I’ve always loved designs, colorful creations, structures, furnitures, home decorations, and how they how perfectly aesthetic to my eyes.
So hopefully I become an Interior Designer or something related to someone who does planning out of home decoration, etc.

You can consider viewing passion as energy input. You can be interested in multiple things but which of those are you willing to exhaust energy consistently over a long period of time? Which thing are you so interested in that you are able to actively commit to (instead of just watching others do it or think about it) and accept the stressors it will bring?

1:54 another career option in the Natural Ability is plant breeding and plant research. Plant breeding is my job (since a short while, I graduated last year) and if you are interested in plants and have attention to detail, but don't see yourself being a farmer or fulltime sitting down, this is a nice combination of office work and field work.

I don’t know if you’ll see this but I still want to talk about it. A few weeks ago after almost two and a half years of holding my thoughts and feelings, I cry for half an hour speaking to my dad about how insecure I was about my decision and myself.(btw is because of you I manage to open myself up to my family) I’ve been going to a psychologist and it help a lot on loving myself but not on what I want in my future. I lean more towards music since I was in band from 4th grade till highschool graduation, and always listen to music, but at the same time I don't know if I really feel a passion for anything.
I love physics and learning about the concepts, but hate the math and can't be bothered to put effort into it. I just gotta work on myself and maybe one day I'll be able to actually have the drive to do something in life

And people remember. Even the most "useless" ability can make for a great career. For example making people laugh can sometimes be seen as something useless but making people laugh is a great ability that can make for a great comedian.

I was skeptical about what my interest would be, like- i can draw, i love music but my logical brain always have been interrupting this series and cut it off bc I already know that my brain is SO freaking logical, i found out that “logical is gonna be my choice” also i love to express my words specifically and even my frnds always used to tell me when i started improving my English that “dude u don’t have to know a new word to say this, u can say it by simple words” but I cant feel comfy without the unique taste of the heavy words so am also “linguistic”

This video is absolutely great and inspiring to try out new things! The only topycs I think iy missed out on are food and sense of humor, cause those are some passions that leeds to life careers as well ;)
I realized how much I LOVED being active. I could play badminton for six hours straight (me and my old friend are crazy competitive so just imagine how intense 3 sets would be for us, and we would do about 3 rounds of those sets in those six hours). I did sports every season in high school and I was most eager to head the P.E than my other classes. And now I love working on my physical health like working out, eating the right food, etc.
Me being musical and movement: Okay then, I will become a kpop idol
Me being an Indian: I have less opportunities, but still I will work hard.
Me having Indian parents: You can become whatever you want after becoming a docter ft engineer.
Me: Time to find a boy to run away with..

@@anibalandrade Noo just come here in India , our parents just don't know anything except doctor or engineer .. I was interested in philosophy and science too but not in engineering .. I wanted to study psychology but yes I can study that after becoming stable in a job ( engineering of course) ..

I’m definitely a mix of natural and movement. I have done dance for 13 years and then switched to running. For both, I loved going outside and dancing to music and running outside. I hike frequently and also cook and bake weekly. Not just that, but I research in health a lot and how we can maintain our bodies as humans. Also as a matter of fact, I recently applied to work at a camp for 10 weeks next summer. For my career, I want to travel the world (doesn’t everyone thought) and join the military, Army or Air Force. So all in all, cool video; thanks for the insight!

As a child I took inspiration from Leonardo DaVinci who was not only an outstanding painter, but also a scientist, a philosopher and more. I decided to study nutrition for now :D but sometimes I still feel like I'm torn between my many, many interests..

with Interpersonal, Intrapersonal and Lingustic, you can use that to teach or mentor people with your other professions/interests. Develop your digital skill a bit more and you could turn that into an educational youtube channel, which could make money. Your visual skill means that you could have an eye for pretty graphics and whatnot to help that even more. Your musical skills could mean composing or choosing music for those videos, and your natural skill just helps in your profession in general, so you know what you're talking about. This is just 1 example, btw!
Same. I'm currently studying engineering but I like many different fields and would get a ton of degrees if there were more time in life.

Ok so I boiled the 11 abilities down to 6 Visual , Musical , Digital , intellectual , Natural and Movement. I combined the Natural and Intellectual ones cause the job I want is heavily based on science and nature. The other four are just there as hobbies and backup plans for if my nature and science job doesn't work out. Thanks for this btw it really helped 😁
Musical, intrapersonal, linguistic, digital and visual. I’ve also done well as a teacher and am very spiritual. My spiritual and intrapersonal passions have been the most difficult to make profitable. This was very insightful.

Linguistic, Logical and interpersonal are for me, thanks for clearing things out, I'm just about to make the choice for my career and i want the best and most interesting one for me. I've got many hobbies, being writing the heaviest, but I love language learning and social public communication, I've always tried to learn more of said topics and excell in them above average, so I believe that's the way to go in life hopefully
I have a visual ability and I’ve always had. Every time I watch something on tv I subconsciously analyze what colors are used for certain emotions and camera tilting. And if it’s animated I look for how the lines are shaped and what colors are in the shapes. I don’t only do this with colors and shapes, I also do this with gravity. Like how an object looks when it’s heavy or light.
