    Welcome back sweet friends and family. Just in case you’re new, I’m Dr. Erika and I share what I eat in a day OMAD vlogs and weight loss motivation. I’ve been a daily intermittent faster since June 2018. I’ve lost and kept off 60 lbs for over 3 years now. I also exercise everyday. I’d love for you to join me on this journey as I share my story.

    Apple Pie Oatmeal:
    1/2 c water
    1/2 c rolled oats
    1 medium apple
    powdered peanut butter
    cinnamon
    light brown sugar
    raw agave nectar or maple syrup
    Warm in the microwave on high for 2 1/2 minutes (longer or shorter depending on how firm you want your apples)
    Enjoy!!!

    Good morning friends. Day 18 and I’m feeling great. I’ve settled on 20:4 and it’s working well for me. I sip on my water all day. When I feel like I want to eat something, I’ll sip on warm water. Sounds weird, but I actual quite like it. I usually feel a little hungry in the early morning, but it passes by 8 or 9 then it’s easy to keep fasting. I appreciate these daily videos! 💜💜

    Thank you so much for the motivation ! I did 5 days omad then spiraled back to old regular eating. But I felt great on OMAD. I am restarting again today with Gods help! ❤

    Morning Beautiful Friend! Checking in early! 1444🎉I’m so proud of you Sis💕Today’s my husband birthday 🎂 💕so we’re having family time all day! This morning he and I went on 5 mile walk up the trail. I’m drinking this water while he’s playing basketball. Later we’re just doing whatever he wants and then the kids and I are surprising him with a new vegan restaurant that opened on the other side of town. Talk Tomorrow 💕

    I stopped doing OMAD because of my workouts. I didn’t think I was helping my muscle growth (I really want it😀) I love doing OMAD. Your tips today helped me. I’m going to start back tomorrow! Congratulations on your consistency❤

      Hey BF!!!!! Yesssssss….for the streak! Thats huge!!!! Keep showing up and showing out! I completely understand the dynamics between exercise intensity and fasting (especially OMAD). I feel like I’m being led to just focus on a fasting lifestyle (break whenever I need to) and not be married to one protocol. I think my body as relaxed some doing that approach ❤️

    Hello everyone 😊 - I've been looking forward to your vlog all day. It's been a busy day. Fasted but didn't make my 16hrs...I felt good about just showing up to my fast. I agree with you on the part about what you eat prior to the next fast seems to have an affect on my hunger too. Got in an early morning workout. I finished my water and got my steps today, too. Grateful for early morning day light, good filling foods and productive work days. Talk to you tomorrow. 😊❤

      Hey Sis!!! Exactly!!! You fasted…pat yourself on the back. Here recently, I’ve had to remind myself of that. Remember during our May meltdown challenge, I just broke my fast whenever I “needed” to. I would do anywhere from 16 to 23hrs.

    Good morning friends! I’m playing catch-up on the videos. I’ve had a crazy week at work. I’ve been questioning my career choice and praying about whether it’s just growing pains or it’s time to look at another path. I’m leaving that up to God though.
    The main thing I’ve been consistent about this week is cooking at home. Last night I made chicken fajitas for my son because he and my husband love those. The first time I made it ,I diced up the chicken and added the fresh cut fajita mix that you can pick up from Walmart. Last night I used chicken tenders and frozen bell pepper strips. I didn’t cut up the chicken because, having the smaller pieces makes me afraid they didn’t all cook all the way. It just decreases my paranoia if I can do the whole chicken tenders, and use an instant digital thermometer. lol I put the chicken tenders in a bowl and added the frozen bell pepper strips. Added some olive oil. You can also use avocado oil. I used a tablespoon but I think I probably could’ve gotten away with half a tablespoon. Then I add just under 2 tablespoons of kinder’s fajita mix seasoning and tossed that altogether and put them in the air fryer. We are in triple digits here so I’m still not turning on the stove. Next week we’re looking at 111° highs. 😢
    Anyway, sorry for the long comment. I’m really looking forward to the July challenge. To all the friends on the struggle bus I’m still there, but as Dr. Erica says we just gotta keep moving forward. Thanks again for the motivational videos!
