The bass is perfect, well rounded and layered in my opinion, being able to hear down to 20hz in these bad boys is awesome!. I listen to my music at around 50 - 70 percent although, I feel anything over this is unnecessary and damaging to the cochlea.
I bought these headphones mainly for the sound. Really pleased with them. I live in Norway and the touch pads on the Sony struggle when it gets below -2 degrees. I work outdoors in the winter in -25 degrees, No problem with these

Just found your channel as I was looking for other reviews of the Momentum 3s. I truly appreciate you adding real world analysis in your review, not just a theoretical review of specs.
I also get ear pressure from ANC headphones, probably because I had a perforated ear drum in my teens. So this air pressure mode is really interesting. Also I have a pair of the Sennheiser 600s and I enjoy the Senn SQ. 👍🏻

It seems that Sennheiser put more effort on the Momentum 3 model than the PXC 550-II one compared with their previous versions.
yea they did a good job on the momentum 3 :)
I can really see this being perfect for just daily life. The focus is mainly on design/build and Sound. Anc is good enough for trains and stuff and with anti wind they also brought something for on the go wear. Sound is probably what most people like. Bass just is what most want to hear haha. 17h is definitely not the best but more battery would probably bring up the weight to much. Lots of energy is going into the big drivers and strong dac.
I personally think they are the best bet for daily at the moment with the sonys still on top for travellers and Bose for people who call a lot.

You didn't mention anything about the microphone. Very interesting how it works in noisy environments.
Best mic has Bose 700, but because of shitty sound, I don't wanna buy it.
Opposite for Sony XM3, sound is good, but mic is terrible. Because of it I don't wanna buy them too.
Hope mic in Momentum 3 will be good, because seems like sound is great.
Mic is okay has improved alot with the firmware update. But i feel on my sony its better

Yeah, they are over ear. May be a mistake, it's ear cups are even bigger than Momentum 2 wireless'
Everything is good about these except the battery life.

Hey 17 hours is enough, they do a lot more with the power in the sound circuitry than the Sony’s. Also they have quick charge. Like 5 minutes charge gives you hours of music
I don’t get it. The sound is a little bit better than the Sonys? A little bit only? After owning the Sonys for nearly a year I just got the m3 and I was immediately blown away with the sound! Where the Sony’s sound good the m3 sound amazing! ANC is much better following a firmware update and it cuts more low noise than the Sony now.

sennheiser's are the dogs bollocks i have a pair of the HD-6XX's from massdrop bloody brilliant studio quality headset also OVER THE EAR...LOL...but the sound seperation and quality...easilly the best headphoners i have ever owned and they can take so much power can push them with my shitt stack dac/amp to tremedous levels without loss of quality

@@TechMagnet I really like it! I own the Sony XM3 too. Yet, since my Momentum 2 isn't the wireless one, I am using it at home mainly.
Momentum 2 sound tiny compared to momentum 3.

If u don't travel alot and u don't make alot of phone calls ..this is the one to get...if u travel alot get the Sony and if u make alot of phone calls get the Bose
If you enjoy amazing music sound quality you get the m3! Call quality is excellent and ANC on level with Sony since firmware update
